I'm sorry for your loss. What a great American your son was. I was a Corpsman for 2/4 Marines. I have never met a grater group of Americans than my Marines.
you lost a son, I lost a brother, everyday when I wake up I remember them, before I sleep I remember them. Not a day goes by when I don't think about them. It's amazing how close you become with those you fought with. I'm closer to the guys I fought with then my own siblings.
nnnnnie, I'm also a veteran of the Navy. Even though I served during peace time, I can not being to tell how your son death affect each and everyone of us. Your son was a strong man but nnnnnie you are a stronger women. A women I would be proud to call my mother. May God Bless and your family and your son. A person I would be proud to comrade in arms.
Very profound words from the great Ronald Reagan. God bless America, greatest country the world has ever seen, land of the free and the home of the brave.
My father was a WWII vet along with two of his brothers. Another served in the Korean Conflict, another in peacetime. Their father was a doughboy in WWI. I have the greatest respect for all veterans. I just wish the people who send these men and women into harms way had greater wisdom and followed the warnings of our founding fathers and President Eisenhauer.
Respect for an upright and un"woke" message from Reagan - courage and honor you won't see or hear from the current shameful duo in DC power positions. Thank you, for your service. God Bless America 🇺🇸

The US is honoring men and women who fought for the US. Iraq can honor their own fallen. US isn't obligated to mourn anybody, but they still do. Be grateful for that at least. How many countries outside the US mourn American lives being lost?

My father-in-law passed last memorial day. The Army came and did the flag folding ceremony for him... It was outstanding!!! They were so sharp, and so smooth, the way the woman cradled the the flag still brings tears to my eyes. And the way the other gentlemen who brought the flag to my wife was outstanding, hat parallel to the floor, nothing less then Sharp! It was like I was at the Tomb of the Unknown! ( I was there as a child) It is something I will never forget. I am so sorry they had to leave before I got a chance to thank them personally. I wanted to tell them how special it was for my wife and I to have them there. That flag is now on a shelf on our wall. I look at it most every day. I am proud to have it there. My father-in-law was second generation Army! That day is a day I will never forget. Words can not say how thankful I am to all the men and woman who gave up so much to serve..... We will never forget you..... May God bless you all.....
Loving memory of all our military forces and their families. Seems like words aren't enough, but words of honor are all we have to give in return. God bless
My Great Uncle was a captain in the war and was a beach master on Omaha. He went in before the first wave in the attack. He directed the landing on that beach and helped soldiers out of the boats. He was one of the first American soldiers to land in France that day. He also helped land General Patton in the invasion of Sicily at Salerno. He also served in North Africa. On Omaha, he was standing under heavy German fire. Somehow he made it out alive that day. He later served in the Korean War. He served in the Army in WW2, the Coast Guard in Korea, and then served in the Marine Corps, and Navy. He went to VMI and graduated at age 22 and was 35 in 44. After the war he became a sherriff. Rest in Peace Captain F Perry Williams and the rest of the soldiers who sacrificed everything as boys and served in the war.
To them, I cannot repay the debt I owe. For them, I work at being a good, loving father and husband, a true friend, a loyal American, and pray that I would have the courage to stand, fight, and die for my country and each other as they did should the time come. These things will never be enough, but it is what I have to give, for them.
I pray often for my fallen brothers and sisters, their families and loved ones, as well as my own. Thank you on behalf of the fallen for not forgetting their sacrifice. Thank you for your support from all us Veterans. 🇺🇸
I went and walked among the graves at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery today, I was there to visit the grave of my father who fought in the skies over Hanoi, North Vietnam. I am fortunate that he survived that war and lived to be an old man, but I spent the majority of my time walking among the men who were killed in World War ll. It is truly hard for me to understand what these guys sacrificed, but it makes me proud to be a free man. I also lost a 21 year old Uncle in that war who was buried in Luxembourg before he was returned home.
Not American. …..served next to them….in less than a heartbeat would again….such a great speech by Mr. Regan….rest in peace Sir and may your words be heard, be understood and resonate forever…….
My deepest respect to all those who took the time out of their lives to put on this country's uniform and serve in this country's military. You have earned this nation's appreciation, honor, and thanks.--Tom Reilly
I'm 15 and British , but my girlfriend is American and her dad, an ex Marine, so God bless America and thankyou to your brave men and women severing and that have served
Xander....very sweet sentiments....but if you want to impress your girlfriend's father.....NEVER call him an ex-marine. "Once a marine, always a marine."
there is no such thing as an ex-Marine," "Once a Marine, always a Marine. When people say former Marine, most oftentimes, it refers to someone who formerly served in an active or reserve capacity. I never met anyone who said 'former Marine' and meant it in any disrespectful manner. Definitely a taboo phrase would be 'ex-Marine.' "
I know a lot of ppl don’t want to hear Thank You for Serving but it is very important to me to know you are never forgotten especially today 2022 since we have so many cowards both Boys and Girls that don’t have any idea what you give up serving in the Military. Yes, I come from a Military Family and see what Our American Government gives ppl who have served in America’s Military not a dang thing and Our American Government should be ashamed of themselves and some of these young ppl that are scared to take a stand for their own ancestors.
honor and glory to all those men and women who have given their lives for their country, their loved ones and for world peace, greetings from Costa Rica ... thanks for your maximum sacrifice
You’re so right. It hurts !!! I’m so sorry for our children being flown, shipped, and bused to get to sign up for being our country’s sacrificial lamb instead of us protecting those here. Israel, Palestine, Egypt, China, etc. are always going to be in trouble. They choose not to get along. Why are we there??? War is bc someone wants something that doesn’t belong to them. The ruler also doesn’t have to go. I would never have allowed my sons to go. My Dad and brother were in the Navy and I missed my brother so much after him getting out of an orphanage now on a ship in Hawaii. I can’t imagine his feelings of abandonment again not to mention where he was being shipped next
And we say people like superman don't exist.... how funny Millions of super men and women have fought and are fighting for freedom, not just in the United States, but in the armies of our allies who have fought through the darkest periods on this Earth alongside us. God bless you all, you deserve much more than just a salute
Few words spoken that truly touches our souls and no that we are for just human beings we sacrifice so much for our safety from the bottom of my heart to each and every family they have lost I love one I'm so sorry and I'm so thankful at the same time thank you💖
Every Memorial Day I keep returning to this video because I think President Ronald Reagan said it best. Many talk about how these *were* great men and women, but i say they *still* are great men and women. ☝️ Love hopes all things. (1 Corinthians 13 : 7)
Lord, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jesus, and Moses. I have mercy on these young people. I have tears of my eyes on their children. I am a young man from Iraq. May Allah have mercy on them and make them in paradise.
As an Israeli American citizen who has experienced both Memorial Days . I must say - the Americans celebrating Memorial Day is one of the weirdest traditions . U have July 4th for that. There are millions of people who are affected by the lose of a close one and who are grieving on this day. It is a day of sadness and reflection, and day of appreciation and love . These words of Regan are extremely powerful ! Listen to them with ur heart . That’s all I have to say . May god bless American and Israel.
President Reagan had a way with words that gets to you. But yes, these are our true heroes we honor, salute and remember them. Their lives ended many decades ago so that we shall live. Thank you!!! ❤️❤️
I often think of my Uncle Richard Krebs...who was a turret gunner in WWII--he went down over the English Channel at age 19..and was never recovered. There is actually a plaque in a small church on the White Cliffs of Dover that commemorates by listing the names of all the servicemen who lost their lives (that they know of) in the English Channel. I am grateful to those people who paid them that honor.
I am Iraqi and I live in Baghdad and I am very sad about the wars that happened because we lost many friends and relatives, and you also lost your friends and relatives. I hope that their souls will rest in peace and I hope that peace will come to everyone. I am really sorry
thank you America, for fighting wars to keep the peace, making the sacrifices we were to make, from your forever supporting ally,Australia and our brother, New Zealand, thank you
To and for the church that made this and put it together on here: That thanks , goes right back to you at home who support us all. Can't begin to tell you how touching this is. Thank you.9th Infantry Division B Co. 2/75th Ranger
I would like to give a thank-you to all veterans who have fought the good fight and to all that has helped this country like police and firefighters thank you all for your service
To understand what it means to be a soldier, you would have to be one. No one else will ever truly understand. Not family, not friends, not country. We have some understanding, yes. But, true understanding only comes from those who have endured the fight. Stood side by side with their brothers and sisters as they have faced their greatest dangers and fears together. Losing each other. Some returning home. Some losing it all. Those that have returned still suffer... Always having those memories imprinted in their minds and hearts... Always remembering those who were not able to come home. Hoping with every part of them, that they can lead their best lives for those who could not, feeling unworthy of such a task... I can not begin to imagine the pain and pressure this bestows upon our soldiers. My gratitude is absolutely endless. While my soldier did make it home, many did not. We will never forget you. We will always honor and cherish you. On this Memorial Day and everyday. Thank you. Our many blessings and thanks to the families and friends of our fallen. You are always in our hearts and in our prayers. -Bethany

i'm sure you already know this but just as a reminder..your son was a great man and a hero!
God Bless your boy
you lost a son, I lost a brother, everyday when I wake up I remember them, before I sleep I remember them.
What a beautiful tribute. To those whom have given the ultimate sacrifice. They are all hero's. Thank for your brave service. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Same here!

This is most perfect speech and UA-cam clip to sum up Memorial Day and bring awareness to what ot truly means...❤🇺🇸
I am a German Guy, and i am still crying for all the Kiddys who lost who lost their Mom and Dad, Sister or Brother.
Rest in Peace an thank you for your Service
Love this speech. Love the man who gave it. Hoo-Yah to those who have fallen for this great nation. May we honor you by keeping it the 'shining city on the hill'...
Remembering all those who gave it all so that we can live in freedom.
+Roger Clemons What if ur dad or family member was killed in ww2 jackass... In ww2 it wasn't like that
NO REAL THREAT? WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN THE PAST 16 YEARS?!?! LET ME NAME YOU SOME OF THE NO REAL THREATS THAT ARE IN THIS WORLD OF ARE'S : ISIS, THE TALTBAND, RUSSIA, NORTH COREA, SABIA ARABIA, HILRY CLENTEN, AND SOOO MUCH MORE.AND TO THOSE WHO DIED IN WAR, THEY WHERE FIGHTING BECAUSE THEY BELIEVED THEY WHERE FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM, AND THAT MAKES IT EVEN SADDER BECAUSE THEY DIED NOT KNOWING THE TRUTH.
I've lost more friends in the Army to count (a lot from suicide) and man Memorial day really tears me up, but I know that they would want us to live good lives and be happy. Keep your heads up. Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸
Thank You to all veterans for your service
Amen Champion Forest Baptist Church and thank you for using the Gipper to remind us about the true meaning of Memorial Day.
Blessings
*Thank you to the brave men and women that sacrificed their lives for our freedom. We honor that sacrifice today and every day and pray that the ones you left behind find peace.* ❤️
I agree this is a video for FAMILYS who lost someone close to them
Roger I seriously doubt you own anything but a big mouth!
The US is honoring men and women who fought for the US. Iraq can honor their own fallen. US isn't obligated to mourn anybody, but they still do. Be grateful for that at least. How many countries outside the US mourn American lives being lost?
Don't give me that Memorial Day Crap about how they "sacrificed their lives for our freedom." It's really about man's stupidity in killing each other.
thank a vet for you being able to make that remark with out them you may not even be here so stay in your room and keep playing wow and not contributing anything but "stupidity
Taking a moment, at least a moment, to remember those who gave up all their future moments . . . so we could have. . . this one. God Bless these men and women who gave EVERYTHING for you and me. God Bless America.
@Roger Clemons you sure do troll a lot
I am proud of you.
I am proud of them
Dan Foxx Yes. This moment. This very breath, this look out our window, this right to have free will, to wear/practice/marry/do/study/travel/BE what we want, the freedom that we possess (and should never forget that we’re not entitled to), Thank you,” will never be enough. Forever indebted 🇺🇸❤️
President Regan was a Great Speaker. This Speech came from his Heart & w/ Great Honor & Respect.
"ON BEHALF OF A GRATEFUL NATION" This is why we stand
Since enlisting, I've grown and even stronger attachment and love for everyone who's served and is currently serving. I'm currently serving in the airforce as a ceremonial guardsman, and it's been one the most humbling jobs I've ever had and I'd never trade this for anything. Thank you to those to served and have payed to ultimate price. We will continue and legacy and continue to honor you with dignity.
Thank you for your service to our great country!!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS GIVEN THEIR LIVE'S IN SERVICE TO THEIR HOMELAND'S GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND MAY YOUR HIGHER POWER BLESS YOU ALL TONIGHT IT'S NO SACRIFICE WHEN IT'S FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY
I want to say thank you to all the men and women who served our country
This service men and women gave away their freedom for ours freedom . Thankyou for your service .
For all that have paid the ultimate price. I say THANK YOU for giving me the chance to enjoy my life. And i say thank you to your families....
Watching this and knowing what these good men when threw and my father and uncles and cousins breaks my heart can't stop crying,
Hello
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
When all three of my son joined the service . I prayed and im still praying .
I pray often for my fallen brothers and sisters, their families and loved ones, as well as my own. Thank you on behalf of the fallen for not forgetting their sacrifice. Thank you for your support from all us Veterans. 🇺🇸
Это говорит Великий президент Америки , Господин Президент Рональд Рейган .
God Bless you for being a veteran and providing security for this country.
GOD bless our veterans and their families!
So touching, thanks for sharing J❤️
I'm 15 and British , but my girlfriend is American and her dad, an ex Marine, so God bless America and thankyou to your brave men and women severing and that have served
Xander....very sweet sentiments....but if you want to impress your girlfriend's father.....NEVER call him an ex-marine. "Once a marine, always a marine."
Jen Dailey I only said ex marine for it to make sense to everyone who read it that he isn't severing
and I'm not here to impress anyone so
SafeBox We understand. Just next time use the term retired or Marine veteran. We will always be Marines
there is no such thing as an ex-Marine," "Once a Marine, always a Marine.
If you can't respect the one's that fight for your freedom or fought then you seriously should be ashamed of yourself God bless 😉💜
God damned right. 🇺🇸
honor and glory to all those men and women who have given their lives for their country, their loved ones and for world peace, greetings from Costa Rica ... thanks for your maximum sacrifice
But “enjoy the long weekend” am I right?
You’re so right. It hurts !!! I’m so sorry for our children being flown, shipped, and bused to get to sign up for being our country’s sacrificial lamb instead of us protecting those here. Israel, Palestine, Egypt, China, etc. are always going to be in trouble. They choose not to get along. Why are we there??? War is bc someone wants something that doesn’t belong to them. The ruler also doesn’t have to go. I would never have allowed my sons to go.
My Dad and brother were in the Navy and
I missed my brother so much after him getting out of an orphanage now on a ship in Hawaii. I can’t imagine his feelings of abandonment again not to mention where he was being shipped next
@Confidencealpha I call her, Giggles.
Lol... she is the most pathetic individual ever
@Confidencealpha I agree with you 💯
Start the campaign to get Biden and Harris out of the WH.
Wonderful comments never served but I had several brothers& brother-in-laws who did. Always thankful for their service and all who served.
And we say people like superman don't exist.... how funny
Millions of super men and women have fought and are fighting for freedom, not just in the United States, but in the armies of our allies who have fought through the darkest periods on this Earth alongside us.
God bless you all, you deserve much more than just a salute
... its d day today... 6th June but 2021

Beautiful, and heart rendering
Thank you for your service, and may your memory be a blessing!
Respect From Poland !!!
My Dad's Dad and Uncle was a Marine. Ty Soldiers for all you do.
God bless this America and the men and women who served. 🇺🇸
ARE YOU AN AMERICAN?CUZ IF YOU ARE, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR-SELF!
@@genericjohn972 if you'll go through each comment for this video he's got a bull crap comment
Lmao, that was a long time ago. I'm not even sure who I was replying to at the moment.
Hello so sorry to hear that about your uncle! Happy Halloween to you!!
EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER SERVED OUR COUNTRY, IS A HERO IN MY EYES!!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
I am Iraqi and I live in Baghdad and I am very sad about the wars that happened because we lost many friends and relatives, and you also lost your friends and relatives. I hope that their souls will rest in peace and I hope that peace will come to everyone. I am really sorry

Hello Jan
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
Same here!
Hello Jan happy Halloween
To you!!
-Bethany
