I feel like in standard typhoons are very underwhelming. They just have too little range and high lvl MM kill the shield with just one shot anyway.
His chaff clear was basically those 4 stormcallers with fire, so maybe double war factory with AM could help there.🤔
Yeah they're great at what they do, which is clearing chaff and applying pressure, but they obviously can't do it all on their own. They pair well with farseers, IMHO. A bit expensive, but they cover each other's weaknesses fairly well.

Without the unit drop in round 2, would you still have selected marksmen? I feel like you need to get levels on the marks early, but it’s always a balance with chaff clear
Firecallers dominated this game-murdering chaff, igniting oil, and causing a degenerate rangewar. I only waver ~1600 MMR, but it feels like a vast majority of my games are run by stormcallers, especially after the buff to Arclights as cheap crawler-clear and nerf to split crawlers. I hope this doesn't continue into release-while this may be because I'm not the best player, it feels much more difficult to play against the stormcallers than to just use them (and it seems like most players around my level feel the same).
The problem is not stormcallers but mostly fire on stormcallers. Thats what makes game toxic on occasion. Yeah you can build Am devices or buy upgrades for mustangs but for what if your device will die and you lose value or one stray rocket connect in the midle of your chaff line in that one fucking perfect spot that makes all your chaff magically go there..
Imagine giving stormies acid....... People would run emp acid fire combo and heavy anti air only.
Emp storms are much worse. I hate that it's a starting unit. Most game warping unit and it can show up before the first round...
Frankly, I think Marksmen need some kind of a nerf. It's just too easy to mindlessly carry with them. I played a guy the other day who was trying to spam the crap out of Marksmen, which I countered fairly easily with hordes of Improved Wasps... until he pushed the Assault Mode button and then I was getting wiped out. Fortunately I was able to pull a counter by rapidly pivoting to Sandworms, but it was still a narrow thing and I only pulled it off because I placed my Electromag Blast in the final round better than him (hitting over half his assault Marksmen with one shot and wiping out their tech).
Why would you go wasps into his marksmen when you can see he has the assman tech?
