Hi contact me if your still interested in embroidery. Ive been doing embroidery for years and i can suggest the type of machines perfect for you and not that expensive. Also how to make patches that arent puffy.
I picked a brand new one up at a yard sale yesterday for $8. I want to tinker with it, but I am also wondering about program cartridges and thread. I don't want to run out and not be able to get more. It would be nice to be able to rethread them. I have a ton of embroidery thread.
How did you make the butterfly... I have the book can't figure out the butterfly.... And I got heat and bond type stuff in my box with the machine to put on the back when done
The butterfly was one of the pre-made designs in the memory of the machine. I have packed it away, it's been a while since I did anything with it. I did find a place that sells the cartridges for it but for way too much money back then, never ordered any of them, and they were non-reprogrammable. The ONLY programs I was able to get to modify were stringing letters together that were already made onto premade designs in the machine. There is a chart of designs that should have come with it with instructions on how to make it work; it speaks its own language, and is kind of drawn out on how to do that. I cannot remember exactly how to use them.
Hi - Were you ever able to find out any information on the cartridges and thread cartridges? I am asking because I just came from a church rummage sale and got a brand new one with the threads for $2.00. I saw a posting on Amazon where a lady said that she figured out how to rethread the thread cartridges but did not indicate how. I am still looking for that answer myself.
I haven't been able to figure anything out, unfortunately. brother doesn't sell them, they have replaced the model and it seems nobody else has tried to "hack" the cartridge slot. No new information, dangit!
I have the same frustrations. I bought this second hand, was excited and then.... So... If you find out anything about supplies, cartridges, etc I would be thrilled. Thx, Beth
Nathan. I have lots of pieces for the appliqué station and I have two side cartridges.
I'm glad your machine is doing well and you have carts for it, I no longer own this, so have fun :) What carts did you manage to get?

I have some of the booklets and extra cartilages if you want. There is no where to get info. I searched for months.
If you found anything out could you let me know. I know it’s been a long time but I need a lot more info

How frustrating! If I run across anything, I will let you know.
I know! Thanks, I still have this machine and it's SO interesting. Anything that can make other things is interesting, I hope we both find more info!!
