As a medic I have big problem with the way that they manage "unresponsive" prisoners. If it was a cop that was down and found to be "unresponsive" they would have immediately rendered aid, attempted resuscitation and performed CPR right then and there.
First they basically suffocated a guy that was not struggling when the big guy knelt on him, then they ignored his lack of breath and or pulse and wheeled him to "medical" ensuring his death . What a sad joke. Shame on the Sheriff for characterizing it the way that he did.

Breaking and rebreaking multiple bones over and over for a long period of time. Causing brain damage and blindness and many other injuries. Also causing the family lots of money in vet bills. Then she would pretend she didn’t have a clue what happened to their dog. They suspected something and they got it all on a hidden camera. The judge actually saw the video of her doing it, so it resonated with him and he gave her prison time. She didn’t just “hit” a dog or get 20 years for it. She should have though because it was horrendous and evil. A corrections officer holding down a violent inmate and things going terribly wrong is horrible. Not all of us 'ladies' are ladies who can't look past our emotions.
      1. I don't believe that evidence was planted.
      2. Someone needs to quit buying the dozen donuts for his 2nd breakfast.
      3. Recertification for physical ability needs to happen more frequently (see #2)
      4. This was a known criminal with a substantial rap sheet. I would be overly cautious as well.
      5. The two deputies were fired for not following policy, which is probably the maximum the Captain (?) is allowed to do on his side of the law.
      6. You don't seem to remember him saying that this is open investigation. Did you notice that the little clip doesn't show all the body cameras? It doesn't show recordings from the inner circle officers which would show a clearer picture of what occurred.
      7. The Captain said that once all relevant data is collected, he will turn all of it into the District Attorney. 8. The district attorney will then decide whether to charge one or both deputies with Negligent Homicide, or something similar.
I would also recommend that in the future, keep your ears and mind open until the end when watching videos like this.
I'm not saying that all cops are good, just like I wouldn't say that all video commenter's are good. There are bad eggs in all groups of people.

Ridiculous. I had read that when they are on someone's back like that, cops saying 'you can yell, you can breathe' is NOT the way it is and it is like asthma, you can breathe out (yell) but can't get a breath in. I know you didn't say anything about that, it just came to me and I added it. (Just to clarify as some folks think commenting is being confrontational). You are right. HUGE man.

It also gets me every time, what crimes did he have, was he a harden criminal? Was he on drugs, like trying to say, well, he’s a harden criminal, one more off the streets of Texas isn’t a big deal. A person who murdered a BLM activist who wasn’t committing a crime, just walking down the street, he was of color, the others were white. Well, he killed him, by running up to him and putting a bullet to the back of the head. He got caught, and received 70 years. Well, this was also in Texas, Abbot pardoned him two months after he was found guilty. Was a harden criminal and had beaten and injured 4 people of color before he murdered the BLM activist that was studying to be a Doctor. The man belongs to the White Nationalist movement. You need retraining, or training, on the Constitution. And retraining on proper takedown technique and proper use of a taser.
Also, when you can detain, when you can force identity, when you can arrest (cops mostly don't know the Constitution). And yes, recording the police doing their duties is perfectly fine. Police don't have a right to tell people that they can't record police doing their dutues, or do things so they can't record. . And people can also flip the bird and swear at you. I can't even make out what they're doing on the video because it is so low quality. There is no good reason to have low quality security video in this day and age of advanced technology.

Yes, that knee and heavy weight pressure would make it impossible to adequately inhale and the pepper spray would cause immediate respiratory distress. Did the contraband belong to the prisoner or was it placed there by persons unknown🤔

I think there were way too many officers in that guys room then when they came out, more officers kept coming. That was definitely overload on that prisoner. How ridiculous!!!

This incident happened on April 21. Took them almost a month to get to this point. The Texas Ranger Director says the investigation will continue for sometime. That sounds a whole lot like the beginning of an investigation in which the cops will find "....that while not authorized, this conduct did not rise to the level of criminality...". CALLING IT RIGHT NOW!

      THAT’s MURDER???
I’m not defending anybody here, but I personally know people there are completely honest family men pay taxes just like you and I, even put their lives at risk more than once doing their job…
But lately you see a lot of these cases where the suspect fights you to the nail would do anything it takes even take your gun away and use it against you and they don’t care who is around if there is a mother or a kid they will do whatever it takes to get away… but the moment the police officers get a hold of them and they are fighting them in the end up dying for something they created themselves. I believe that it’s a coward thing to say “that’s Murder”
People see a video like this and run their mouth, but they were there fighting the criminal. They wouldn’t even know what to do…. I’m not saying officers having violated or done terrible things to people in the past, but I’m just saying that not everything means the officers wanted to hurt the criminal… how easy is to act like a normal human being and just follow protocol. He will be alive today., but there’s always a fight in the inevitable happens. They always gonna get you in handcuffs so might as well stop fighting…

@@gustavo8832 I don’t really argue with IGNORANCE. There is NO gun or mother involved in the situation. My definition of a coward is three or four men still choking a PERSON to DEATH AFTER they already have HaNDCUFFS ON. You are just pressed for attention. Stay out of conversations if you can’t READ or COMPREHEND what it’s about. 💯
