I'll have to agree with the comments here, fast fowarding the video is not a good option. Giving the option to the viewer is always best. Either they skip or u can put marks on the video where you think is boring and people should skip. Of course if people skip that means less time people will see of it, and that generaly is not good on youtube. But a side that it was a good video, been following for the past month and have not miss one... so keep the good work
With this car you really need to rev it. I think it has a motorbike based engine so 10k rpm is normaly. I tried changing early and it just wont pull the gear
Perhaps not the best track for these cars, that said with more cars on track it may have been different. FYI if you want to move on the action, just fade to a later part of the race rather than fast forward. Your viewers can fast forward if they so wish if you decide to keep all the race in the video.
Thanks John, I thought these would be really fun at Spa, I think with a bigger field they could have been. I wont be skipping ahead anymore, the feedback seems pretty clear :)
To be honest I'm not sure if fast forwarding is the best way to skip "boring" bits, David. If I were you I would just show the race as it is. Keep in mind that viewers can skip parts themselves if they want to do so. Anyway, I have to agree with you. A larger field would have made for a better race on a track as Spa. But I think that for this series everything is setup for much shorter tracks and smaller fields.
That warp speed was a little unsettling too be honest, preferred when you just cut out the "boring" parts. creds for trying out new editing concepts 👍 If you feel like skipping parts of the race, just cut it out.
To be fair, cutting out "boring" parts was what David used to do previously, until some viewers complained (complain is a bit harsh but I don't know a better word) about that. As it turns out it is difficult to please everybody. Hence my suggestion to give the viewer the choice and just show the race as it is.
@@Arthur-Tromp haha, yes iknow. that was my sugestion, and calling it "complained" is a bit harsh indeed, it was a sugestion like now ;) In any case, creative and a gut feeling is what he should do, and wheter he listens too our feed back or not, is down to him. I would prefer full race vids, though if his statistics indicates that too be less performing, then whateever he needs to do to up the performance of the vid's he should do... Just never the Warp again 😂
@@andreasnesheim9903Suggestion is indeed much better. Thank you, Andreas. And like you I also would prefer full races. It is always interesting to see how somebody else takes his corners, use braking points, etc. So for me there aren't really boring parts ;-).

Thank you very much for the feedback, and for watching, I will do my best to keep them coming :)
Hi, if I may, I suggest you change the gears first...there's no point in pulling on the limiter if you're keeping an eye on the speed...💪💪

@@pitbitsdave look at the max speed you can take with every gear....you can change before 9000 rpm to increase fast your speed.
Take a try...
I will give that a go next time I drive them
6:55 Hyperdrive Mode? you pressed the little red button didnt you 🙈didnt you listen to agent k in men in black...do not touch the red button 🤣
I think David has the ACC speed hack ported to iRacing ;-)
@@Arthur-Tromp 🤣👍
Show me a button and I will press it........

No more skipping I promise

I've listened to the feedback and i wont speed up or take out the 'boring' bits ever again :)
