@@Jess-Rabbit This delusion of grandeur always seems to happen to poor Darren Star. He takes actors from completely invisibly to global star and they start biting the hand that feeds them 😂
that's the fun and truth about the show LOL. you can really enjoy it because it is a way of escapism. not everyone will enjoy it but it is still something to look forward too!! all the cast members are amazing and getting better each season!
@thatgirl9532 yeah but he can't do other series for example. Usually these contracts are really tight to ensure all the actors are available at the time of shooting, meaning that if an amazing opportunity comes by he can't take it because he is tied to the filming schedule of Emily in Paris. A lot of actors talk about this and for some it's even a reason not to take on roles because they would be tied to a project for too long.
@@lidewijvos Guess you’re wrong about that since he has a few films being released 3 this year & 1 in post production, they literally shoot Emily in Paris episodes at the same time as they write them, they shoot episodes out of order so technically the writing/filming happens at the same time… and they won’t be shooting new episodes till probably the middle of next year I’d suggest doing some online research
People, try to understand Lucas. It's not that he hates the show or has beef with any of his teammates. He just doesn't wanna be stuck in a show for 8 or 10 seasons to only be known and remembered as "Hot chef Gabriel". He is being sarcastic and if he was so done with the show, he would've quit already, but this is a great opportunity for him to be known and get more job opportunities outside of France. He's also a model. Don't hate him so much for not wanting to be forever on the show. He's still doing a great job and I'm sure he gets along with most of his teammates
Professionalism is required in this business and he fails in this interview. He thought he would be the star of the show but unfortunately Lucien came and broke the bank, the audience immediately bought the character of Alfie and Lucien with his charisma
@@Freerids I don't see anything unprofessional in this interview; all I see is an honest actor who wants to play diverse roles and there's nothing wrong in that. Maybe the producer's idea was that he was the star of the show and not Luca's. You can clearly see that it was not his idea because he lets his hair grow and leaves hot chef Gabriel behind to be Lucas Bravo. I think Lucien is a great actor, but I didn't like how pushy he was because it was clear that she didn't love him the same way he did so he tried to "have a girlfriend" even when everyone could see Emily was in love with Gabriel.
@@priscillariveramatus250 Lucas's tone and form of expression are inappropriate. Moreover, in many interviews it is clear that Lucas is not very liked by other actors, it is visible in subtle interactions. In this interview, Lucas showed that he is conceited and thinks that this is his show, unfortunately he is not the star here and he should stop complaining and start enriching his character himself. Lucien is able to add something of himself in the character of Alfie, but Lucas cannot
@@Freerids I just read an interview of Lucas saying he is an introvert so playing Gabriel has been a challenge for him because he is not very confident and he likes to play characters that are more deep and not the main character one, so for him this might be awkward because he is not as confident as Gabriel. He thinks that Gabriel's character was a little plain and shallow in the first three seasons, but now he showed that Gabriel was tired of trying to understand Emily and she didn't learned the french language. I still think that he didn't wanna be the star of the show and that the producers tried to do this because he is good looking, but Lucas Bravo doesn't wanna be known just for his looks. Anyway, this is where I say goodbye and have a nice day. I'm putting an end to this argument because I do like Gabriel's character and I'm sure not all teammates get along and that's fine because at the end of the day what really matters is to make a good tv show
I feel like Lucas is just being a typical French guy. Americans are always bubbly and optimistic but the French are more sarcastic and likes to complain. Don’t necessarily think he was being rude
I just watched the second part and I really love it. Emily in Italy is so much better. Marcello is much better than Gabriel and she has more chemistry with Marcello like literally much more. And Mindy singing this beautiful song I almost cried
I love Gabriel, but dude is falling off the tracks. Hard.. Idk why they have that relationship with Emily always falling apart. Like are they or aren’t they? It’s annoying 😅 But when I saw Marcelo, I fell in love. He’s what any woman would want. The actor is talented too. I don’t like the new character Emily’s manipulative twin I call her.. she’s trouble for sure
Let’s face it. I doubt Gabriel would ever leave gorgeous, lovely, nice French girl Camille who he’s been in a relationship for 5 years, for American tiny little girl Emily! Right from the start it’s unrealistic. Like yeah - ok. Yes …TV! We need more Alfie. Miss him. But he’s out of the triangle & good that he’s happy.
Exactly what I thought - Emily even does not try speaking French nor learn, and whole French office speaks (even the clients) in English only for her. How ridiculous
Camille’s answers were great & Ashley saying Marvel Cinematic Universe instead of MCU made me giggle. I never loved all the cast members in a show in quite some time, very refreshing 😊 I think Bruno’s my favorite though ❤
I like Camille but why did they make her so unlikable this season? Hopefully she will still have a part in season 5 and she deserve good things for her character ❤
Lucas, who plays Gabriel’s character, reminds me of those actors who start acting like a show is beneath them. So they leave and learn the hard way that they aren’t the universal star. They thought they were, so they have to swallow their pride and come back to that show.
Yes, he actually reminds me of the actor who plays Dan in Gossip Girl. He always talks trash about the show, but the truth is, without GG, he wouldn’t have become famous that fast.
