Hi, Just wondering how much this entire conversion cost you? What engine mounts were used, hubs, discs.. pretty much everything. Would love to do this to my ep70 starlet. If you write back it'd be greatly appreciated :L

Skylines have lag there turbo doesnt kick in until 3500rpm, so u can see why the starlet had it on the corners still seemed a quick skyline low. Supra's different one turbo kicks in at 1500rpm n the other higher up n with the vvti included it had 0 lag power from 1200rpm.
@BKamron hahaha the nimble starlet capatilized, not on a mistake, but the skylines heavy weight and need for earlier braking. also the starlet is n/a and that whizzing noise your hearing and thinking that is turbo noise is most very probably a sequential gearbox (with straight cut gears)
yeah ! i love toyota too ! but i will buy me the Corolla 1.8TS 1.8 with 192hp in german ! thats very sick ! only 1.8ccm 2.0Vtec had just 205hp on Civic type-R i´m think im not a Honda-man ... im just a Toyota-guy ( Supra i like so much when i was younger , then i like "Verossa" JZX110 Hibino-style when i stay in germany i drife Corolla TS ^^
Have been searching for this vid since we had at the Club-K stand a few years back. Wicked driving Jim and man that motor sounds amazing. Hope to have mine back on the track on the coming months. Andy C
thats some mighty fine driving from the startlet. I've got a blacktop 20v 4age and i must say i never expected a little 1.6L to pull so FUCKING hard. it can and will out-run some turbo's (small ones lol) gonna have to head down to timaru now ^^
I love Toyota too especially the Blacktop Engine I have one in an AE111 Levin but it seems as though the Skyline has better acceleration (0:22) and that pass the Starlet made was clearly the driver capitalizing off a mistake by the Skyline - he entered the turn a little too wide and he allowed the starlet in without forcing himself in on the starlet (1:09). The Starlet is smaller P:W should be better since the starlet is turboed (which it sounds that way) it would also love those tight turns
Great car, great race....can you give me an idea of the spec on that engine, i wanna build one like that.....the skyline had great straight line speed but the starlet did well on the corners & did a great job to stay behind on the straightaway
hehe ^^ yeah ! on this course turbo can bring the advantage (no slow corners, "where engine can lag boost") and driver is very good too ! i must seeing the video one more , when the skyline get´s chased and then bombed away with bether drife-line, sweet redline racing ( how much ??? 9000???) and very late braking this video is mental
@panoulis20 3S-GE's are pretty shit mate, get a 4A-GE, the Formula Atlantic like this guy's running costs a bomb, but is a beautiful piece of engineering. Look for a 4A-GZE, or a 20v of some kind(I like Silvertops, stronger, and only a little less power). My 4A-GTE 20v is almost done, except the oil pump shit the bed the other day, loading it onto the trailer to take it for a tune! VVT will give you better torque than a non-VVT 4A-GE I reckon. Can't go wrong with a 20v, or a modded GZE. Cheers.

@barathrum3 This video the car was running 48mm Carbs, I have now changed to TRD injection and it makes more power.
