Now that looks like a great setup and having the ability to use an sd card for internal recording is nice.
Bro, I need this in my life. I do so much with AVX, and the zoom f6, but that 32-bit bloat on board, with global one band…. Seriously have to get it.
@@soundvisionmix Tell me what you think about it after you get it !
THIS is game-changing. Great work team!
This may be my first timecode enabled lav mic. Gonna need to see more demo/reviews.
It's not! Tentacle and many others have options. But this product is industry disrupting in many ways! Insane featureset for the price.
Just curious about hands-on reviews
I need.
I use a ton of your stuff for my production company now and it's amazing. Ya'll have made the creative process so much easier.
Stoked on this!
Wow, nicely done. This sounds really promising.
buying the kit soon, thanks deity!
Great piece of work!!! 👍
Great job Andrew & Team!
Was cool seeing these at KOBA! and nice to see Korea featured in the launch video! :)
Very interested in these!
More Korea is being shown in another video on Tuesday
Now this would be a wonderful system to try / Review and likely use for pro production on the go... I tested many systems on my studio channel. Hopefully one day we can get big enough, for now it looks like a real winner Deity.
Well done deity 😎 Always further🎉
Great that you made the switch to UHF, that's a huge step up from the crowded 2.4 GHz band
So eXciteD!!! finally 32 bit float recording on a wireless transmitter. FINALLY!!!
Can’t wait ❤
So excited for this. I hope shipping comes early!
I’m looking forward to seeing these shipping!
Timecode and 32 bit float are what are lacking from DJI, Rode, and Sennheiser! Nice work Deity!
we try
How come the US version does not transmit and record simultaneously?@@DeityMicrophones
@@louisstudios patent law
Not any more lmao
@@louisstudios Where did you find the information about US version not being able to transmit and record simultaneously?
Looks amazing! Have had my eye on these since they were announced. Will wait for Curtis Judd to weigh in on them though... Want to make sure they'll do what the ad says 🙂
Same. I wait until Curtis weighs in and then happily salute to his recommendations
Are you planning to do cube transmitter for handled microphones for this system? I have 2 HD-TX and definitely need something similar for this one☝️
One is in the works and it will be far less "cube" than the HD-TX.
@@DeityMicrophones It's great to hear♥️
Hopefully it won't look childish, either; that cube shape has had purpose in professional ENG rigs for a) battery power (likely improved these days), and b) weight balancing, especially with a short shotgun or long-handle ENG dynamic.
Also, any heads up about launch would be swell so I can get the most selling my Deity 2.4 gear. :-)
Bravo 👏👏👏👏
Sidus app looks dope. Does this still allow for monitoring and onboard 32-bit simultaneous recording ?
These look great. Nice job Deity!
Thank you! 😁
oh man i can not wait to get these i hope so much they have no deal breaker
Damn, while I've gotten used the size factor of the DJI Mics, Lark etc... this thing is stacked! Can't wait!
Thank you
Dope, especially with the internal 32 bit float recorder, 128gb microSD and the included mic.
if U live in the US, the internal 32 bit recording cannot be used at the same time the unit is transmitting
I've been waiting for this since it was announced. Just to be clear, on board backup recording does (or does not) work while monitoring audio? If not, I may need to find a way to get the non-US version.
I pre-ordered a set the moment it was available to do so.
This is the product I've been waiting for, when does it ship?
Making waves!!!
Does this System Work with the DPA 6061?
My Deity connect allways had issues due to the different DC Voltage Biases of the Connect and the Lav.
I read "Mic 3V, Mic 5V, Line" on the product page, is that referring to the voltage Bias, or is that some form of PlugIn Power...?
If this System worked with my DPAs I’d immediately buy three!! 😎
Congrats @DeityMicrophones for this amazing product. Could be what I have been waiting for years.
Waiting ❤
yes please!
Hey guys, do you have test model in Europe to send for a review? I am really excited to put my hands on this devices!
Close to perfect for us.
WHEN IS IT COMING?
Wow!!
awesome..is it has 48v phantom power?
@DietyMicrophones I just noticed that B&H has the operating temperature listed as only 20-45C. Is this a typo? If not, it seems this system won't be any good for outdoor use. Any tests to the contrary?
By looking at overall view of this ecosystem, Is there going to be something like A20 nexus for Deity? it would be a no brainer
whens the PR2 coming
I believe there is more upcoming good product by Deity in future
Question: if I buy the US unit, will it work when I travel to say Japan and the UAE? I.e. globaloneband technology will allow me to select allowable frequencies in Japan etc when I am there?
Awesome Product. Can the EU Version record internally to the micro SD card and at the same time transmit the Audio to the Receiver?
yes
When will it ship?
What's the smart battery holder at 3:09?
what about microphone compatibility?? Does It match with sennheiser circuit?
Can it send timecode to the camera like from TC-1, not just jam it but use as a timecode generator?
will it work fine with my D3 Pro? what about interferences
Will this work with shure twin plex tl48 lavalier mics that are mdot connection ?
when it will be avbl in india
🙌🏽
Would a handful of the receivers + 1 transmitter make for a solid IFB/ camera hop system? The BP-TRX were great for that
It would. And because it's a dual-channel receiver, you could have 2 transmitters and send different feeds.
@@DeityMicrophones amazing; Can’t wait to try these out. My bag mixers are about to get a whole lot lighter.
I need the PR2's y'all.
The Deity TC-1 doesn't seem to have Word Clock, does it drift?
PLEASE add a timebar app like Tentacle Timebar so GoPros with Labs firmware can take advantage of timecode with the Deity Ecosystem!
GoPro Labs firmware now accepts LTC via the 3.5mm mic jack, plus it won't drift if you hardwire it. deitymic.com/blog/how-to-setup-timecode-on-gopro-cameras/
@@DeityMicrophones that won't work for the Max 360 at all (no 3.5 jack) plus it requires the media mod which adds weight and loses waterproofness on the other models. Is there any reason you won't implement a software solution?
😊soon will be mine
Does the backup recording feature work in the US? I read on Newsshooter that this feature would only work outside of the US, but this wasn’t mentioned in the video.
that restriction is mentioned in the video in the small text when they speak of the feature
Can you use rechargeable batteries and then charge them with usb c?
I pre-ordered. What kind of AA batteries does the receiver take? and the transmitters? standard, nickel, akaline or ...?
Yes. :-)
We have battery meter presets for all the normal types. We even sell Deity branded lithium batteries.
I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay...I'm not okay. I NEED THESE.
The timecoding is just incredible.
Does the new receiver support connection to "old" transmitters such as the Deity Connect Interview Kit and the little Deity Pocket Wireless "clothespins"?
No. Those systems worked on a 2.4G spectrum. The new THEOS ecosystem works in the UHF spectrum band.
@@DeityMicrophones Are there plans to release a plug-on for XLR mics with 48 volt phantom power in the THEOS ecosystem? Also, will there be small transmitters like in the deity pocket series?
Can the transmitters take a stereo source (stereo microphone or concert board feed) and transmit the stereo audio? I shoot a lot of concerts and would like a wireless solution to record a stereo board feed without have an audio recorder at the soundboard. The wireless gear I have now doesn't allow me to record in stereo.
It does not. But you could wire both transmitters to transmit left and right with the receiver paired to both
Great features , but how come you didn’t mention the two most important things IMO . Delay and self noise ??
Both are mentioned on the product page. deitymic.com/products/theos-digital-wireless/
6.3ms and the recorder has an EIN: -132dBV (-130dBu)
Create a battery eliminator for the TX for use as camera hop in a bag.
the DBTX already supports USB-C Power Delivery
I gotta have this kit -- $1090 price point? @Diety when is the release date?
Pre-orders are open now. Shipping will be in the month or two.
I want it.
are the Deity batteries rechargeable?
They are single use. But the DBTX and D2RX support NiMH rechargeable and have a battery setting for them.
2:34 DJI MIC in set )))
Did Deity get past the patent that prevents them from both recording and transmitting at the same time in the US versions?
Apparently not. Another commenter pointed out the disclaimer at 2:42
Price?
I just need to know when are they really shipping? That’s the real question take my money
Nvm I see October 🤦🏽♂️
Can the RX output timecode via one of the outputs? So one for stereo audio and the other for timecode? Or will we still need to have a TC-1 on the camera to have it all work with TC?
Would love to know as well, wether or not we need another dedicated TC device or not.
I asked on another video and they said no, looks like the Rode Wireless Pro beats this. strange they didn't think people might want less things on their camera and have the forethought to integrate a TC clock into this@@unihumi
Hypothetically, if one was to purchase a Theos in Canada and drive it to the US for use would it be able to simultaneously record 32bit and transmit?
Hypothetically… yes
As soon as you open the app it will geotag you, which is great for automatic frequeuncy selection according to the region you're in. But it will also disable simultaneous internal recording + transmission.
@@frameshockproductions good to know, ty!
will they have battery packs? I hate the idea of using AA batteries. Also, will they come with another mount? That's the only thing stopping me from buying these, the new Sennheiser mount is great!
AA much better. You can buy some from store in a pinch. Proprietary you’re screwed
Only USB-C power or AA batteries. I don't know anything about a new mount from Germany but we developed our own cold shoe mount that slides in and slides out super easy without pinching your fingers.
@@DeityMicrophones Just not a fan of AA batteries, but at least you have a mount! I just pre-ordered, may make a review.
@@officialmultimedia8107 that is exactly what I don't like, I'd rather invest in 2-3 good proprietary batteries. Much easier to stay organized, more reliable and ecological and cheaper in the long run.
Look out Sennheiser G4, there’s a new Sheriff in town.
does it recrods and transmits?
Yes, except US
Niceee, Just asking, can it work well in all parts of Uganda. Coz if it does, it's what am gonna buy
Sure. Why wouldn't it?
Can Recording and Transmitting can happen simultanously?
Outside of the US I believe so.
@@MintMacelodeon Amazing, it doesn't clarify so was wondeirng if they had Canada/UK firmware for this use.
I believe it will work even within the US, they use to have rights issues, but think that was resolved 👍🏽
@@nickobergshow Interesting. Their online store says "The transmitter features a built-in recorder* for alternative use" for the (US) version of the product. So this might mean Can/UK dealers might sell a non US version with simulatanous recording. Not unlike Sound Devies products coming from the UK.
Not in the US. It's a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen at 2:42.
Soooo, it is still not clear: does TX transmit AND record at the same time?
Not in the US. It's a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen at 2:42.
@@DavidKhabinsky ok, then it’s fine)
@@DavidKhabinsky so why is it? Do you know the reason?
@Krakenborn Zaxcom patent. Apparently expires in 2025, so let's see if they let us record and transmit then.
Yes, I want to purchase This,,,, ❤ in India🇮🇳,,, when it'll be available in Indian market,,,,🇮🇳 yes / no
It should be available in the next few months. Reach out to www.tiyana.in/brand/deity - Phone - 088282 66102
Equipment looks great.
But the music is too loud and the VO popped some P's.
Is this replacing the BP-TRX? Please don't come at me comment section. I am legit wondering.
Technically yes, technically no. The BP-TRX has been discontinued for 1 year so in that regard this is a replacement for that. But the BP-TRX still has features that the new THEOS ecosystem does not have.
@@DeityMicrophonescan you expand on that please? What features is THEOS missing, and will they possibly come in future firmware?
@@DamienPeden the BP-TRX is a transceiver, it can be anything. In the world of UHF, things can only be 1 thing, a transmitter OR a receiver. The BP-TRX in the US can transmit and record. US sold THEOS kits can not do both at the same time, and that wont be coming in firmware.
Thank you@@DeityMicrophones for the replies. I use your stuff all the time for my wedding films.
Should you be using a wireless mic or RF mic?
ua-cam.com/video/-hvilUZcaxo/v-deo.html
The antennas look weak
You can always replace them with another brand or even an antenna disto.
plot twist: it costs an arm and a leg.
Only $1090 for a 2 channel kit
nope, not based on what U are getting
Masking at 0:55 not successful.
