La nostra storia: l'Antica Murano
Iniziammo a lavorare il vetro giovanissimi, in una delle più prestigiose fornaci di Murano la "Barovier e Toso", dove imparammo con dedizione e precisione tutte le più raffinate tecniche vetrarie, fu li che capimmo il nostro valore e decidemmo di iniziare la nostra avventura. Nacque così nel 1991 l'Antica Murano, solo grazie ad esperienza e passione, le nostre tecniche di lavorazione sono divenute raffinatissime ed originali come si può notare dalla bellezza delle nostre opere.
La storia di Murano
Nel 1921 un decreto della Serenissima ordinò che tutte le Vetrerie di Venezia, per evitare il rischio di incendi, fossero trasferite nella vicina isola di Murano. A quella data si fa risalire l'inizio della leggendaria attività vetraria muranese e da allora l'arte del vetro resterà indissolubilmente legata al nome di Murano. Dalle "murrine" alla "filigrana, ai reticelli", ai calici soffiati che sono espressione dell'arte muranese del '400 e del '500, attraverso l'esuberanza barocca, la breve fioritura neoclassica e i "revivals" dell'800, si sviluppa questa lunga e affascinante storia. Ai giorni nostri vengono ancora riprodotte le opere più significative delle varie epoche, mentre lo spirito creativo della tradizione dà impulso alla ricerca di nuove forme che sono espressione del nostro tempo. All'Antica Murano ancora oggi i prodotti sono realizzati completamente a mano con gli stessi semplici utensili di un tempo

Unsere Geschichte:
Wir haben schon sehr früh damit begonnen, das Glas in einem der prestigeträchtigsten Murano-Öfen, dem "Barovier e Toso", zu bearbeiten. Dort haben wir mit Hingabe und Präzision alle raffiniertesten Techniken der Glasherstellung erlernt. Dort haben wir unseren Wert verstanden und beschlossen, unser Abenteuer zu beginnen. So wurde 1991 die Antica Murano geboren, nur dank Erfahrung und Leidenschaft sind unsere Verarbeitungstechniken sehr raffiniert und originell geworden, wie aus der Schönheit unserer Werke hervorgeht.
Die Geschichte von Murano
Im Jahr 1921 ordnete ein Dekret der Serenissima an, dass alle Vetrerie von Venedig auf die nahe gelegene Insel Murano verlegt werden sollten, um die Brandgefahr zu vermeiden. An diesem Tag kann der Beginn des legendären Muranoglasgeschäfts zurückverfolgt werden, und seitdem wird die Glaskunst untrennbar mit dem Namen Murano verbunden bleiben. Von der "Murrine" über die "Filigrane, die Reticelli" bis zu den geblasenen Bechern, die Ausdruck der muranesischen Kunst der 400er und 500er Jahre sind, entwickeln sich durch den barocken Überschwang die kurze neoklassizistische Blüte und die 800er Wiederbelebung Diese lange und faszinierende Geschichte. Heutzutage werden die bedeutendsten Werke der verschiedenen Epochen immer noch reproduziert, während der kreative Geist der Tradition der Suche nach neuen Formen Auftrieb gibt, die Ausdruck unserer Zeit sind. Bei Antica Murano werden die Produkte immer noch vollständig von Hand mit den gleichen einfachen Werkzeugen der Vergangenheit hergestellt

The history of Murano

@@peteraignersome of my favorite pieces ever are from the 80s at barovier and toso nice to see that talent continuously evolve. i havent had an opportunity to blow glass in six years so i really rely on videos like these.
