Rather than using composer, I have been exporting my solidworks to blender and doing my animation there. The benefit is the raytracing for realistic lighting and materials. Composer seems nice because of all of the premade animations, so I don't have to make them from scratch. Thanks for the video!
Nice technique, James! Have you tried out SOLIDWORKS Visualize for realistic rendering? The combination of SOLIDWORKS, Visualize & Composer is a powerful one, especially as all the CAD can be linked making updates so easy!
