Why can't it be simple. Plug and tranfer. This is total BS
Garbage phone
I fully agree what was a joyus day with new phones getting rid of 9 year old but trusty Android S7 Edges turned into a Grade A nightmare read my earlier post I could kill them (Tefal Men from the 80s)
I wouldn't want anyone to just be able to plug and transfer all my data if they got a hold of my phone.
The reason they've included those additional step, most of which require a security prompt at some point, is to protect the users.
I'd rather spend an extra 5minutes doing this everytime (and I do it quiet often) than having data stolen that poses a potential risk to me or a clients security posture.
One case of stolen identity would cause more havoc than having to take these extra precautions once a year, every year, over someone's entire lifetime.
Very Good howto
