Hell yeah Count 😎 Glad to see you still active. I haven't watched your stuff in a few years, I recently heard one of your vocal tracks, and for what it's worth I am proud of you and to be your friend. Keep it fucking heavy my dude 🤘
Shitman I was watching you in highschool. I haven't seen much of your stuff since then and YT randomly recommended me this video. It felt like seeing an old friend glad you are still making videos.
1. Celtic Frost Monothiest (fav album it changed my perspective on heavy music) 2. Acid Bath When the kite strings pop 3. Opeth Still Life 4. Converge Jane Doe 5. Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
I’m 100% gunna have to do a response to this one. I remember you talking about that agalloch interview back in the day. Sucks to hear that’s what happened with it. Sabbath bloody sabbath would have to be my Go to record in their catalog. But off that record into the void is just so good. Those last too didn’t surprise me much at all. 🍻
I don’t really plan on getting buried so much as I do cremated, but here is my list. This also probably doubles as my five favorite albums of all time. 1. Opeth - Still Life (Favorite album of all time) 2. Ahab - Call of the Wretched Sea (Possibly the most perfect atmosphere on any album ever.) 3. Alice In Chains - Dirt (Not a huge grunge fan overall but this is probably the most emotional album I have ever listened to.) 4. Pink Floyd - The Wall (Perfect album, my favorite double album of all time period. Also a lot of the album’s story beats I can relate to on a personal level) 5. Perturbator - Dangerous Days (My favorite dark synth wave album of all time. Thank you so much for getting me into his music, he’s one of my favorite artists of all time now.)
5 Records i want to get buried with (I only took which are available on Vinyl, if I count my CD's and Tapes also it would be slightly different): ...Taur-nu-Fuin... - Infernum Wehrhammer / Armatus / Mors Atra - Banner des Blutes / Anti Religion / Der letzte Krieg Burzum - Burzum Bergthron - Verborgen in den Tiefen der Wälder... Forest - Forest
You're so lucky you have a BadAss collection of a Black Metal band been trying to pickup for quite awhile now. All Hail Blasphemy!!!! Also digging that Bathory longsleeve shirt and that Nails posterflag.
My top 5 metal would be 1. Metallica -and justice for all (this is the album that started my metal life) 2. Dissection- the somberlain 3. cannibal corpse - tomb of the mutilated 4. Morbid angel- formulas fatal to the flesh 5. The devil's blood - thousandfold epicentere top 5 non metal would be 1.alice in chains -entire layne era 2. smashing pumpkins- m.c.i.s. 3. 311- transistor 4. aphex twin- i care because you do 5. whitehouse- cruise
@@CountBlagorath makes sense. Also, if you don't mind me chucking a video idea out there. Would love to see what five non-metal albums you would take to your grave. Think that would be pretty cool to see!
As an upstate New Yorker myself, I salute that Agalloch choice 🫡🫡🫡🫡. I do recall as a longtime subscriber your video review about the Mantle- really great video!
Black Sabbath Master of Reality is a freaking masterpiece!
Great picks! Thanks for the response! Agalloch and Blasphemy would probably be thrown in with me at the last minute.
Monotheist was such a phenomenal comeback album... that album has my favourite guitar tone.
This Count Blagorath comeback is hitting the spot
I loved your "Ashamed of Being..." video; I remember it from a decade ago now ! Glad yer still on here doing vids !

Great picks man, I definitely agree with The Mantle. I love that album so much I have lyrics from it tattooed on my forearm

Damn I was expecting wolves in the throne room in the mix, Count?
They would be on the list if it was 10 albums.

Hard to argue with any of these
Wow, all those copies of "Fallen angels of doom" - save to conclude you like that record...
MoR was way ahead of its time. Many bands have come and gone trying to come close to this record. Cannot be equaled.
totally agree with the sabbath id get vol 4 buried with me
monotheist rips too!!1
Hope we get a repress for Monotheist 20th anniversary in 2 years a box set would be cool too.

I was expecting Les Hivers de notre époque
Great list, expected Celtic Frost, Sabbath and Agalloch but a bit surprised there is no Forteresse or even Zao. Nonetheless, all killer albums!
Those would be included if this was ten!

@Lighter357 I was thinking about that and I'm probably gonna do that
@@CountBlagorath hell yeah, man! Looking forward to seeing your picks there.
