i run WGT-R also .. it's a great drivers class with great competition .. i run a CRC GenX10-RT, i've been running the GenX for about a year, not one single broken part other than the odd bearing blowing .. this is the most cost effect class i've seen in 30+ years of racing.
This one here was a converted Foam Tire car. Worked well, but I would spend hours to try and tune it to get as fast as the R/T cars out of the box. This year, I broke down and bought a new GEN-X R/T. I’ll be making it a 190mm car and using the 190MM Touring car bodies.
You know, I should of. It was one of the best classes I ever raced. The truck with the pan cars it to have a proper set up board and level. It’s a lot of messing around, but once you work it out, you are way faster than everyone else that hasn’t
Can u do a update vid on your Sakura d4 because I don't understand how u made the wheels not touch the arm lol if u didn't do that pls do a vid on it enyway btw luv your vids
I was running a super shortly Savox servo. I forget the actual model number. It was not super torquey because...it doesn’t have to be. But it was small.
+Jason Brunda No, Mylaps discontinued the Track transponder set up a long time ago, so now each person needs to have their own pet car. Much better this way.
it is. but there is a Tamiya conversion. They sold it with a Porsche and a Toyota Lemans body. the only real difference is the longer front arms and the t-plate rear
That shell is glooooorious! Nice rig, too! I love the... "complex simplicity" of pan car setups. Super interesting stuff.
+Alec J I agree. Protoform killed it with this one.
Wow,good and clear explaining!
Found the pan car GT class a few months ago here in Holland and i am Adicted yet..
Love that pan car. I wish we had more tracks around where I live. Great video very informative thanks.
+Tyler Stone I wish we had more options for the summer so I could keep racing.
Awesome Joe!
+paul skipp hope that answered your questions

@@scalefreakgaming i run 190mm too .. the protoform c7r
DozR I have to look more into it, but I was told that WGT banned the 190mm Corvette today. I think it was just the ZR1, but we will see.
@@scalefreakgaming wow thats a drag .. i gotta look in to that...... thanks for the tip!

Are you still thinking about doing a WGT-R set up video? Can’t seem to find any on you tube? Thanks

How much does the body weigh without the rear wing? I would be very thankful if you could weight it.

I think I wanna get into racing but off road tho
+Jaki I will get back to off road soon
don't tracks supply transponders nemore I used to race a TRC spec 10 years ago and the tracks had transponders
+Jason Brunda No, Mylaps discontinued the Track transponder set up a long time ago, so now each person needs to have their own pet car. Much better this way.
AWD? is F1 AWD as well?
Both the World GT and F1 classes are RWD only.
Can you run a tamiya 103 chassis in this class?
+Gregory Parkin Isn't the 103 an F1 chassis?
it is. but there is a Tamiya conversion. They sold it with a Porsche and a Toyota Lemans body. the only real difference is the longer front arms and the t-plate rear
On another note... do you know why the F103 is banned from competing?
+Gregory Parkin oh,
Maybe then.
+Gregory Parkin No idea. I have never been a fan of Tamiya stuff, so I tend to stay away. I waited for the CRC and Team Associated to get into F1
