- A run of Ocarina of Time by Mubbsy that completes all dungeons while only pausing once.
This is a Low Optimization Tool-Assisted Demonstration [LOTAD], meaning it was created on an emulator using slowdown and savestates in order to pull off tricks that would normally be too difficult for a human, but does not necessarily aim for maximum possible optimization.

Id says it less awkward and just more curt. They are focused on the run and then just come in to explain certain technical things instead of having a fluffed conversation in between tricks.

Spirit Hover Finishes At 46:22
The lore here is actually pretty interesting: link leaves the deku tree to die, sheik is older than link and separate from zelda, there are 2 different rutos, and link fights ganondorf at the forest temple before finishing ganon at the castle

The guay hover starts at 26:33 and ends at 46:22 if you want to skip ahead. The pause is at 1:44:03. This run is pretty amazing. I always wonder how people are able to find these glitches.
Most glitches are found with a combination of design knowledge (ie: knowing how devs typically build the environment) and having something randomly happen that you try to replicate. After that it's just finding the most efficient way to reproduce the effects and you end up with runs like this.

1:24:15 -- yknow, when OoT first came out, it gave me my first legitimate Nightmare, hearing those Moblins roar, and then suddenly they charge you from around the corner, and youre stuck on their spear (also, i was like 6 back in 1998)...so between these Maze-Moblins, and the "first-person" sections from Jurassic Park on SNES, games used to actually scare the crap out of me...
...now, twenty-something years later, and these Moblins are just straight-up Ignored, like a Skullwalltula on a wall that youre not even climbing on...just a "hi Bob, bye Bob" and already on to the next area...really takes the wind out of the sails, yknow?
(and yes, i sometimes call the Moblins 'Bob', and yes, Bob is short for "Boblin" xD)

Of all of the pauses I thought we would get rid of for the minimum pause runs, I NEVER would of thought it would be the Lost Woods escape! This is incredible!

I’m not sure the last video he did was about getting the classic theme on win 8. I was on his discord server but afaik it doesn’t exist anymore I remember joining it after the sunshine series started and used to ask him a lot about a bk series. He said he’s planning on doing it but yea :/ not sure if he’ll come back

good video, i watched the whole thing, very good job! when "no doors, all dungeons in 1 pause", just kidding! :P
So i was kinda curious to know how many seconds did the TAS save for the bottle with the cuccos since they were talking about how long it took to do that section of the TAS. So I checked zfg's WR and i'm pretty sure he's faster by 1 sec lol (1min55sec against 1min56sec in the TAS)
In ZFG's wr he has the sword so he can slash the chicken (after jumping down from up by the windmill) it starts them running towards the coop earlier. In the LOTAD Mubbsy had to wait almost 3 seconds for the cucco to run away and then he had to walk slowly back to the coop so he didn't get ahead of the cucco. The time he got wasn't perfect, it is a LOTAD after all, but I'd say it would have been 3-5 seconds faster than ZFG's wr if he could have used the sword and the rest of the movement was the same.

so about 11:00 minutes into the run, a completely Item-less Link is sidehopping through what should be one of the last few areas to explore (even as an Adult)...but i love how Navi still 'Hey!'s every once in a while, probly to tell you about some Old Tree that wants to talk to you or something...sorry, Navi, too busy beating Ganondorf; lets not waste time with Ganondorf's Curse on DT...Gohma will just starve herself to death (i mean, besides her nearly-endless supply of eggs, its not like theres any Food in her lair...)
You're not allowed to use setups in TAS because it looks a lot cooler + it tends to be faster

I don't think so, since afaik spirit needs mirror shield
the biggest thing that makes that impossible is, as the other commenter said, equipping spirit shield is impossible as child (without cheats) and thus you cannot beat spirit temple
So if the 0 pause escape saves 1 pause from pretty much every low pause category, when can we expect a 2 pause Hundo LOTAD? ;P

I'm sad that chat's not in this, it's going to be deleted from the Twitch VOD in a few months. My favorite way to watch these LOTADs is with Twitch chat just to see the reactions. Watching these in the future, it won't be the same.
Its a highlight not a past broadcast, it wont be deleted. And I don't like uploading these with chat since the focus is meant to be on the run itself.
@@ZFG I checked the 100% 3 Pause LOTAD on your Twitch highlights page and chat replay is missing from that. It seems like highlights older than that don't have their chat anymore. Right now, your 4:18:29 wr is the oldest highlight with chat replay still on it.
@@SeedyZ That's because chat replay didn't exist yet. It was introduced in March 2016, and 3 pause was from February 2016.
