TMNT 1990 is perhaps the best picture ever made, cinematic perfection.
Though the Director envisioned so much more, the final product still surpassed our wildest dreams.
It's a picture that has only gotten better over time, like a fine wine!
Moreover, its cast is so humble and down-to-earth, and on things unrelated to the film, just regular life.
These are qualities that no other Hollywood picture, or actor, has been able to match for me, in 30+ years.
Mainstream Hollywood can enjoy its collapse, for all I care.
This TMNT 1990 project was a gift to the art of cinema, and the people involved with it have been so generous!
Really wanted April's coat, it's iconic. A bit disappointed it wasn't included in the regular version. Tried to get the Signature version but my browser failed to check-out.
Still happy that I got a fig of you. Thank you so much for engaging with fans and making this release fun for us. I can't wait to add a mini-you to the rest of the Turtles!!! Your the best!

For me, it's a shame April's signature yellow raincoat isn't a solid part of the sculpt. Definitely picking one up regardless, Judith - thanks for helping to bring the figure to fruition.

I always say the first TMNT movie is the best one. I was disappointed that you weren't in the other two films. I like how passionate you still are about this franchise and the movie , I'am definitely getting this for my collection.

I seen some people complaining about the knees. A lot of people had a gripe with Casey Jones arms. But it works you can’t See it when you pose the figures.Neca Is doing their best to make this figure look perfect and have articulation in the legs like everybody asks for .at the same time try to replicate your sexy legs. I am a Custom figure maker I can completely understand why they’re taking this approach besides when she’s in a stance or when she is in a diorama with other figures it doesn’t stand out

💯 agreed. I can live without her signature would just like to have the jacket 🧥 included in the base set.
The cost of making the coat was prohibitive - even though it’s only plastic. It would have made the cost of the figure too high. It’s $29.99 for figure vs $99.99 which for some people, especially now, is out of their reach.

It’s definitely the April accessory most TMNT fans want. It’s saddening that there isn’t an option to include it if we wanted. I’ve been waiting for your figure forever. TMNT 1990 was the very first film I seen in the theatre as a kid and still my favourite film today.

I pre ordered the action figure non signed one. It's sad people that pre-order the signed figure are trying to scam people on ebay for 100x what they paid...anyhow I'm happy I'm getting the action figure at all. You are the real april o neil...

I’m happy to say I was able to get the Signature Edition. After 12 mins of it not working on my phone. I switched to my laptop and was able to purchase it 👨💻 Luckily 2 mins before it sold out. Can’t wait to have it!!!

Sucks that the original figure doesn't come with the raincoat, the signature series sold out fast and are now on eBay selling for more than 5 times the original price. 😢
Its exactly what I was trying to prevent. Don’t pay the scalpers! The Ultimate does the trick and doesn’t break the bank!

Have the signature series already sold out? Or were they not up yet? I went to order one as soon as i watched the video, but only saw the regular. I'll probably get both, but a signed one sounds especially awesome! Thank you for this series. It has been great to hear the behind the scenes of how this came about, and the process it went through from you, and really makes the figure so much more interesting then they normally are!

I’m a big fan and pre-ordered this immediately. Unfortunately Neca are too inept to ship it from the USA to Canada and it’s been en route/lost with their courier for two months. Major bummer. Last time I’ll order from them.

Don’t buy on EBay! We did the best we could with the system in place by adding a preorder sale. The Signature Edition was something special for collectors. Limited is what makes it collectible. From the comments I’m reading it seems actual people got them not bots. And some people just want to make a profit so they’re selling them on EBay. But as of now, they’re attempting to sell something that they don’t even have possession of. Ignore them! Some people will always be disappointing others will fill your heart with joy. Focus on the good ones, ignore the others. Bad people suck. Plain and simple. ❤️🔥🐢

I’m really sad NECA makes an artificial shortage of figures.
Back in the day, toys that were projected to be less desirable would be made in smaller quantities. Then 20+ years later collectors would try to put together a set and find it hard to get some of the shorter run toys. That’s how they became more expensive.
Fast forward to today.
Demand is high on toys currently in production but they deliberately make the runs short which get bought up by eBay scalpers.
It’s one thing for items to be rare and old. It’s another thing when things are current, in production, and cut short to make people fight over stock.
Very Disappointed. Didn't get the fig for one (congrats to those who did unless you're going to scalp it) and the price was insanely ridiculous! I assumed all along this would be a normal pre order where everyone that wanted one had a chance. Especially after watching you first announce this months ago. Not a bullshit 2 min free for all and then gone like with target. I thought we'd have a window to order as in the past. Oh well. Guess I won't have an april in my collection.
The preorder is available for the Ultimate April as promised in the videos for 2 weeks. The Signature Addition was something additional that was a surprise. Sorry it wasn’t a happy one but as promised the Ultimate is available equally to everyone as promised. I am simply one person in a sea of millions just trying to add some positivity, sometimes it isn’t enough. Sad times on Planet Earth.

I swear to god I thought you were going to say that they were including a Goddess on fire Judith Hoag figure... not disappointed with the pass and raincoat, but for a few moments there I was on the edge of my seat LOL Looks like I picked the wrong year to give up playing with action figures... time to break out my old collection and get some practice in.

Neca is a mall brand it would never be at a wal mart k mart target or pigaly wiggley there high end figures that would be rediculous

This was upsetting that the standard version didn’t have the yellow raincoat! Doesn’t make any sense. April has to have that yellow coat. We got jipped.
The price point would be very high - $99.99 vs $29.99. Keeping the figure accessible to people who’ve struggled during Covid has been a real consideration. Believe it or not that raincoat costs a lot to manufacture overseas. All combined it made sense to keep it limited. I’m sure we’ll revisit the conversation again because people are disappointed but we’re trying our best I promise.
I know we all associate April with yellow, but if I'm remembering correctly (and I should, TMNT and Batman '89 were the VHS tapes I watched most as a kid) movie April only wore the yellow raincoat in the parking lot scene. So while it does make a great collector's item, it's not crucial to this version's character

I was so upset I had to get your figure without the coat. It just felt incomplete. 💔.. So I had to go to eBay and it cost me $450 just to get that yellow rain coat! 👎🏻😞
