  • You're watching the 30 foot version of Curse Buster tillage. The field is located in Bluffton, Indiana at Tri-Hard Farms located west of the city on SR 124. It is being pulled by 515 horses of Cat 865. Top speed is around 9 mph in these soils. Final seedbed in a single pass is two inches deep with plow-layer deep fracturing extending to more than 9 inches with the new Eagle Tine design and patent pending tandem frame design. Note the aggregates are on the surface and fine soil is where the seed is placed at the top of the capillary water column resulting from the Eagle tine action in front of the Phillips harrow modules uniquely crafted to reverse remotely from the tractor hydraulics.
