For "Le Deuxième Souffle", you put a wrong image, the picture we see is from the remake of 2007 made by Corneau, although Mr. Macron is talking about the original movie, made by Melville in 1966 (you were correct on the year), with Lino Ventura and Paul Meurisse. Very good movie by the way, I recommend it too.

Meaning they charge rich people tons of money to buy goods in France Tons of tourism One of the top 5 largest arms dealer nations on earth But too frugal to provide atheletes good conditions to sleep and recover and perform Which makes the rich nations at an advantage by going to hotels (while also making them more money by forcing rich nations to spend).
