347 Stroker, Edelbrock heads & intake, 248/258 cam, 4.56 gear, TKO500, 275/50/15 street tires, true duals flowmaster dumped.
I am a Chevrolet man but, I bought a 1987 LX Mustang that I was going to put Chev gear in. I decided with much hesitation to keep it all Ford since everyone else is putting LS series engines in them, so I built a roller 347 with a C4 automatic, 4000 stall converter with 8.8 diff with 4:10s. It turns the fuck on! I have had newer Camaros, Challengers come up on me and it will blow past them sideways! I almost wrapped it around a pole cause the traffic light turned yellow so I put it to the rug, at 80kmh it broke loose through the intersection almost into on coming traffic lol. It’s a animal show!

I had a 90 lx hatch with a 347 had a pro-motion t5' 3.73 gears, kinda sounded like yours but i had magnaflow stainless x pipe and shorty big tubes.. she was a sleeper, i had the stock heads worked and a nice little choppy cam i forget the specs, were goin back almost 20 yrs ago... goddamn i miss that car.. u cant find em nomo and if u do your gunna pay..

Same money in to a 351 Cleveland and you'd have about 150 more HP lol
Prolly not Cleveland part are expensive and harder to find. If clear lands were so great more people would build them rarely will you ever see a cleavland 302 or 351w based stuff is cheaper easier to find and with the strong aftermarket following these engines Cleveland’s are a thing of the past.

The LS and GT came with same motor. Same 5.0
This one has longer stroke for more cubes., but YES, it IS an LS motor.
LX is the trim level of the car I think it had a trunk and the GT was a hatch. It's allegedly the original 302 stroked, but I don't know how they got it to rev that high unless it's a completely built motor
What are those... like 235/75/15. An old 4 door infinity could do the same to those tires.

That's my friend car and don't see him much in the last years. So, I don't have chance to film him very much. The car now has a 363ci dart engine with new heads, cam, intake, etc.
Burnouts on cheap street tires are fine for a 16 year old mouth breather. Let’s see the car make a pass.
