Thank you for sharing, Great video very informational. I grabbed the engine prints, those look amazing on your build! I'm currently working with the QRomer slow stick and having a blast with it. Thanks again for sharing and the files I may get around to building this one some day.
Sorry to hear that. I've only downloaded their free plans and learned the hard way without a FC, which results in many crashes as you can imagine. Don't give up on flying. @user-otzlixr
Nice adding the little touches, it personalizes your plane. I remember many years ago on my Kadet Senior i took some 5" wheels wide tires from an off road truck and found some wheels that fit inside the rim. Five inch tires allowed my plane to roll over goffer holes.
I just built one of these, and happen to have the same motor! Definitely going to try it, and it will be much lighter, but I was pretty impressed about a 10minutes flight with all the extra stuff. I don't believe TPU or any of those filaments are even that heavy anyways.
12:03 I noticed the ends of the wings(after black tape) are missing material on the bottom. What is it called and what's the reason to make ends different from the rest of the wing?
I'm not totally sure, but this is how FliteTest designed it in their plans. The under camber helps reduce stalling at low speeds. Also an easy spot to install the aileron servos.
Yep, the FT Storch was a great slow flying trainer for me too. Low durability made mine short lived. An old school balsa and maybe a foam wing would temp me. A cheaper FunCub kit needs to be.
Hi, I appreciate you asking. But it would take quite a few hours in labor to setup the prints and ship, and at least 20+ hours of printing time. I've never calculated my costs for something like this but it wouldn't be cheap enough to be worth it for you. I also don't have the right filament on hand.
What a great video and than you for the STL's. Let me know if there is a way to buy you a cup of coffee.
Thanks for watching! I hope the STLs are useful for your builds.
I m beginner to flying hobby
Just learning from UA-cam videos
Thank you for providing video

Nice build. Looks great! Reminds me of a plane I had in 1977. Flight Test makes some nice stuff to get folks into the hobby.
Thank you! My journey into the RC hobby started with FliteTest. Such a great bunch of people.

Thank you! Haha, sounds like a true bush plane.
How to build a storch even better. Nice. I thought this was store bought at first.
Nice build.

Excellent!
Looks like a great flyer. I see storch, cub and stick mixed into one plane.
Thanks for watching. That is a good description, I'd have to agree!
Nice flying, very smooth. Looks like you are well settled in your new home :)... but I miss flying with you around here.
Thanks, Tom! I definitely miss hanging out with the crew. A lot more open state and federal land out west for flying, for sure.
Looks Good... Flies Great.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the great video!

Lovely stuff! Definitely be making one of these! Maybe balsa. Love the yellow.
Thanks! Good luck with the build.
@@LiftVector just printed out all the plans! getting excited. what motor/prop combo do you use?
Nice! Check out ua-cam.com/video/arO7EmZtBkM/v-deo.htmlsi=Y7C92qjjsUOYGZlS&t=92 I put it in the description, as well. @@TheSquirrelRCchannel
thank you so much
what is the dianeter of these tpu wheels you printed? Ive spotted some online (not 3d printed) but the ones your using look perfect size.
great video
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed.
@@LiftVector your design is different then other this airplane looks great
Brilliant!
Love this!

I would like to try a FunCub one day, as well. Thanks for checking out the vid!
Qué bonito , yo fabrico mis aviones con material de reciclaje, en tu opinión personal es útil una impresora 3D
Thanks! 3d printing is great for the RC hobby. It takes awhile to get things right, but it is worth it.
I do not have a 3D printer. How much would you charge to ship me the items you 3d printed? I am in Los Angeles, CA.

👍😀
3 pt landings easier with no flaps...
I will have to try that, thanks for the tip!
CG?
Here is the FliteTest build video where they show CG. ua-cam.com/video/i0S4epTCmss/v-deo.htmlsi=2kotGvSyiz4y3s4K&t=3746
