- Here are the Best Quality of Life MODS in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7 MOSTLY from the Mod Manager except for 2 mods that are not necessary on console.
I was requested to cover the bestQoL mods as thats a majority of what I use, So in this video, I'm taking you through all the most impactful mods to make your BG3 experience so much better.
Mod creator: Caites did a LOT of heavy lifting here. Their mods are incredible so shout out of them.
There are many mods that offer minor changes in the game, but some totally enhance the way the game is experienced so I cover some mods that I don't personally use myself as well.

QOL mods are always a bonus, because developers can't do everything and still make a decent game; and some people don't like certain QOL features.
With it being a mod, it allows people to customize their game to their needs and wants.
Oh yes very true! It’s impossible for game developers to code everyone and expect it to work properly, so with mods there’s also the expectation that it won’t work perfectly all the time. But these ones all work very well!

The dread overlord warlock is so strong, but the spore Druid/necro wizard used to be my old favorite necromancer in the game.
I relate with being addicted to using the dyes 😂
@@JasonDunna yeah iv been loving this dread class, my army of minions just got stronger haha
each of my companions have pasific dyes n its been great, ma main with a purple green dye is sweet, so many options i spent ages just doin dyes the other day haha
defo took your vid with the druid/ wiz went with a full water set up. someone in party creates water/ tosses a water bottle and main dose cold/ lightnight while the horde just mose down anyone that comes close lol

They’re some of the best in the mod manager, so many great QoL fixes!
My favorite race is the high half elf, because they can use thr right click to kill mod as one of their stating catrips. There is a new ring mod called nibble ring, it gives you 99 to make an easy stealing from a tarder. Also try cheat ring and other ring mods on the mod manager. Thnkfully all these mods are on the mod manger. I can not find my mod filder on my pc, so I open vortex, go to games, go to baldur's gate 3, click on the plus, click on open and then click on mod filder.

Ok but why? Isn't the whole point to be challenged lol. Half my mods add harder stuff to the game.
Check into a mod called ''Campions of Fearun'' what it does is give a chance of any enemy to transform into a much stronger enemy, and it's fully customizable through an MCM. It adds a layer of surprise and randomness to enemy encounters. If you ever make a video on it, I'd be interested to see what settings work best for you.
Ooo that sounds just up my alley!’ I’ll give that a shot. I plan to do a lot of modded content over the next few months so it’s on my list!
Absolute wrath is similar and adds a lot a variety

@@justcallmejay1905 Hahahah I’m sorry Jay 😂 as for the Native Camera tweaks I do know that there’s an issue sometimes where you have to reinstall the native mod loader because it overwrites a file, but once you reinstall the mods they should work again for good. Let me know how that goes and I can try to help out further!
@@JasonDunna I disabled it... uninstalled it... re-downloaded it... etc... same message: Load Library failed on NativeMods\BG3NativeCameraTweaks.dll
@@justcallmejay1905 hmmmm do you have the native mod loader? That file sometimes gets rewritten which removes it, so try copying that file again and it should hopefully help fix it!
@@JasonDunna Yes. I have both.. Like I said, it was working on Sunday. :(
@@justcallmejay1905 hmmm I’m not sure, I know in the past the native mod loader file would change back to the original one and I had to replace it, but the native camera mod .dll file was fine. Anytime I had issues I just had to reinstall the loader and it fixed it

You mentioned that better dying had an interaction with another mod that you'd talk about later, but I don't think you ever mentioned what mod that was. I was just curious because it seems like I have some conflict between better dyes and some other mod, I don't know what it is, but better dyes doesn't give me the preview bottom box it's supposed to.
The “Better Various Widgets” mod is the one that messes with better dyeing! If you have that one installed it might be what’s causing the issues

Thanks for the list. i thought i had a bug with the better taskbar mod because some action icons were not showing up and could not be added. Specifically for example the toggle for Great Weapon Master was absent and could not be added. i thought i had opened all the windows of the toolbar but I’ll try again.

Does the camera mod you show off at the beginning work with a controller while playing on PC? That’s one thing I’m curious about
Yes I should have mentioned there is controller support! It unlocks the camera angles

With the Better Hotbar I really tried moving the screens over to find all the reapplies etc but I couldn't get it to work.
You have to drag everything to the left as far as possible and then wait a second and it’ll appear
Hey it might be a dumb question but how did you make the tab with tags (like type/character customization) to appear. I ask becouse when i click on filters it shows nothing but explicit content option to turn on of off
Hmmm some people say it doesn’t show up unless it’s set to English, but also the mod manager fixes and tweaks mods may help fix that! Try it and let me know
I have the party extender mod. I can use the spells that say that my limit has increased but when I go to try to actually add characters to my group the character says my party is full. Any help?
You have to increase the limit and then set the limit with the other spell
Have you tried the shieldmaster fighter subclass super simple and fun.
I haven’t, is it a mod on the mod manager or nexus?
@@JasonDunna manager, it turns fighter into a defensive offensive fighter, lots of counters very cool bonus action shield smash. Really solid, balanced.
Any updates yet for when patch 7 comes to console I watch your videos and dying to download the mods on console 😅😢❤

ember lute mod refuses to update keeps failing download but it still work....also can't uninstall i get an error code in the same corner where it says fails to update

anyone know of a working random encounter mod that is not Trials of Tav. There was one called The Hunted i think that adds random enemies on top of the campaign. I think that would be great since after six playthroughs it gets boring sometimes. But the mod is no longer available except a Russian version.
Randomized loot would also be excellent and more like a real DnD campaign where you can’t know in advance what you’ll get.
A video on that sort of thing would be great /- and Please reply with any suggestions.
head mods makes all customization icons vanish. = l
Hmmmm some like faces of Faerun won’t have icons, but if they don’t appear on your character you have to put the graphics on high

if you could type the mods into your description that'd be cool of you. ik its extra work, but that would be good QOL upgrade for these types of videos.
When I get back to my computer I can, in my previous experience when I do QoL things like that my view percentage tanks and then the videos die 😅 the videos then get pushed to less people so it’s a weird phenomenon, but people have lower attention spans than ever before in history so it makes some sense
I just look at the name of the mod on the screen and then freeze the video to look it up on Mod Manager. Just a suggestion. 😊
@@markwg1035 thanks for that Mark, great suggestion! I do cover them all one after another halfway through the video so it’s easy to pick the ones you want, and I also show the mod manager step by step in how I found the mods too!

Bro, please make different sections of the video for official in-game supported modes, and a different section for all the other stuff. I am not interested in Nexus, etc. Also put CHAPTERS in your video. I like your channel and your content, but I really can't be bothered to watch a 20 minutes video to find out that I like just one or two of the mods you have covered. If you put the chapters, at least I know if it may be interesting for me or not.
