  • Once again, it was a long drive up the coast, but I KNEW the shells would be amazing after all the wind and rain we've had lately!! There were so many shells on the beach, I was in heaven! I wish I had more time to spend there, because wow, there is a lot to find at Dundowran Beach!
Let me know which ones were your favourites ;D and if you enjoyed this and want to see more shell finding videos, I'd appreciate a like or a comment. I read all of them and try to reply when I can. You have no idea how much of a smile you guys put on my face. Thanks everyone!

I didn't even realise that Hervey Bay and it's surrounding beaches had such lovely seashells until I saw "Shellcade Shelling Down Under" - I admire him a lot, and you can also check out his amazing videos here:

It’s so neat that your shells resemble the ones I get here too. That propeller arc is awesome!

G'day Sharmon 👋🏻🏖️ I do find myself making comparisons to Florida seashells while I'm at this beach 😲 maybe it has something to do with the gentle waves here compared to the hard crashing waves around the rock pools closer to home? Maybe I'm wrong, but I always think that Florida pleasant waves 🌊 As for the propeller arcs, I don't really know what to compare them to 🤔 They're such an oddball! Thank you so much for watching the adventure today 🥰

Ahhh, ummm, ahhh… sweet swirly seashells!!! 🐚🐚🐚 So many really cool shells today! ❤️ Can’t choose a favorite today. 🤔 Loved the cambells strombus and the dog whelks. 🐶 And I really liked those telescope shells! I would be bringing home such a heavy bucket of shells!!! 🪣🪣🪣 😂 Sure wish my shell hunting in Navarre had been more successful. When I get around to cleaning them I’ll send you pics. Another wonderful video!!! 🎉 Thank you Maddie! 🥰🥰🥰

G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 Sweet swirly seashells, if you think this was a great adventure, just wait for the next episode where I walk the opposite way down the beach 🏖️🐌 but seriously, there were some amazing shells in this video; the Telescope Snails were very new and interesting to me 🐚! Oh no Pam, after saying all that, I feel a bit guilty to hear that you didn't have much luck at Navarre 😭 I hope you at least took home a bucket of goodies! I bet if I was there, I would have gone nuts and gotten all the boring ones off the beach, like, 100 Florida Fighting Conches!! I can't wait to see which treasures you've brought home with you, be sure to send me a message whenever 😍 Thank you so much, and for coming along on another adventure 🥰

I guess I was feeling brave today; I don't think I looked that close to the mangrove trunks before this trip? The Telescope Snail Shells were all right up against the trunks, so I guess that's just they're favourite place to live?? Anyhoo! Thanks for joining me on this adventure today 🥰

G'day Toni 👋🏻💖 You are really remembering those names!!! There was honestly so much to love at Hervey Bay this time; there was a little more variety than I had previously found, too! Did you end up being able to choose a single favourite? I mean, I couldn't even decide on a favourite!!! The Whelks are so cute, but the moon snails, and then the Campbell's Strombus 🤩 I think that interesting Sordid Moon Snail might have been my favourite. This was a big day of shell finds; thank you so much for watching this longer length episode today 🐚❤️ and I see you're able to comment again 😉 you must have found the solution. Hello from south Georgia! Thank U for the adventure and great shelling and beautiful 1s as well. U make Ur video so exciting, makes me want 2 go and it's been a minute since I've been 2 the beach but I have lots and make chimes with them. What you call a lefty shell, over here we call the either, kittens paw, lions paw or cats claw. Thank U so much for getting me away for a few minutes. Very exciting! Continue having fun and stay safe. God bless! 🥰

G'day again, Alvin 👋🏻🐌 Oh wow, do you live near the Caspian Sea? I will be honest with you; I know nothing about shells from the Caspian Sea 😅 I've never heard of any shell species that come from there, either. After a little bit of Googling, I think you can find mostly clam and mussel shells, and maybe a few small gastropods. I'm not sure how correct that is, but some places will apparently have shells to collect...but no, it doesn't look like you'll find shells like the ones I got here in Australia.
