    Building the cutter seems as enjoyable as what you get from it.

      Yeah it was a project in itself that was fun.

      awesome. I havent used mine in a few months as i tried it by hand on my big 8ft zagi and i forgot that i actually enjoy cutting manually as well. Hope you get some good cuts!

    Problem with inconsistent volume. When you talk, I have to turn up the volume, when you play the music parts, the volume is way to high.

      Yeah i think specific sound systems make it dramatically more noticeable. I was in a hurry.

      You just need to adjust the volume@@thenatedog

    I have the cutter amost done. My problem is how to get the wing information put together to put it in the cutting program. Could you do a video on picking a wing, what you do between picking and cutting, then cutting. with alot of time spent on the IN BETWEEN. Thanks

    What kind of foam do you use?

    • @thenatedog
      @thenatedog  5 років тому

      R-tech brand rigid insulation from home depot.

    • @DroneBuildde

      I think it is XPS foam which is mainly used for building insulation. Did you try EPP foam which is more flexible and crash resistant?

    Hello, how is everything? Friend I'm building a hotwire and stopped at the software part. I did a lot of research and saw that DEV software is the best. I saw that the friend is using DEVCNC FOAM. In your case .... Could you give me the software? Or give me a tip where I find the license?

    Congrats on building a great cutting system Nate! Are you taking orders for wings yet? I need a 50 inch MH 32 airfoil, ten inch root out to six inch tip in EPP foam. ;-)

      MostlyHarmlessRC epp is too expensive for me. What are you building?

      Hey Nate - The next plane is still in the design phase. Seriously considering a nurf-like, plank-wing fpv plane. That's why I'm looking at thinner, faster airfoils. I was kidding about epp - I'll probably stick to polystyrene. Wish I had your amazing cutting rig! Cheers man

      love the nurf. i still go back and watch your video from time to time. Making a forward swept wing is on my list for sure.

      Thanks man - that's great to hear! It'll have a similar tail-less shape but I may not include the sweep - can't decide... I want it to be fast and stable - a bit like the goblin and the mini-drak. How's the F100 coming?
