This pattern & video are great. Thanks so much! I’ve never crocheted before this, apart from 3 rows about a decade ago. I used some other videos for learning particular stitches & the magic circle along the way. I feel confident enough to take on a simple pattern with no video after learning to make this bunny!
Anyone unsure about sewing the pieces together, have a look at videos doing ‘ladder stitches’. As someone who sews first & is just learning to crochet, that is my favourite way to join things like this.

A little tip when making a magic circle with fluffy yarn to avoid the yarn shedding:
After you do the magic ring and chain one, make two SC and then pull the yarn until the circle is almost close but theres still room to insert the hook. After that, SC the rest of the amount you need. When you do it this way the circle will be almost closed so there's not going to be a lot of tension and force to pull the yarn all the way closed. This is what always worked for me so i hope it works for you guys!

Thanks for the pattern I love making animals. I know some as it’s hard working with fluffy yarn, what works for me is I 2 different color markers, like red and green for example and I put red in each stitch as I go and put 1 green on the first stitch. This way you can see where every stitch goes and where 1st goes. And with the manic ring I put a colored yarn to see where the hole is when working very tight. 😊

I made 2 of these to give as a Christmas present, it was my first time ever making amigurumi/plushies 🤩🤩 It was difficult at first since I was making 2 simultaneously (and I made all the legs at the end 😫 ,they were the hardest for me.) But I love them!! They turned out soooo cute and I cut some ribbon to make the bows too. It's so cool that you made this free and available for everyone!!🥹🥹 I had to subscribe 😎

that was so nice 🥺🥺 but how much yarn did it take for 1? i cant estimate to buy fluffy yarn 💀💀

@@ThanhThaoNguyen-hk8ji I had 3 rolls of yarn for the 2, so I presume 2 rolls is enough for 1 bunny. The yarn i used: alize velluto 100g. Peach color with blue eyes 😄

@@3ve1yn8 I actually didnt put in safety eyes, I embroidered them, But If I did it again with safety eyes I would probably measure the eye size and cut a piece of paper or something to see if the size is ok on the head!

This has been very helpful but for the face it was hard for me to know how to embroider the nose but still very beginner friendly!

My daughter has a jellycat rabbit, and really loves it. The one I'm making (in lilac) is a sister for the one she was given for her birthday and she's going to be so chuffed. My only complaint is that you skipped the fixing eyes and stuffing instructions - not to mention how to embroider on the nose! Anyway, the head is completed, and now I'm going to move onto the body etc.

i made one for my best friend (I havent given it to her yet, but i know she'll love it) and it came out a little lopsided but that just gives it personality. i also added a crocheted heart where the heart would be and it came out sooo cute. i love this pattern and will definitely make another one.

I love this pattern! However, I was confused because I didn't watch the tutorial in the beginning. I just followed the written pattern, which doesn’t mention to do an invisible decrease. So I had to go back and fix all my rows with decreases in them because I did normal decreases where you go under the entire stitch, not just the front loop 😅
