Since returning to the NFL, the Browns didn’t have a single QB start all 16 games. Baker hasn’t missed a game since he became the starter. The most wins by a Browns QB since 1999 was Couch with 22. Baker will tie or surpass that mark in his third year. The Browns were 4-44 in the 3 previous seasons to Baker being drafted, including a winless season. Baker is about to get the Browns to the playoffs. I would say the Browns made the right decision about Mayfield.

here's why that doesn't make total sense, I get his logic, but there is a gap. If whomever gets taken at no.1 is the quarterback you wanted, then yes you would take Rosen. However, if a team a head of you picks a quarterback that you didn't have as the number 1 (and Klatt did say tha tevery team has a different no.1 roughly speaking and thus not every team would want the same guy) then you would still pick your number 1. quarter back. So, unless 3 teams pick a qb in the top 5 pick, it;s very unlikely, logically speaking, that Rosen goes in the top 5 as teams would just pick who they originally wanted.

Yeah, I saw Darnold and Mayfield against Ohio State. Darnold didn't impress me. Mayfield tore my boys up. Newsflash, OSU DBs were not good last season. Heck the Indiana QB put up crazy numbers against them. Darnold did throw 300+ yards in the Cotton Bowl, but he didn't impress me. I would take Mayfield, Rosen or that kid from Wyoming (no particular order), but all before Darnold.

Klatt is vastly superior in analysis than Cowherd. The only thing that matters to Cowherd is the Mayfield was arrested. Nothing else even rates for him to the extent that he doesn't think Mayfield should even get drafted. I don't know where Mayfield will go but I'm pretty sure he will be one of the top picks, regardless of Cowherd's opinion.

Yeah, I saw Darnold and Mayfield against Ohio State. Darnold didn't impress me. Mayfield tore my boys up. Newsflash, OSU DBs were not good last season. Heck the Indiana QB put up crazy numbers against them. Darnold did throw 300+ yards in the Cotton Bowl, but he didn't impress me. I would take Mayfield, Rosen or that kid from Wyoming (no particular order), but all before Darnold.

What I hate about Darnold is his mistakes. The amount of turnovers he gives to the other team is insane and that may translate into his NFL career as a turnover machine. He's not a lock and he only hurt his own stock by not throwing at the combine imo
