@@GhengizKanye just makes me wonder, why didn't Toriyama just revise the design to have fewer spots? It surprises me that Toriyama came up with such a complicated design, seeing as he does tend to take shortcuts (he stopped drawing the Saiyan tails because they were hard to draw, for example)

There's a line in old z where cell uses his first kamehameha against gohan, and you see it bloat out way beyond his hands, and goku says something like "no! It wasn't meant to have that much power put into it"

Doesn’t matter. Piccolo special beam cannon is way stronger. And they paying tribute to him when Gohan uses it. Gohan was his student but never in history he use special beam cannon and use his own garbage version of some beam technique.

We still need a “how strong is Gamma 1 and 2” video. I think it’s interesting that they don’t have the infinite energy feature that 16 17 and 18 has, and they can increase their power mid-battle. You could say Hedo intentionally put a limit on how long they can fight so they wouldn’t worry about a possible revolt. Also Gamma 2 has the craziest feat of being able to one-shot Cell Max if he landed on his head instead of his arm.
It was stated by the author that piccolo has the same power as Goku broly movie. And that piccolo could take an army of gammas by himself

Goku can't combine the regular super saiyan and kaioken since it would multiply the amount of stress the body would take.
For example, super saiyan is 50x multiplier.
Kaioken is not a form, it's a technique that pushes the body into an overclocking state, whereas the Regular Super Saiyan does not overclock the body but rather amplifies the cells into S Cells, basically mutation.
If Goku uses 2x kaioken while using super saiyan, his body can't endure it since the super saiyan form would amplify the kaioken technique from 2x to 100x.
50 x 2= 100.
The only reason why Goku was able to use kaioken in his super saiyan blue form is because that form doesn't really cost anything other than stamina. God ki is condensed, calm and controlled whereas the regular super saiyan ki is wild and burst out.

Also I would not call it "second". Cell Max clearly is a fusion of all three of Cell's forms (okay maybe not first one). They clearly took Toriyama's favorite design bits for it. And gave him sneakers.

Actually insane to see how powerful Perfect cell max would be! Personally I wasn't a big fan of him because he was basically a wild animal but after this explanation I understand why this was the case haha
We can't say Broly is stronger than Whis just because of that statement. Whis playfully dodged him while smiling and then even dodged the instant transmission of Gogeta when they complete the fusion and come back to the fight.

Beerus in the manga fought using full power against the other gods of destruction because the Grand Priest told them to. Belmod is at least comparable to Beerus, and Jiren is stated multiple times to be way stronger than Belmod. So its Black Frieza>Ui Goku>Jiren>Beerus>Belmod. Being a God of desturction doesn't rally mean anything if 7 mortals are stronger than all of them.

Which was introduced in the most stupid way. The writer finally after 20 years realized that fighters other than goku and vegeta are getting irrelevant since z and his way of them catching up is not through hard training like goku but stupid powerups. Also picollo trains all the time yet he is still as weak as he is made no sense but giving him a sudden powerboost of millions of times doesn't solve that
i think the reason why he is in his 2nd form is because he was released prematurely while he was in his capsule, think of it as like this, cell has three forms right? and cell max in his capsule has got into level 2, was on his way to perfect form but was released prematurely. maybe after getting to his perfect form his mind would have been programmed. just my opinion.
That was my biggest issue with how Cell got his return. The first incarnation was a genius and we get a suped up version of his body but with the equivalent of a lobotomy. I still hope they come up with a way to have him return properly, preferably with all of the memories of the original, or atleast most of them. It's not really a rematch if one of the fighters doesn't even know who the other one is anymore.
Maybe Cell and Cell max combine into 1 cell and he goes back into the mortal realm via sheer strength and asks the current leader of the Red Ribbon Army (if it still exists and is fighting against Frieza) to finish the Cell Max programming. That would be fire. Also, hear me out… a tournament, in Hell.

Maybe Call Max wasn’t destroyed and will come back as perfect call Max by absorbing the two androids just like he came back after he blew himself up in the cell games. This could be part 2 of the movie.

Actually no, Cell max was confirm to be almost complete he just lack control program that would allow RR army to use him efficiently. I doubt that Perfect Cell max would be any better than Cell max in terms of character. He would just be like Android 16 but more obedient and cold blood and almost emotionless.
My problem with these videos is that Seth takes promotional material WAY too objectively. Promotional material is not the best sources for power scaling.

@@Ojutai the reason he was powering up is because similar to ultra ego. The more fired up and angry Broly gets, the more of his latent power is unleashed (ultra ego gets stronger, Broly gets more temporary rage boost). It's a rage thing not a zenkai thing.

Beerus doesn’t even have a concrete level of power it will rise or fall depending on how the story is written. So he’ll be stronger than everyone besides angels most likely until someone actually fights and beats him

Honestly, I like the idea that Perfect cell max becomes the same height as the first cell. Like he isn't a giant, but it doesn't matter when your going be nothing but atoms in a few seconds
Personally I could see Perfect Cell Max making a return in the anime adaptation of the Super Hero Fight. Cause they’ll have a lot more episodes to expand the arc, change up some things, and flesh out Gohan vs Perfect cell as a rematch. Might even give Perfect Cell Max some old memories of Gohan as a teen even.
If they do remake it when anime comes back, why would they expand on it? They didn't do it with the other movies, just retconned a couple things and made them last longer while still feeling rushed because the quality of the BoG and FnF anime arcs have stupid low budgets and it shows. There's no indication this time will be different, Toei barely invests money in their golden goose

Part of the reason I say Beerus is still a lot bloody stronger than he appears to be is because of how Beerus just oneshots Vegeta casually in the start of the Granolah arc. Vegeta at full strength before unlocking Ultra Ego went the same way as Super Saiyan 3 Goku at the start of Super. Goku avoided fighting him at the start of the Broly movie as well, showing that despite all their gains from the Tournament of Power, Beerus was just that much further ahead. Goku, the guy that LOVES fighting strong opponents shied away from the idea of tossing hands with Beerus again. So much so that he gulped in shock while eating and was immediately against the idea, cracking a quick joke to defuse the situation. Promotional material aside, including old guides, I'm not gonna say Beerus has been surpassed. In fact, his strength just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Casually could've dealt with Moro, still oneshot a post Moro arc Vegeta who was stronger than Omen Goku at the time. Beerus is legit just insanely strong with just his physical attacks. What kind of monstrosity is he when he starts using actual techniques? So far all he's really done is some basic ki attacks and a few big balls of ki, and the occasional bit of Destruction. Beerus is a bar to be surpassed still. He's still beyond what we know. And even if Goku did pass him in the Tournament, it doesn't seem far fetched that the immortal God of Destruction has his own insane potential akin to Broly or Gohan or Frieza, or perhaps greater than those them. Champa is shown to laze around and eat all the time, and he's nowhere near the same level that Beerus is, who also lazes around and eats all the time. Beerus probably just has INSANE gains from training, and the only thing stopping him from being absolutely absurd is his laziness and wanting to take naps. Likely from having such insane gains from training that every fight is boring because nobody can come close when he actually applies himself. Not saying that's true, but so far Beerus' closest showing to his full strength was against the other Gods of Destruction, a battle which he had the upper hand virtually the entire fight, moving fast enough to escape all of their vision. For him to have been casually passed would be a disservice to the terror and pillar of strength he showed at the very start and the sheer presence his appearance has. He's a God of Destruction. He shouldn't be pushed aside idly. Goku seems to think Broly's got the power to tussle with Beerus, but a post Moro arc Vegeta who should be significantly stronger isn't even able to tank a single hit from Beerus. Seriously. Cannot stress that one enough. Vegeta after the Moro arc and all the gains he had, got dunked like he was nothing to Beerus. Nothing. Beerus is just that godly. Perhaps we'll see more of it later. Beerus did finally show an interest in training Vegeta, so we may get more showings of his absolute power later. Time will tell.

Well Jiren is stronger than a God of Destruction and Goku was stronger than Jiren and Vegeta is stronger than Goku currently is and current Goku is stronger than Goku when he beat Jiren and Orange Piccolo is stronger than Vegeta and Cell Max is stronger than Orange Piccolo and Gohan Beast is stronger than Cell Max. I think at this point being a God of Destruction isn't that big of a feat anymore...

One thing that I don’t understand is that it is outright stated in the movie that Cell Max ONLY has the original Cell’s blueprints. He does NOT have the cells of the original Cell, only the body structure of Cell. So even if he would have his Mind Control Program completed, he would not have the arsenal the original Cell had, hence why Cell Max also can’t regenerate.
The blueprints should contain all the details about the DNA used tho

Soon as Cell Max was mentioned I immediately thought Gamma 1 & 2 we’re getting set to be dinner. Especially when I saw Cell Max looking so much like imperfect Cell. I wondered if he after absorbing one Gamma that would make him “perfect” then the second Gamma would take him to some kind of “beyond perfect” state.
Also, very curious about what would happen if the cell clones fused together. I wonder if them being clones of the same being would lead to some kind of detrimental inbred like results? Or if it would just be the most perfect fusion? 🤷🏻♂️
I feel like Hedo would not have designed Cell Max to be able to consume Gammas. He loves those boys and would not want his creations cannibalizing each other.
If such thing were to happen, it would probably not be a designed feature.
Although since Gamma 1 and 2 did not posses infinite energy, maybe Cell Max could evolve by consuming 17 and 18, and part of his "original" programming.
My immediate thought was that Cell Max was going to absorb the gammas too, I'm glad things didn't go that way though as bringing Cell back was fan service enough.

A simple reason Cell Max couldn't make Cell Max Juniors is because they covered his bussy with a morning star or something. Also the multiform technique does in fact divide your strength. Its stated directly in the anime and the reason cell didn't just keep using it. Only real ones know what a bussy is.

You know if you do a little research, you'd learn how Akira Toriyama stated, in an interview, that he never wanted a "Perfect Cell" form and wanted Cell to only get to the second level. He also stated that Cell Max was his chance to live out that, to make his dream of his vision of Cell happen. That is why Cell Max is what he is and would never have a perfect cell form.

With all her connections and resources, I’m surprised Bulma doesn’t make her own Cell as a contingency. Along with what the original Cell possessed, she could add the DNA of Broly and Buu.
It could either be put on ice ready to be released if Zeno/Grand Priest crossed the line or be raised as a baby to be good.
Capsule Corp has never made androids afaik, only RR makes androids so unless she steals their plans I doubt she's making a super android that can surpass RR's androids

I still think "Strongest Fight in History" means "Earth's History". While Hedo was capable of collecting data on every fight that took place on or around Earth, he wouldn't have any way to witness fights that took place off planet (ToP, Granolah Arc, Destroyer God Tournament). I would bet Hedo was able to get DNA and data from Moro which gave him an encylopedia of universe 7 alien species. Still, I feel once Broly concludes his training he will be stronger than Black Frieza because of his insane multiple. @@Chiefteeth1 im not delusional but you need to up your research skills. 1) It has already been stated that DBS: Super Hero may not even be canon. 2) Even if you include DBS: Super Hero as conan, when DBS: Super Hero occurs Black Frieza doesn't exist yet, nor does Ultra Ego or Mastered UI so Orange Piccolo is not being compared to Goku or Vegeta at their strongest. Based off Granolah's wish he would still be stronger than both Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo because be wished to be the strongest-in-the-universe. Granolah arc has not happened yet making Granolah's wish take into account Piccolo and Gohan but as we know it did not include Black Frieza because he was in the time chamber. That still leaves BF as the current strongest. Also, stating Gohan has the "potential" to be the strongest does not mean he IS ths strongest. Plenty of athletes have been said to have the potential to be the "greatest to ever do it" and thats not how it turned out. As the manga stands right now, whether you include DBS: SH or not, it still takes place later in the timeline leaving BF at the top of the food chain.
They always need a new enemy. So it wouldn't surprise me if they still plan to use cell max again in a future manga or movie or something. It was done on purpose. Cell Max being a giant screaming monster was written like that so they can focus more on the characters and setting up this new direction the show may take when it returns. If they made Perfect Cell comeback they’d have to spend time developing him as well which would either A) make them extend the length of the movie which could make it feel drawn out, or B) spend less time on the characters which could make them feel under developed.

DBSH was a really, really cool movie, and I loved the callback to one of the most iconic fights in anime history. I also liked the idea of forcing Cell Max to be incomplete and primal, because if it was something they were going to bring back fully, then a movie is just too short.
That being said, I was a bit disappointed that we never got to see dialogue between Cell and Gohan. It wouldn't have been weird at all for Cell Max to retain memories of his previous form, and it would have been incredible to see a scene where Cell Max was sane and able to communicate, making a comment about Gohan being all grown up and asking if Goku's still dead, since he's not around. That could have triggered some panic and led to a different setup for corrupting Cell Max's download and forcing him to disconnect with his higher intellect or something.
What previous form? This isnt the same cell as the one that came from the future its just based off the original cell but its a different one

@@AarturoSc Well yes, but it used cellular information from the old Cell, and the old Cell was able to pull information out from his DNA - he was able to name each of the characters he had DNA from, and acted as if he knew a lot about them, using knowledge about their personalities to manipulate them.
If CM was able to be completed and had intelligence, I wouldn't doubt he'd be able to do the same thing, and he'd also probably recognise that the previous Cell was his predecessor. He wouldn't have to identify as the same being, exactly, but it wouldn't be weird for him to acknowledge that they were at least directly related and connected.

Man, it's crazy how fast the scaling of the DBS fighters is still going up. Like at this point they're going to end up even leaving Whis and the other angels in the dust soon. The fact that Frieza Black was able to body both Goku and Vegeta in a single blow recently feels like they're all going to get to that point fairly soon.

I always love vids on cell’s potential, especially now with how much time has passed since the games. I know a lot of people won’t like my idea but it’s all good lol. I’d love a story with cell’s programming still around (a.I. or something they could write it however lol) and keeps building on all the fighters since to create an even more powerful version of cell with dna from more fighters like buu, jiren, hit, broly, even god ki and potential like UI, UE, gold/black, beast etc. and even have a machine that goes to the non cannon universes for cumber, cooler, Janemba, tapion, mechikabura, granolah, gas, morro, even pikkon lol (I mean they got a Time Machine, why not a universe hopper lol broly and gogeta were going through universes or some shit lol)
He could be an antagonist but not necessarily evil, just wanting to be the strongest and test his limits and then after that be an anti-hero coming around now and then. And if toriyama hates the spots just make the new form black, gold, green, and purple with no spots and you’d be set lol

There is actually a very good reason Cell was in a cylinder for decades. He was being educated over the course of decades. Perfect Cell MAX might have spent months in that cylinder so it makes sense that he had not developed a mind yet, regardless of what data he had.

The thing I hate about DBS power scaling is that they feel the need to always explain how strong a particular character is compared to another character. X can beat Y, X is 20% of Y’s powers etc. etc. It really just makes everyone seem like goalposts that will inevitably be surpassed and forgotten as times goes on. DBZ had this problem as well, but it’s way worse in Super IMO.
How would you do it? It's the only way that makes sense for the spectator IMO.
Roshi was atleast moon level back in Dragonball, Frieza made Namek implode in Z and that Frieza was not even close to Buu saga characters. You just can't compare power with day to day things anymore since characters are strong enough to damage dimensions which would happen when 2 GoDs fight for real and it slightly happens in Gogeta vs Broly while those 2 are not GoD level yet because GoD level is still not a fixed power level but a moving target

I love all the sound effect subtitles they kill me for some reason. I really wish we got a proper resurrection of Cell it would've been so cool to see him banter with piccolo and the rest plus with all this scaling I'm the fight would've been more hype.
I suspect Piccolo's growth over the 7 years started to top out and gave diminishing returns. Otherwise if he can go 150x in a few years he should definitely catch up to SS2.
Piccolo got 150x stronger in 3 yrs while training with Gohan and SSJ Goku in preparation for the Androids. Training with a goal in mind, training with a group and training with people stronger than you have all shown to boost power growth from training more than normal levels.
It’s likely Piccolo trained casually and alone throughout the 7 yrs. Gohan didn’t train much at all, let alone with Piccolo, so he didn’t get a training buff there. Piccolo likes to meditate alone to train plus there was no threat to prepare for after Cell.
What makes me think is the cell jr's on 17's island in the manga, were those that somehow survived gohans ssj2 attack.
How nobody noticed their power is one thing, but it makes me wonder if perfect cell actually died? Cell jr is as strong as cell but if they survived maybe cell survived but was so weak nobody noticed?
Plus whis mention of a stronger fighter after granolah arc and cell max coming out around the same time, makes me suspicious if they're connect.
Especially since we never saw cell actually dead outside of filler. We didn't see him slive though so it's all speculation.

I had the idea that when the OG Android and Cell Saga Cell comes back, the one still in hell, he too will have gone through his own events of growth and evolution both in power and as a person, a change like from the 'perfect life form/fighting being' to 'Absolute'. So this new Cell wud be Absolute Cell. Similar to prior Imperfect and Semi-Imperfect forms, this Cell too wud have two or one uncompleted forms, and when he does achieves true completion, he'll be Absolute Cell, or Cell Absolute, and maybe to hype even that up, he might have a Super Absolute Form Or an Ultra Absolute Form on top of that, cuz he's got the genome of all the main characters,n they all are inching closer to the pinnacle of ultimate warrior prowess, for the love of Mike - Frieza got a Gold form,then on top a Black form, Goku n Vegeta experienced Divine Ki and hence both r growing in their own directions vastly powerful than previous encounters,Piccolo got an orange form.... Making him outclass every single witnessed character in the verse to the extent that Whis and Beerus wud be allowed to interfere only cuz the Grand Priest feels that Absolute Cell's rampage might spill into other universes, hence to contain him, all wud have to come back... Dunno... Seems like a dope idea... This Absolute Cell being so powerful, again he'll host a universal bout coined not Cell Games but 'Absolute Wars' and instead of the main incentive being to threaten their lives, the incentive wud be something else completely.... I dunno, but I strongly believe this cud and WOULD be dopeass f if the writers implemented it, got the character designs dope and edgy, and made the writing deep and enthusiastic.
And this time, the key to actually complete the rest of his Semi-Absolute Form, won't be absorbing someone else, but having a taste of Divine Ki, either by absorbing or assimilating or experience a God's ki first hand or somethin... and a few more not-properly explained criterias which the heroes will be doing their bests to not let it be fullfilled, but still they'll eventually fall short again, n in the same sequence of history repeating itself, some prideful n powerful character wud let Cell complete that final criteria, and get wasted just as a showcase of the big bad which has arrived now
