This mission is quite straightforward, but can give some players trouble if certain factors aren't addressed. First off, be sure to defend your side of the map and prevent the Axis from capturing/cutting off your command posts. You'll need all the resources you can get at the start so you can start upgrading the Sherman tanks with 76mm guns and smoke. Second, be sure to knock out the Axis base asap so you can relieve yourself of their constant attacks to the flanks. Third, don't worry too much about getting the medal. It seems the Panzer Grouppen will be destroyed automatically once you manage to capture the final objective.
I was able to keep the camera smooth for the most part, but if it suddenly zips around that's because my cat wanted attention and decided to pull on the mouse cable. Overall I think it was quite a successful mission considering how fast and efficient I played. Enjoy!

I remember going almost insane from this mission lol. Germans coming from behind somehow, taking one point and losing one on the other side, _endless_ number of vehicles all over the map... I ended up clearing the ENTIRE map before capturing the road.
Can't wait to relax and watch through this. I've been enjoying this series way more than I anticipated. Without commentary it just lets the expert gameplay speak for itself, and I'm a big fan of the battle strategies you use. Super effective and satisfying.
I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying it so much =] I try to preserve my units whenever possible. Also more exciting that way when you see them vetting up after each skirmish. I have a lot more tricks and tactics to show off for later missions. Will be sure to keep up the strategies.
Beautiful strategy. I remember that after I have destroyed the german base, the germans got infinite tanks and I dont know why. But then I saw that they rebuild all the base thanks to two engineers who repaired everything. Nice video
Yeah, they can be sneaky like that. Best to just ensure all pioneers are dead so they don’t start building tanks on your flank.
Amazing micro with your vehicles there. I've never seen anyone keep the original battlegroup alive to the very end of the mission.
Gotta love Engineers in games like this and Command and Conquer.
@@michaelandreipalon359 true. Though engineers are a unit to be reckoned with compared to here. You can lose a good amount of buildings to Engis in C&C

I think light vehicles are severely underrated and are perfect for moments like that.

This mission was so exhausting on normal mode. It feels exhausting just watching you battle the waves. I thought you would have had to use more mines and defenses than you did, and the fact you went so long without reinforcement tents was surprising. Impressive game again!

German troops were literally appearing out of thin air in this mission.Everytime you think you've cleared an area and move on......more German troops would arrive at the same spot from seemingly nowhere.

Essa missão é bem demorada, tem que ter muita paciencia e estrategia, tomar os pontos e proteger os tanques com os engenheiros, e tentar derrubar os quartel inimigo para evitar que saiam mais tropas.. boa sorte pra vcs

This chapter was extremely long, so long, that I had to consider this chapter "annoying chapter". It took me 7 hours and 14 minutes (434 minutes) to complete this chapter with all secondary (there is only one secondary objective) and medal objectives (there is only one medal objective), and I was playing on easiest difficulty level mode setting, which is "Easy". I am playing this video game for the first time, but the tanks, the MG-42 machine gunners, the flamethrowers, and the Panzerfraust men are *really annoying* in my opinion. I even got defeated one time only, in the first 17 minutes of this chapter of this video game. In the first 5.5 hours of this chapter of this video game, I did not know how to build tank depots. When I learned from other sources, I understood and knew that, then for the rest of 1.5 hours, I decided to build tank depot. But for the last 50 out of 90 minutes, I completed this chapter without medal objective earned. Then, after that, for the last 40 minutes out of 90 minutes, I completed with medal objective earned. And yes, I am *really* playing this video game for the first time, in 2024. It *really* took me 7 hours and 14 minutes (434 minutes) to complete this chapter (the chapter 5: "Montebourg") of this video game. Even playing on the easiest difficulty level setting mode was annoying for this chapter, no matter what. Infinite spawning Germans, the Germans capturing the town, forcing me to capture the town too many times, and not to mention, I *had to save* this chapter roughly *60 times* (you have saves per campaign). Endless enemies and vehicles (tanks) kept spawning, and it took me way too much time for that thing. This chapter is *one of the most annoying chapters* of this video game, in my opinion.
You need to take out the German base on the east side of the map fairly quickly to stop the flank attacks, capture all AT and set up a screen to hold off the Panzer IV attacks . You don't need to worry about capturing the town until you've built up your base and resources.
@@SimonHeartfield, sorry, but it will be impossible for me. And my tanks will be destroyed if not done properly, so, I have to use bomb (not satchel charge) to destroy the tank. I also get annoyed when Germans capture the point.
