Years ago a few friends and I went up to a cabin on a lake in New Hampshire. After dark one of my friends and I took a small boat and a 6 pack to go float and just relax. The lake surrounded by pines and a light fog sat over the water which was like glass. We heard owls and loons, a sound us NY Boys had never heard. Quite bone chillin. Even hearing their long distance cries in the video makes the hairs on my neck stand
I've always been obsessed with thunderstorm and recently discover the hauting beautiful sound of loons. The fact that this combination exist and allow me to experience is just pure joy. thank you for uploading it
I love the sound loons make and it’s very hard to find good versions of it but your channel has so many variations! It’s hard to choose!! Thanks a lot! ❤️
That’s great! Thank you so much ☺️ I remember you had suggested not to have music on another video and that was one of the best advice so thank you 🙏 I’m always open if you have any other suggestions 😊
The sea is calm tonight. The tide is full, the moon lies fair Upon the straits; on the French coast the light Gleams and is gone; the cliffs of England stand, Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay. Come to the window, sweet is the night-air! Only, from the long line of spray Where the sea meets the moon-blanched land, Listen! you hear the grating roar Of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling, At their return, up the high strand, Begin, and cease, and then again begin, With tremulous cadence slow, and bring The eternal note of sadness in. Sophocles long ago Heard it on the Ægean, and it brought Into his mind the turbid ebb and flow Of human misery; we Find also in the sound a thought, Hearing it by this distant northern sea. The Sea of Faith Was once, too, at the full, and round earth’s shore Lay like the folds of a bright girdle furled. But now I only hear Its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar, Retreating, to the breath Of the night-wind, down the vast edges drear And naked shingles of the world. Ah, love, let us be true To one another! for the world, which seems To lie before us like a land of dreams, So various, so beautiful, so new, Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light, Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain; And we are here as on a darkling plain Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight, Where ignorant armies clash by night.

Hope it’s a good tent!
Try a Boundry Waters Canoe Area trip...
I played this at 3am on my porch and all the loons in the lakes I live on went off. Never heard them get half that loud. Was pretty cool
That’s awesome
Thank you this is wonderful

Wow that is very profound! Did you write that? If not who did? I’d like to read more 🧐👍
@@yourblueskytime the poem is called Dover Beach
@@thehylian6984 Thanks!
God works......
Is there the same version of this without the Loons?
No …. But I will make one for you soon
The call is so evil in my opinion
😈🤡
