Triumph Mountain Cub T20M First attempt to start following some basic attention - will it run?

After going over some electrics and other basics to make sure we had sparks, fuel going through the carb and oil in the oil tank, it was a natural next step to see if this machine might show some signs of life. This was my first attempt to start it.

Always liked the “Sports Cub” / Trials Cub models. The bigger forks made it look a much better bike than the ‘small’ models. This one sounds good. Les

A step in the right direction. Is that typical of "loosely" set electronic ignition, before it has been dialled in using a strobe?
