Nice tape transport mechanism replacement - sometimes repairing the original is not possible and if it is, it won't be very reliable long-term. Another little radio saved from going to landfill and hopefully added to your collecton.😇 I did say in a previous video that the Realistic SCR-40 looks similar to the Sharp QT-50, and they both probably use the same tape deck assembly, but the QT-50 does not have a plastic handle (it comes with an optional shoulder strap). The side handle on the Realistic is more common with Twin-Cam Sharp decks from 1986. 2 thumbs up. 👍👍
