    feel like it could be stopped if the dump defender set up correctly and forced the dump upline to the break side

    I'm always surprised that top US teams will set a defense with strict 1:1 match ups here. Why not just stand one defender on the open side?

      because that leaves someone open, and at this level the offense would easily score to the poached player

    Great play and breakdown! Now, if only the thrower didn't completely drag pivot foot before release... but that's not gonna get called when the D is that far beat.

      I mean he doesn't drag his pivot. He just steps through the throw with his left and his right foot is established as the pivot foot
