Most talented metal band I've ever heard. If they played in the 80-90's when metal was in it's heyday they would be in the top 3-4 bands. Their 2 guitarists (Midori & Miyako) really have no peer as a duo.

One of Lovebites songs on the thrash side. The bands you mentioned, all great, but Lovebites for me takes it up a notch from them. Lovebites are the Metal Queens 👑. Info on Lovebites - Lovebites was formed in Tokyo in 2016 by bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. The two met while members of Destrose, another all-female metal band that disbanded in 2015. They got their name from Halstorm's song Love Bites (And So Do I). Miho left the band in August 2021. After a search and auditions, Fami, who had her own UA-cam channel, was chosen as Lovebites new bass player. Asami before being in Lovebites was an R&B singer. Miyako played piano since age 3 and started playing guitar at age 18 is self taught. Midori was previously in the all-female band Gekijo Metalicche from 2013 to 2016. Midori began weight training in November 2021 during a hiatus in Lovebites' activities, and has since earned two silver medals in fitness competitions.
When this live video was uploaded, fans were talking about which movie's theme song would be appropriate. Currently, LOVEBITES has only one tie-in song, "Winds Of Transylvania," the opening song for the animated TV series "VLADLOVE."

Lovebites dropped 3 new videos recently on their official YT channel. 2 of them ("We are the Resurrection" and "Rising") are from their new LIVE album "Memorial for the Warrior Souls", and 1 new song/MV ("Unchained") from their latest EP "Lovebites EP II". Both the LIVE LP and the EP will be released on the same day on August 28.
As a Metal-er (NOT a 'metalhead') who first heard Heavy Metal in the mid-80's when I was in Junior High, I can HONESTLY say that Lovebites would have been EASILY in the Top 10 Metal band list even in the early 80's to mid-90's when Heavy Metal was at it's HEIGHT. The best way to describe their pure talent using only two of the ladies is essentially this: Miyako casually and nonchalantly shredding BETTER than MOST of the male so-called 'Metal guitarists' nowadays, sees that they are exhausted, and basically says with a nonchalant expression: "that was hard for you? For me, it was just a Tuesday". Meanwhile Haruna (sometimes referred to as the 'Pocket Nuke') is being an absolute BEAST on drums as usual, just smiling and making it look effortless. She sees the male so-called 'Metal drummers' nowadays, and her calm smiling expression essentially says: "wait, that was actually hard for you? It was basically a warmup for me". Enough said.
It's not particularly contraversial in my opinion. I'm convinced that LOVEBITES *are* the most talented metal band to appear in the last 20 years. I think currently they are in the top three (in terms of pure musicianship), alongside Dream Theater and Symphony-X. Also, Asami has often been described as a female Bruce Dickinson, due to her clean vocals with a lot of vibrato, so I agree with your comments regarding her singing.

They are always great especially LIVE. There is no genre that these musicians can't excel at! The M&M show in all its glory, no one harmonizes, trades off and battles like Miyako and Midori. BTW Miyako was 4/5 months pregnant at this time and played guitar, piano, synth and keytar. This was a COVID venue and while dead (clapping only) nonetheless the ladies still brought the venue to the ground!!!
AND: if you take a look at all their lyrics you'll find generally positiveness !! They're playing kind of "precious" or "white" or "happy" metal - inspiring, uplifting, constructive . . . in the end a real notable contribution to save the world from Dystopie . . .

It'd be ok, imo, if even you two were still in the screen and had video above you in the middle. Some people gripe about having the reactors full screen and bands in smaller screen in the corner, but that would even be ok with me. This is just a suggestion, nothing to be taken personally.
