I have an antique wooden full size bed (headboard, rails and footboard - 54" x 76") w/ hooks on each end of the wooden side rails. What do I need to get in order to use a queen size box spring/mattress with my frame? Thanks in advance!
I have rails but my queen box doesnt fit seems to be bigger than queen size box. The rails i have doesnt have the leg or middle rail like in the video. Any suggestions?
Angela H. Yes! That's exactly what you'll want to do. It's actually not good to forfeit the box spring with this product as it could damage your mattress!
Hi there! The rails are set up so that a queen mattress and boxspring can overlap about 3 inches on each size. The boxspring is then held in place with the L Brackets. We have an updated video here: ua-cam.com/video/f-oxyKhFDl0/v-deo.html
***** No, there are no products to fix frame size. This helps convert a full size headboard to be compatible with a Queen mattress. To change frame size you must go down a size in frame. Have a good day!
Last night was fun, wasn't it. It is always fun to be together with loved ones. My eye is still grateful to you! You are an eye saver! Ha! :)Gramma
Thank you for showing how to use the "C" clamp!!
+moonsting I'm so glad this helped!

Once you get this set up, you can put both the box spring AND the mattress onto this frame, correct?

Great, thanks!
Where can I buy those accessories?
Thank you that was very helpful!! :) Can you buy the any kind of L brackets or do they need to be something specific?
Kathy Jennings Glad we could help! Do you mean for this product, or to turn a regular frame into this?
The brackets you show during the introduction.
+Kathy Jennings Sorry this is such a late reply, they do have to be specific types. It's "retainer" L Brackets that you need.
For your 3 support converter rails (Item 515-3), how do I know if I need the extended center support legs?
Hi! The legs included on the frame will extend to 11 inches. If your bed is higher than 11 inches then you will need the 3 PLX-18's.
bedframestore How far down does the center support leg extend, and how long is the adjustable glide shown @2:22?
***** the legs themselves don't adjust. It's actually just the glide foot that adjusts up and down and that's what extends to 11 inches :)
I'm confused? I came here as a want widen a double bed. If this is being attached to a double headboard it won't be any wider. Help.

Unintentional ASMR
I did it myself with the Woodglut plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
