No, Goku would injure the fuck out of krillin if he did that, but just because it isnt canon doesnt mean it couldnt happen. Just because that cell scene wasnt canon doesnt mean it couldnt happen, Even then, the technique isnt a oneshot. What if someone outspeeds the disc or cancels it out with a stronger attack? Or, if it cuts off a non vital area, i.e. Freezas tail getting cut off in his second form but he still lives.
Something you didn't mention, is after Killin fought Gohan, he fought Goku. He actually forced Goku to go Super Sayian. That's pretty impressive considering that even Frieza 4th form couldn't do that in Resurrection F until Frieza went Gold. In that sparing match, they do a classic beam struggle as well, with Goku in Blue form. Krillin actually managed to push Goku back a bit during that. Yes, Goku was holding back, but the fact that Krillin pushed it back at all is very impressive. Especially when you consider the power multipliers that Blue gives Goku.
A lot of people simply forget Krillin IS a master martial artist. Just because physically he's weaker than most things they fight, doesn't mean he doesn't have the fighting skill to fight higher tier opponents if he could close the gap. The fact he consistently at least holds his own despite this shows he's a force to be reckoned with.
Honestly, i would consider himnthe best turtle school student, while Goku can be a descent combat analyst, his own fighting style is actually pretty straight foward (Just raise yourstats bro), so most of his support techniques only exist because he needed a sepecific counter to his opponent, or were part of his trainig under another master, meanwhile Krillin, just like roshi, uses diverse techniques not as suplementary to his offensive, but as his main attack method, catching them off-guard and using burst of raw power just to finie 'em off
Krillin if he were properly followed up on in DBZ and allowed to use all of his frankly broken techs, would be an absolute menace to the villains in DBZ, GT and Super. Even if he doesn't necessarily punch as hard, he has a gang of support moves and the ability to outthink an opponent massively more powerful than him At least when the writers remember he has them.

I want to see more of the Z fighters training, because in every new arc they have somehow surpassed the last arcs big baddy in power, sometimes by a large margin! I know Z had very long timeskips between arcs but it still shocks me how much the humans grow in that time.

I think sometimes people forget krillin has been around a while and was a martial artist most of his life. He has a lot of combat experience and I like how super kinda shows off that strength alone isn't everything. Krillin might be a meme but honestly he is crazy strong and can easily be considered a martial arts master.
Krillin shoulda hooked up with Picolo to learn Hellzone Grenade and then he could do a hellzone-grenade destructo disc that comes from so many angles it's unavoidable.
We also gotta consider that, in the manga, the destructo disk can cut through anything. Cell tanking it and Gohan catching it are anime exclusive things and the only reason Krillin doesn’t just whip it out and slice Freeza’s head off is because it would end the story too quickly. It’s actually a super OP technique.
Jiren punched and broke through destructo disk. He also literally caught it and threw it right back. Cell tanking it makes sense considering how much larger the power gap is between perfect cell and krillin versus 2nd form frieza and krillin.

@Rafael Ferreira I don't think he can unlock godki like Goku and Vegeta did. He would have to have his potential unleashed by the Kais, and somehow make a form outta that like Gohan did, and then boost that up higher and higher like Gohan did with his mystic.

I have a theory that Perfect Cell was damaged by Krillin's Destructo Disk but he healed it immediately then destroyed it by striking it on the flat side at a speed that no one could see. So he could show-off/intimidate/test his new powers.
Up next we need a How Strong Is Hercule video, let’s not forget he tanked a full power smack from Perfect Cell and survives the landing impact from said smack. The durability has to be off the charts
Saitama's strength isnt quantifiable. His power is to be stronger than his opponent so no matter how strong Krillin is, Saitama will become stronger. Hes a joke character so let's stop comparing his strength to others. It's stupid. Krillin is awesome and humans need the spotlight now that saiyans are reduced to just taking turns representing all the colors of the rainbow with their transformations.
For the whole of Z Krillin has never been lagging too far behind at least Gohan or Piccolo. Even with the insane gains those two made in Super Hero, Krillin can still fight alongside them.
People who think Saitama would easily neg current DBS characters are severely confused. The DBS powercreep is very pervasive, and honestly hard to get at first, so I don't exactly blame them totally.
We just don’t have enough saitama to even say who would win. DB has been out since the 90’s or even earlier. OPM has been out for like 6 years we don’t know the extent of saitamas power we don’t know how strong he truly is he has yet to be really tested even in the manga

He can obliterate many millions of stars when he uses all of his strength. He would not have said that he wouldn't be holding back against Garou on Io, if he wasn't trying. Still, DBS powercreep puts Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the Z fighters so far above Saitama's attack potency, that it's not even close. So it's not even worth using his feets as a metric. Goku is easily multiversal.

SSj3 Goku was on a galactic level of power, going toe-to-toe with Buu, who could destroy galaxies, given enough time. (That's literally canon.) Goku has become so much more power now, though, that the powercreep scaling puts him far above any amount of stars in the observable universe. It straight up doesn't matter. He almost punched away the entire universe while trading blows with Beerus. The power output for that is countlessly more than any amount of stars in the Universe. It's not even close, dude.
This is what's awesome about Krillin, he has attacks that makes him more dangerous than his power level and ki could ever show since he has so many attacks that are actually dangerous and affects enemies indiscriminately.
Krillin and Roshi are true OGs (same with Bulma and sort of Yamcha), super under appreciated, especially by the people who haven’t read or watched original DB.

For one of the most deadly attacks, destructo disk sure does do a lot of non killing in the series, I wish we had at least one moment where Destructo disk actually lands and kills someone, because now it's like Vegeta's Full Power Final Flash, you literally have to stand still to get hit by it and even if it hits it never actually does anything significant.
@TyTy Mine, it's simple, easy. The other people in this reply section give Dragon Ball characters far too much credit. Saitama is inherently powerful and has no need to try to do anything. As I said before, right now, he could've obliterated both Boros and the Earth with a sneeze on accident. Meanwhile, characters like Krillin and Goku need to train and keep their guards up in order to stay on top or else they could, like you see in super get taken out or bruised by something as primitive as a hand gun or laser ring. They actively have to try to destroy planets and solar systems. Meanwhile, Saitama and Garou destroy galaxies and a visible chunk of the universe on accident, and Saitama just kept getting stronger than even that afterward. The base version of it was a mix of several continental beings and then it got an unknown amp that we basically have no info on the significance of. What we do know is that the Cataclysm was multi-continental, or destroying the whole earth's surface if we're being generous, and Nappa could do that much easier. This also depends on what Madara we're talking about. 10-Tails revived full power Madara (pre Kaguya) vs Nappa would probably be an interesting fight. Although, Goku and Vegeta here are far beyond planet level and they solo most of Naruto bar probably exactly post 10 tails level characters that also have hacks that they couldn't avoid.
I've always ranted passionately about how the most underrated aspect in dbz is krillen and Gohan on namek. Completely out of their league but they kept on going and fighting, with some sly dragon ball gathering as well. I really wish Dokkan would release an LR duo of them

Dragon Ball solar systems are apparently closer to nebulas of hundreds of thousands of stars which, if true, would mean that super perfect cell and SS2 Gohan are able to replicate Saitamas multi star destroying feat with a single attack rather than needing to connect it with another attack and squaring it.
This is krillin highballed , seth using anime only and movie feats that's something that rarely gets used to scale someone's power. Krillin is no joke but not this powerful
Destructor disc has constantly maintained relevancy, always making some sort of appearance in high level fights. Everyone freaking out when Gohan caught the discs against cell was a sign of that
even jiren tries to avoid it and nullify it so the destructor disc in quite consistent for taking down stronger opponents although it was goku who threw it.
The idea that Frieza and Cell could copy Krillin's techniques is interesting because most special attacks are just beams of raw Qi eg. Kamehameha, Galac gun etc. But Krillin's technique processes this Ki condensing it and spinning it to make have a rotating cutting property, as well as being able to be remotely controlled. It shows that he has a talent for manipulating Qi that can only be replicated by geniuses like Frieza and Cell Makes me wonder if there are more complex utilizations of Qi eg. performing actions like remaining dormant for a long time then detonating on a timer, using Qi to create clones made of energy etc. And I wonder if Krillin will fine-tune his Qi manipulation skills to a higher level that even Frieza and Cell would not be able to reach
Fun fact the 2 things you described already exist the hellzone grenade remains dormant till its activated and the multi form technique spits you into 4 clones of yourself and it very much is a ki based technique because krillin and piccolo were casually using it against nappa

Seth, I love your videos and your analysis is always very entertaining, but I have to say this. You realize the writers don’t assess their powers the way you do right? When piccolo destroys the moon in Saiyan saga, it’s all plot driven, not scaling power. It’s a show..it’s fun to see you do these calculations, but the writers don’t hold on to these numbers the way you think they do. It’s all plot driven, nothing has to make sense and sometimes it doesn’t. It is just fun to power scale but it truly makes no sense to attempt to if we’re being real lol.
We literally had a linear growth of power since og from super, that's not just for the plot or came out of nowhere: - Ogdb: moon, small planet - Saiyan saga: planet, multi planet, large planet - Frieza saga: Star, multi star - Cell saga: solar system, multi solar system - Buu saga: galaxy, multi galaxy, universal - B.O.G and R.O.F: low multiversal - U6 vs U7, black saga, T.O.P and dbs broly: 4D/surpassing time (goku vs hit, infinite zamasu, hit vs jiren, gogeta vs broly).
And toriyama literally made a power system at the start of dbz and said that he just abandoned due spoiling all the fights. That's why in the manga bardock in a flashback still says and uses the power levels the author made for db, but rn the characters don't use it just to not spoil the fights.

Always thought it was weird that krillin was considered stronger than Tein. If you watch dragon Ball you know that Tein was so far ahead of everybody from a technique standpoint and so driven that I could never imagine him falling behind any of the earthlings. A lot of krillin moves are taught to him by Tein. Maybe guru potential unlock made him get ahead but 10 head some King Kai training and I wish he would have learned the kaioken.... But Goku is two selfish to teach anybody anything or he could have teleported everyone back to the planet for more training.
Tien definitely should be stronger than krillin. Like you said, the ONLY saving grace krillin has is the fact that guru unlocked his potential, which may have helped him grow faster. But in the saiyan saga, tien is basically low diffing saibamen and has the best portrayal vs nappa outside of piccolo. He gets killed and trains with king kai, comes back and after another 3 years of training is capable of holding off imperfect cell while krillin is shitting his pants trying to get CLOSE enough to 18 (who is weaker than imperfect cell) to push a button. Fast forward 7 years and tien is training the WHOLE time while krillin stops fighting and becomes a family man. There's absolutely no reason krillin should be stronger than tien, I think toriyama just hates tien lol. Even after the buu saga krillin becomes a cop stopping everyday fodder while tien runs a dojo, still training. Yet krillin is portayed to be stronger in super, makes no sense. Jiren punched and broke through destructo disk. He also literally caught it and threw it right back. Cell tanking it makes sense considering how much larger the power gap is between perfect cell and krillin versus 2nd form frieza and krillin.

We just don’t have enough saitama to even say who would win. DB has been out since the 90’s or even earlier. OPM has been out for like 6 years we don’t know the extent of saitamas power we don’t know how strong he truly is he has yet to be really tested even in the manga

@TyTy Mine, it's simple, easy. The other people in this reply section give Dragon Ball characters far too much credit. Saitama is inherently powerful and has no need to try to do anything. As I said before, right now, he could've obliterated both Boros and the Earth with a sneeze on accident. Meanwhile, characters like Krillin and Goku need to train and keep their guards up in order to stay on top or else they could, like you see in super get taken out or bruised by something as primitive as a hand gun or laser ring. They actively have to try to destroy planets and solar systems. Meanwhile, Saitama and Garou destroy galaxies and a visible chunk of the universe on accident, and Saitama just kept getting stronger than even that afterward. This also depends on what Madara we're talking about. 10-Tails revived full power Madara (pre Kaguya) vs Nappa would probably be an interesting fight. Although, Goku and Vegeta here are far beyond planet level and they solo most of Naruto bar probably exactly post 10 tails level characters that also have hacks that they couldn't avoid.

Been waiting for a good Krilin scaling video for years, and now it's finally here.
Destructor disc has constantly maintained relevancy, always making some sort of appearance in high level fights. Everyone freaking out when Gohan caught the discs against cell was a sign of that
even jiren tries to avoid it and nullify it so the destructor disc in quite consistent for taking down stronger opponents although it was goku who threw it.
The idea that Frieza and Cell could copy Krillin's techniques is interesting because
most special attacks are just beams of raw Qi eg. Kamehameha, Galac gun etc. But Krillin's technique processes this Ki condensing it and spinning it to make have a rotating cutting property, as well as being able to be remotely controlled.
It shows that he has a talent for manipulating Qi that can only be replicated by geniuses like Frieza and Cell
Makes me wonder if there are more complex utilizations of Qi eg. performing actions like remaining dormant for a long time then detonating on a timer, using Qi to create clones made of energy etc. And I wonder if Krillin will fine-tune his Qi manipulation skills to a higher level that even Frieza and Cell would not be able to reach
Fun fact the 2 things you described already exist the hellzone grenade remains dormant till its activated and the multi form technique spits you into 4 clones of yourself and it very much is a ki based technique because krillin and piccolo were casually using it against nappa

We literally had a linear growth of power since og from super, that's not just for the plot or came out of nowhere:
- Ogdb: moon, small planet
- Saiyan saga: planet, multi planet, large planet
- Frieza saga: Star, multi star
- Cell saga: solar system, multi solar system
- Buu saga: galaxy, multi galaxy, universal
- B.O.G and R.O.F: low multiversal
- U6 vs U7, black saga, T.O.P and dbs broly: 4D/surpassing time (goku vs hit, infinite zamasu, hit vs jiren, gogeta vs broly).
And toriyama literally made a power system at the start of dbz and said that he just abandoned due spoiling all the fights. That's why in the manga bardock in a flashback still says and uses the power levels the author made for db, but rn the characters don't use it just to not spoil the fights.

Always thought it was weird that krillin was considered stronger than Tein. If you watch dragon Ball you know that Tein was so far ahead of everybody from a technique standpoint and so driven that I could never imagine him falling behind any of the earthlings. A lot of krillin moves are taught to him by Tein.
Maybe guru potential unlock made him get ahead but 10 head some King Kai training and I wish he would have learned the kaioken.... But Goku is two selfish to teach anybody anything or he could have teleported everyone back to the planet for more training.

Tien definitely should be stronger than krillin. Like you said, the ONLY saving grace krillin has is the fact that guru unlocked his potential, which may have helped him grow faster. But in the saiyan saga, tien is basically low diffing saibamen and has the best portrayal vs nappa outside of piccolo. He gets killed and trains with king kai, comes back and after another 3 years of training is capable of holding off imperfect cell while krillin is shitting his pants trying to get CLOSE enough to 18 (who is weaker than imperfect cell) to push a button. Fast forward 7 years and tien is training the WHOLE time while krillin stops fighting and becomes a family man. There's absolutely no reason krillin should be stronger than tien, I think toriyama just hates tien lol. Even after the buu saga krillin becomes a cop stopping everyday fodder while tien runs a dojo, still training. Yet krillin is portayed to be stronger in super, makes no sense. Tien definitely strongest earthling in my book lol
