I need to purchase and learn the SF Light first. this looks like a handful!
It is a handful, especially off the slow corners
Good race, David, despite the spin. Push-to-pass certainly adds an extra dimension to a race. Not sure if it would have made much of a difference had you saved some untill the end of the race.
Yes, he had much more speed than me at the end so I wouldn't of held him back for long even with PTP
Would be nice if iracings clutch wasn't just an on-off button. Clutch control should get you off the line.
I've found that if you spin the wheel even a tiny bit it overheats and then you have no grip whatsoever off the line, so i'm taking the cautious approach
@pitbitsdave I dont own the car yet sounds like a nightmare. And the racing from the drivers in it is a bit hmmm. Lol.
Are you able to turn off push to pass into the braking zones and then back on when you get on the throttle? Great vid!
just wondered if doing that would save a few seconds of the push to pass for when youre actually accelerating, or if thats even worth the effort
Aren’t you using double clutch technique with a button mapped as secondary clutch?
You can't do that, once you turn it off it takes a set amount of time to be available again, something like 90 seconds I think. It's a good idea but it wont work.
I have two hand clutches so I guess I could do that, i've never really spent the time setting it up, maybe I should
@@pitbitsdave you might want to watch a secondary clutch tutorial and you will win up to a second on start. Maybe worth recording own video for your viewers too… there are also tables on internet with the engagement % for each car… it’s like you hold both clutches, then release secondary clutch which is configured for 45% bite, and then you release main clutch and “pew!”
