How did you get to rotating options on the individual letter? (2:02) I see the navigator bullseye on the entire word but when double-clicking for individual letters, rotation options go away within the 3d & material panel.

Weird, did you expand and ungroup your letters @ 0:48 ? This should make it so you can select and rotate individual letters when turned to 3D
