Hey everyone! We are BACK! We took some time off for the holidays! We are in the shop TODAY and will be hitting it hard over the next few months to get Victor's Cadillac to him and get the minitrike out the door. Ian has plans to bring an old favorite that we started this channel with LITTLE JEWEL, with a bit of a different design. We missed all of you! We also have a new FB group that is run by us and is private. We are TIRED of the scammers. facebook.com/groups/1120180179697223/. We each only have one FB account with Blue Checks and this is the ONLY page we have on FB. We also have a new t-shirt/merch design coming out!!! So much exciting stuff for the new year! We also are safe from the fires and our hearts go out to those that lost their homes. So much happening! See you again this week! ~ The Roussel's
Great to see you back! Anyone else see the little green orb?? At about 3:55, when Ian was talking about the exhaust manifold. Did you do that Jamie ? Aliens!
I ask myself why do I click the like button before I watch the episode. My answer to myself is every episode of Full Custom Ian is worth watching. I would also like to say is Jamie from the very beginning somehow goes to exactly where Ian is talking about. She also ask very good questions.
Luckily no, it is quite windy today with winds coming up the canyon out of the East. We are further up near Bakersfield. We are moving the camper to the shop tomorrow, just in case. We have a plan in place for evacuation as well. We are deeply saddened by these fires.
@@fullcustomIan Like we used to say when I worked in TV production, especially live TV, "There's no such thing as a hero, that's just someone with a damn good back-up plan."
Years ago, I put a 302 from a car into a pickup. I had the same problem. What i learned was the car manifolds dumped out the back straight into the firewall, were the truck manifolds dumped more down. This info might have helped before you had to cut up your work.
Always a shock when you come home.........can 't wander down to the beach and sit in the cabana chair sipping on a Hawaiian Sunset.....I'm so glad you had a safe trip. It's always educational and entertaining watching Ian work.
Thank you! We will have a week full of stuff coming at you including possibly a live. We are just finding the flow this week. Stay safe and stay warm. ~. Jamie
12 minutes dang, that was like when a friend pulls into your drive, you get all excited, and they say, ''i can't stay long and can i borrow your law mower.''
LOL sorry about that. I just finished it and really wanted to connect with the community. We are in the shop all week, so lots of new stuff coming out. Thank you for watching ~ Jamie

Alright! I just woke up and there is a new Ian Roussel episode. Happy New Year Ian and Jamie.🍻👍❤️🇦🇺 I love my grinder with the cutting wheel on. Cut away my man!
Hi Jamie and Ian hope you all are having a great day and hope the smoke is not bothering you. Ian you are the man with the smile and seems like you enjoy what you are doing. Good are bad you always manage to joke and smile at what you are doing and that makes me feel better. God bless and have a blessed evening and night

Glad to see you guys back I truly enjoy watching such a creative mind in function. Hope you guys enjoyed your Honeymoon. Stay safe from the fires I don’t know if you’re close or not. Good luck and stay safe.
Welcome back! Hope the holidays were a joyful one! Yaaay! The Zephyr is getting closer to completion. This is easily my fave project. Can't wait to see it finished!
Looked like you visited the Big Island. My wifes family is from Hilo. Spent alot of time hiking and spending time at local sites. Good place. Bet the shop inspectors were glad to see you 👍
Welcome back and I hope you are safe from the fires out there. Just a thought when you put the exhaust manifolds in for good, maybe take out the spark plugs it should be easier. Thanks for sharing with us. Much ❤from Lansdale PA.
It's too bad those manifolds aren't like some, where you can swap the left to the right side etc. so the outlets dump down in front of the engine and then loop rearward, or enable turbos to be added.
Could u change the manifold pipes . Put them forward. Switch sides . Have done it on one of my dodge builds . That put the exhaust coming down in the front instead of the back. Just a thought .
Ian, crank up the air on the plasma cutter. You will get way cleaner cuts. You'll love it better than a cut wheel. I had a really sweet one a few years back. Had to sell it for fast cash back then,(the economy back then)that really sucked. Looking to buy a new one this spring. I didnt use it often but when I did it saved so much time and clean up.
I had a 1976 Cobra II and you're right those stock manifolds are some tight, compact little suckers! And stylistically, not that that really matters, they're swoopy and the lines compliment the Zephyr better.
The horse has left the barn, but did you condsider swapping the manifolds side for side putting the outlets forward and then done under the car. You could have also put them down side up.
@fullcustomIan when I saw the video I thought it was a live at first. Then realized that it wasn't. I love what you guys are doing though, it inspires me to work on my 1951 pilothouse dodge after I beat my cancer

Great video, Ian. I notice that the steering column isn't in yet and wonder what kind of interference that might introduce to the headers, etc. Just wondering....
Its confusing that you use "Plasma Cutter ASMR" in the title, but there is music playing over the plasma cutting??? Huh? Great episode by the way, you guys are cruising to 200k!

Some you can swap sides so the exhaust goes forward a little and loops back, not sure on Fords though.

Great video, Ian. I notice that the steering column isn't in yet and wonder what kind of interference that might introduce to the headers, etc. Just wondering....
Dang that is a bummer, but I guess it was a fairly easy fix.
I get you want more floor space. So, why not put the manifolds on backwards like the old Y blocks did?
They make a block hugger header with a center drop exhaust. Might work better for you, but you do.
Its confusing that you use "Plasma Cutter ASMR" in the title, but there is music playing over the plasma cutting??? Huh? Great episode by the way, you guys are cruising to 200k!
The music is just background, but I think the sounds of the plasma cutter are ASMR!
Have you considered shorty center drop headers
If the engine can't go forward to accommodate the exhaust, move the foot well and dash back.
Would the left manifold go on the right and vice versa run the pipe forward then back?
