- The 2019 Kia Sorento is one of the most attractive and value-oriented crossovers you can get on in that segment! It's a mix of luxury and excellent ergonomics in an attractive and budget-friendly packaging! The spirited front- or available all-wheel drive experience is brought to life with a choice of two proven engines, including a 2.4-liter inline-4 GDI or a 3.3-liter V6 GDI. For MY19, the 2.0-liter turbo I-4 will no longer be offered as part of Sorento’s powertrain strategy. However, a new diesel engine with the latest emission controls is currently under development and more information is forthcoming.
New for 2019:
- Sorento enjoys numerous exterior and interior enhancements to achieve a more refined and sophisticated look
- Utility’s performance elevated with newly available new 8-speed automatic transmission and revised 6-speed gearbox
7-passenger 3-row seating now standard on all trims ( USA ) Canada still get the 5-passenger base.
- Newly added Driver Assistance Systems, Harman Kardon-audio with QuantumLogic and wireless charging expand Sorento’s available tech roster.

Except for the 2014 and 2015 they were the fastest years I have a 14 and it’s under 6
I had a deer come running at me at like a 45 degree angle at night and I was going like 80. I hit the brakes just right and steered to miss it but it bumped it's nose into my back window and ran off. Very, very little damage and I guarantee you would have wrecked most other suv in that situation. I was very impressed! Check out the Moose test on these!

Car Question I watched it this morning at work. I was waiting for part 3 since then.
My 08 Sorento EX does 60 mph in about 5 seconds if not flat, I don’t know what my parents did to it but I think it’s stock still. Louder than normal for sure.

The only thing i find weird is how much diffrent the gauge cluster is between the 2.4 and 3.3
You get that gauge cluster ex and above doesn’t matter the engine

Это ж не 3.5??? Написано на ДВС GDI это меньше объём..... И рядный.
на 1:28 на крышке багажника написано же V6, это тот же V6 GDI 3.3л что ставят на Стингер , только без турбин, и расточен до большего обьема!
Моторы V6 GDI : 3.3;3.5;3.8 я - являются моторами одной генерации и отличия только в объеме , который меняется по средствам расточки блока цилиндров.

Take your Honda or Toyota and drive aggressively for a while and then do a stop from 100k to 0. I bet your brakes will smoke, or at the very least smell like they are burning. I've had an Accord that had horrible brakes that would overheat and fade at the least amount of aggressive driving with OEM pads and rotors. Kia and Hyundai are very good vehicles that I would put up against any Toyota and especially any Honda. And this is coming from a Honda fan boy.
I have and they do not smoke, its a 2006 Honda CRV , also 2007 Rav 4. My breaks are bone stock and with heavy driving and breaking for hours nothing. I never said Hyundai are bad you said it. All I said is that they have far ways to go.
Well I owned a 2005 CRV, but I won't waste time here telling you what I think of that generation of the CRV.
Anyway, the only reason I included Hyundai is because Hyundai owns Kia and they share many of the same parts and technology. All I say, don't knock them until you have actually owned one and can honestly speak about your ownership experiences. I have owned 3 Kia's and 5 Honda's. I can speak to both.

My 2010 Toyota Camry LE 2.5 L dual VVT-I and SMPI with a 6 speed automatic. Has 169HP and it’s a 4 cylinder. My Camry can keep up with this sorento and it might be slightly faster than this.
sorento is 1955 kg and camry are 1500
4 cylinder is no match for 6 cylinder. I drove both - Sorento kicks butt.
