You made me giggle about the Rainforest Room! We just did Halloween on the High Seas on the Wish and got the cruise length package. By the time we got home, I ordered a steam sauna, a new shower system, a bubbling fountain and a way to heat a lounger. So I highly encourage you to say yes to creating your own Rainforest Room!
It’s so crazy a year ago I picked up and moved from the city about an hour away to the country with 5 acres and a cabin style home. Such a hard adjustment with the drive to go places but so peaceful
I was raised in a city, now i live in East TX, I now have my second round of ducks with meat chickens on the way and I dream everyday of our next house with more land to get even more farm animals. I cannot wait and I am loving this time in my life! Sometimes you find that you just fall into it

I started my moving journey over two years ago. Wē have totally gutted our house and it is almost done. Wē liveed with my son for two years white it was being worked on. Wē are living in our house Now while finishing the renovations. It is almost complete. I’m excited for your new venture!

"We haven't packed anything" - I hope it works out that you don't have to. We set a goal when we moved to our current house to have movers that packed and moved EVERYTHING and it was SUCH a stress relief. We slept on air mattresses on closing day, and the movers showed up the next morning with all our stuff and unloaded everything. I just gave directions on where items went. LOVE 💕 I wish that same delightful experience for you guys! 🤞🏻

I think a massive difference between country vs city! Is that in the city you deal with traffic, peak hours, and to be honest it taking more time sometimes getting from place to place. In the country you can get somewhere in 10min with no traffic and it’s just a lot more calm and less busy!

Family cottages aren't just a Canada thing. Here in the U.S. my family have a family lake house, cabin and mountain house all in different states. Anyone in the family can visit whenever. 😊

Where I live I'm about 15-20min from even just a gas station and there definitely isn't uber eats, but being able to retreat somewhere without the constant noise of city life is really nice. It definitely takes an adjustment period if you're used to everything being close, but it's not too bad, honestly. I just have to plan out what days I go to the grocery store lol. Not having to deal with traffic in the immediate area is also a plus.
