At the end of the film when they mentioned a house on long island they needed to talk about is The Amityville Horror house. Another film you guys need to see.
It’s not actually haunted. I’m from Long Island born and raised, and let me tell you…..none of us like the Amityville movies. The house just looks haunted but it’s not.
@@tiamarrow6366 While I agree, you gotta admit, the Long Island folk are kinda just snobs about it. They don't like even the respectful tourism out there.
To be fair, JAY, after one of your 80s horror movie reactions that you said was cool but not super scary last Halloween, Amber challenged the viewers to suggest horror movies that would actually scare the two of you. So a lot of us suggested The Conjuring (and other movies related to the series) in response to that request because we knew it would raise the stakes. So, really, this is on you guys. And, man, the movie did its job, lol!
I *very* rarely get freaked out by horror movies, but this one scared the bejeezus out of me! I've seen this movie several times and even though I know it's coming, the clap at the top of the stairs gets me EVERY time.
I was a Boy Scout in my youth, once I was camping on an old destroyer warship in Quincy Mass. the USS Salem, it was nighttime, and we were walking around the ship, me and 3 other of my buddies saw a man walk out of the hallway Infront of us in the dark (while no one was on the ship besides our troop) he was wearing an old timer navy white outfit, he looked at us then walked right through the wall. we ran away almost crapping our pants. Come to find out there was an old door there that led to the engine room that was sealed shut, and we were far from the only people that have claimed to see something like that. This movie brought me back to that same situation. just thought I would share my story but I'm glad you loved the movie, as a fellow New Englander this movie hits home!!!
The actress who played the family's mom, lily Taylor, also plays in The Haunting...which I really liked and is somewhat psychological. It also stars Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta Jones and Owen Wilson. Check it out 😊
Rob Squad Movie Reactions I recommend starting with "The haunting" (1963) which was an adaptation of the novel "The Haunting of Hill House" which is a horror classic, the 1999 version has a 17% on rotten tomatoes, you've been warned.
The 2nd one is so much scarier. It's set in London and I remember it being on the local news when I was little, so it's definitely based on a true story. I haven't been brave enough to watch any more.
Apple+ has a new documentary for the Enfield haunting, where they dub over the actors with the actual audio recordings from one of the investigators. So good!
Oh, that's a good one. I was always like, WTH Patton, get that guy you're not a General for nothing. LOL "Audrey Rose" with Sir Anthony Hopkins is another good one too.
@@christinadavis1149 I just watched it again last night because it's been awhile since I've seen it. It's such a good movie. For me, it's like a mix of The Shining and Audrey Rose. I think Jay could handle it. 😂
I'm 51 and LOVE scary movies. The scariest to me is The Exorcist. I love the original Omen movies as well. Anything dealing with the devil or demons is my cup of tea because they are real in my belief. When I watched the Conjuring for the first time alone, it scared me to death. It's fantastic. Kudos to J for watching it!
Hell yeah! I call that run of movies from the late 60's to the 70's "Catholic horror" movies, due to the priests and exorcism stuff. Rosemary's Baby and The Sentinel are in that mix too.
They are very, very real! They are sick and perverted creatures and they absolutely hate mankind! And they are extremely dangerous! Have absolutely nothing to do with them. You will regret it. The real truth and uncovering of their real motives and activities are uncovered in an ancient book known as the Bible.
I envy you. I'm a huge fan of horror movies, but I have the misfortune of not being scared by them. It's like a curse. At most, they make me nervous. But I do manage to get into the situation. During the 90 minutes that they last, I can believe anything without hesitation. At least I do. Best regards.
The part the Ed and Lorraine Warren were doing their conference , there is a lady up front that's grey headed with her hair up. That's the real Lorraine Warren. Ed Warren died of a heart attack in 2006. Lorraine Warren died I believe in 2017 I think I can't remember. But they did over 1000 investigations in paranormal.
@AlphaOmegaKnight77658 Yes, actually they are after so many years! In which people are trying to prove paranormal isn't real. They proven Amityville house was a hoax, the Haunting in Connecticut is a hoax, also this case here this movie. All investigations from Warren's.
@@HidingFromFate does it really matter? If the Warrens provided a solution for the people they visited, and both parties are happy with the results it's all fair. Movies will always be embellisjed anyway, can't let the truth stand in the way of a good story!
@@HidingFromFate the movies were embellished. The real investigations weren't like the movies. You can actually watch the real Lorraine in action on the series Paranormal State. She was called in whenever the investigators suspected demons were involved. They would have her (or other psychics) walk through and give their impressions before they'd discuss any aspect of a case with them. It was scary how accurate she would be according to the people living there. Her and another one Chip Coffey. The rest were kind of hit or miss. I don't believe much in psychics but there's something about her and Chip.
I still recommend the 1963 B&W version of 'The Haunting'. No special effects, just downright scary script & acting, and leaving it all to you and your mind! Fundamentally the Scariest movie I've ever seen! Highly Recommended!! :)
I agree - that movie scared the crap out of me more than anything else - and as you say, no special effects, it's all in your head and it's scary. I'm pretty old now and frankly still afraid to read the book it was based on
Is that the one about the story of Hill House? When you walk at Hill House, you never walk alone? If so, it scared the crap out of me when I was a child!
YEEESSSS!!! Im so hyped to watch this reaction! The Conjuring Movies are the best horror movies to come out in a long time. And most of them are based on true stories. I can’t wait to watch Jay & Amber’s reaction to this!
This is one of my favorite scary movies of all time. It's based on a true story but very loosely. They changed a lot to make it "scarier" and amp up the fear factor. What's wild about that though, is that I heard the actual family tell the story of what really happened and it is ten times scarier than what the movie showed. For example, the witch ghost was a woman they all saw the same way in their dreams, who had spiked wood hands like broken branches coming out the sleeves of her dress. That story still freaks me out. This movie is scary but I think they could've scared people even more if they stayed true to the original story.
It's because the Warren's didn't really have anything to do with it. According to the family, the Warrens made it worse but people wanted to hear about cases the Warren's experienced since Ed had already passed away and Lorraine was sick. I think she passed away a few years after The Conjuring 2 was release. I think The Conjuring 2 was better than this one though. There was more documentation from other sources for that case, plus it shows what Lorraine had seen in that scene of the exorcism of Maurice.
@@JustTanya. The whole levitating chair part happened, but it was upstairs, and during a seance. After that happened the father threw the Warren's out of the house. The real Bathsheeba didn't kill her son or unalive herself; they both lived into an old age... but Hollywood did get some of the pieces of the story correct, just not the main ones.
@@scapito Well, the chair didn't exactly levitate. From what the daughters and the husband saw, the chair that the mom was sitting in was shoved back and thrown down with her in it while they were doing the seance. She was hurt again and that's when the husband kicked the Warrens and their crew out. I've seen an episode of A Haunting with the Perrons telling what really happened. Andrea's book was a bit confusing because the timelines kept switching back and forth but it's crazy how little the Warrens had to do with this case. They did take a lot of liberties with this film. I think that why I prefer The Conjuring 2. There was already documentation about the Enfield haunting done before the Warrens went there. They were dealing with the Amityville House at that time. So, I guess because of that and the fact they called the Enfield house, Enfield's version of the Amityville house, the Warrens were suggested to go. They definitely did more investigating there than they did at The Conjuring house.
I like to listen to you guys in the background while I relax and unwind, all was going well till Jay screamed when he saw the thing on the armoire, I nearly threw my paint brush across the room in sheer panic lmao
This is absolutely based on a true story. I live about 20-30 mins away from the real Conjuring house in Harrisville, RI and about an hour away from the Warrens Museum in Monroe, CT. You can actually stay overnight in the Conjuring house, but personally I’d wait til they get new owners, IYKYK. The true story, as told by the Perron daughters, is that the Warrens investigated the house and did a seance. Then Mrs. Perron started acting odd, so Mr. Perron tried to throw them out of the house for fear for his wife. When Ed Warren protested, Mr. Perron punched Ed in the face and threw them out. The Perrons lived with the entity for years.I hope you continue with the series, cheers.
No, its all BS. The Perrons made it up, just like the Lutz's made up the Amityville story. Everything the Warrens investigated that I know of has been debunked as fake and made up, and the movie studio took the fake stories and further exaggerated them. The Perrons, and the people who have owned the house in recent years to rent out to horror and paranormal fans for exorbitant rates are the only ones who've claimed anything supernatural has happened in that house. Other families that lived in the house for decades never reported anything unusual happening there. There was a Bathsheba who lived nearby, but she was never accused of witch craft in her life, didn't hang herself and had not conflict with the family that lived there. Basically the Perron's researched the area, came up with a story, and then lied about a real woman who's been dead for over a 100 years. Sad, but it made them money.
*Never again?? You still have to watch the conjuring 2 and 3!!!! Amber stepped out of her comfort zone with music so now it's your turn with the scary movies. Yaasssssss!*
I am over here cracking up at y'all! I love this.. I am a horror movie fanatic. Especially paranormal movies. They scare me like no other. But I love being scared
@Tessmage_Tessera I didn't know 43 yr olds need cheap jump scares. No, I just don't think demonic possession is scary. Do I have to feel bad about that? Do I have to pretend to be cool? 🤷
@@Tchika I agree somewhat that The Exorcist 1973 wasn’t very scary. But it was definitely shocking (and one of my favorite movies, especially since I was born in DC and raised in the Northern Virginia area)! Especially some of Regan’s lines and scenes in the movie. The “let Jesus f*** y**” line/scene was the most shocking!
The real Annabelle didn't look like that in real life. The real Annabelle doll looks like just a regular Raggedy Ann doll, which might make it even creepier because you'd think it was just a regular doll.
They tried too hard to make Annabelle look wrong. I always think scary movies with less 'showing' are more effective. The gaps our brains fill in are way more frightening. (I was going to give you examples, but fortunately realized that might ruin some movies for you).
I agree. I think what the movies don't show is more frightening than what they do show. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a perfect example. I think it's because those movies force you to use your imagination.
@@malkakynatas8389 That makes sense. I haven't thought of that. I guess was thinking a doll that old would be in the public domain, but I don't know if that applies to toys.
I read The Exorcist, laughed all the way thru it. Saw the movie, didn't turn my bedroom lights off for a week. I have a fairly good imagination, but I can read any "scary" story or book, and it doesn't phase me. But, man, between the creativity of the directors, the talent of the actors, the fantastic make-up and effects ... I lose it when I watch the movies. And I'm totally with ya J - "AWWW, it's got a doll? Come on!"
From what I remember, Bathsheba Sherman's grave was constantly vandalized, so they had to remove it. The real Conjuring house and its history is crazy. The family who lived in the house said the movie barely touched the activities that occurred
The real Lorraine Warren was in the audience of their presentation, she’s wearing her hair in a bun. I saw it in the comments: yes! The Changeling with George C Scott and the black and white (1963) The Haunting! Scary and spooky! Not scary movies, but have you guys seen The Elephant Man with John Hurt and Dog Fight with River Phoenix and Lili Taylor (who was in this movie). Excellent reaction guys!!!!!
@ 10:53 "Were moving" Hell yeah. Thats the last night Im staying there. Even if I was the kid who saw it and my parents didnt believe me. Take me to grandmas.I'll live there. Yeah 10 minutes in this movie would be over if it was my family.
I watch tons of horror films and nothing really bothers me, but when demons and Satan are involved, they freak me out. This film was one of the best. There are several films in this franchise which were pretty dang scary. Knowing they were based on real events, really made them even scarier.
Ed and Lorraine were also called into the Amityville Horror house. (Another great true story). The pictures they came away with were amazing. I became friends with Lorraine before her death. She taught me so much about the paranormal. She was the sweetest woman. I miss her still.
I never knew I lived only 10 minutes from this house for most of my life. Wasn't filmed in RI though. The house in the movie looks nothing like the real house. Also heard comedian Matt Rife wants to buy the real house.
The "foot-tugging" scene in The Conjuring always reminds me of the time I stayed at a friend's house for a while when I was in high school and slept on the floor of his room. The family and friends had talked about the house being haunted and they all had stories about things they'd seen but I never saw any of that and didn't believe in ghosts anyway. Then I woke up one morning to what felt like someone tugging on the sleeve of my sweatshirt. I opened my eyes and (1) I wasn't wearing a sweatshirt, I was wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt (but could still feel the feeling of a "sleeve" being pulled over my hand), and (2) I saw and felt my arm being pulled toward the closet. I still had a bit of sleep-paralysis happening so I had to fight super hard to pull my arm back but, once I did, I immediately jumped up and vacated the room (confirming that I actually was awake and, if it was a dream, I don't know what moment I actually moved from dreaming to sleep because it was seamless). This and variations of this happened a couple of times in that house/room, including once where I woke up in the morning before everyone else was up. My friend was still asleep in his bed, so I quietly walked across the room to grab some clothes from my duffel bag. As I walked by his big mirror above his dresser, I looked over at it and didn't see myself in the mirror at all. There was just the reflection of the room. Then I turned and saw my body still sleeping on the floor. It freaked me out and, in that moment of fright and confusion, I immediately felt my body get spun around and fall backwards (in what felt like slo-mo) onto my sleeping body and, as soon as I landed, my eyes opened and I sat up, awake. Now unquestionably awake, I noticed that it was the exact same time of early morning with the light coming through the window exactly the same way, my friend was asleep in his bed just as I'd seen him, etc. I'm not saying those were supernatural occurrences. I still don't really believe in ghosts or anything. BUT those were definitely weird experiences that the foot-pulling scene in "The Conjuring" and any horror movie with people being pulled toward a closet or armoire remind me of. And though I don't really believe in out of body stuff, because of that incident I can't exactly dismiss it 100% either. It felt SUPER real. Fwiw, I assume the weird "out of body" mirror one was actually a dream, though I will point out that I never have dreams where the location looks exactly like it does IRL and everything looks and feels real like it did in that one. My dreams are always wacky, with people and locations that are weird mish-mashes of multiple people and places, and there are bizarre, illogical, often complicated storylines going on that don't make any narrative sense together once I wake up. So, having a dream where the room looks exactly like it does IRL, the time of day is exactly the time of day that I "woke up" into, and everything seeming totally normal except either part of my body is being tugged toward a closet or I'm out of the body and can't see myself in the mirror is super out of the ordinary for me. I chalk up the "arm tugging" experience to a sleep paralysis induced half-dream state (the same way some people see a "crone" or other weird face), though it's worth noting that I've never experienced anything like that before or since being in that house. I've woken up to sleep paralysis MAYBE a couple of times over the decades but there was never anything dream-like attached to it. Just the inability to move for a minute. Actually, that's not true. There was one other time and it was semi-recently (though I try not to think too much about it). I had my first sleep paralysis moment in probably 20 years less than a year ago. It was the day my mom died. She lived just a few apartments away from me, having just moved here from another state to be closer to family. I woke up to what felt exactly like the weight and movement of a cat jumping onto the bed and walking slowly up the comforter next to my body (a feeling I'm super familiar with, having been married to a vet tech and fostering many animals over the years, despite not having any pets now). I tried to move but couldn't, but I could hear what sounded like a whispery voice echoing a word that sounded like "me-oh" over and over again. Not "meow" like a cat, not the sound of a cat meowing, but a human voice echoing "me-oh" over and over and getting louder, like a sound sample being put through a delay pedal and then feeding back on itself. I fought to move my body, finally broke the sleep paralysis, managed to slap my hand at the spot where it felt like "the cat" was, and said, "No... go away." Then it stopped and I was fully awake. That afternoon, I called my mom and she didn't answer her phone. I figured she was asleep, so left a message. She didn't return it after a few hours, which was weird for her (she pretty much always called me back within a few minutes and certainly no more than an hour or so later). I kept calling and she kept not answering, but I just assumed she was probably sleeping. Then, when she still hadn't called back late that night, I went over to her apartment, and she didn't answer her door. I went and checked the parking lot and saw her car was there, so I knew she was home. Once the landlords got back into their office, I got them to let me into her apartment and found her dead on the floor next to her bed. Again, the rational part of my brain assumes this was just a sleep paralysis thing and some sort of coincidental timing but I have to admit that it does make me think back on stories my mom had told me about family members being visited by spouses and siblings just after they died. I never bought into it but my mom was really into that stuff. Her favorite story was about her grandfather waking up the night after his wife died when he felt someone sit on the bed. When he looked, his wife was sitting there, smiling, and told him she'd come back to see him one more time before he passed. Less than a year later, he dropped dead in his driveway and they said he was dead before he hit the ground. Did his wife come back that one last time to take him with her? Idk, but my mom loved telling that story and the feeling of something jumping onto my bed and moving up my mattress at roughly the same time my mom died does make me think back to that story and wonder.
I don't get creeped out often but the original movie THE EXORCIST is a must . If you can handle a good scare. Also THE FINAL DESTINATION 1 and 2 is a fun creepy ride.
I was SOOOO EXCITED when I saw you were reacting to this. This movie is one of my top favorite Horror movies. Me and my 6 yr old and 13 yr old daughters love this movie and the others and they like the annabelle movies. My oldest daughter likes The conjuring 2 the best. My favorite screen in this movie is when the ghost boy claps his hands beside Carolyn
Me too... read the book at 13 and saw the movie at 14.. even though I knew what was going to happen, it scarred me for life. I still get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I watch it.
THE CONJURING 2: THE ENFIELD POLTERGEIST .........I'm English and I remember reading newspaper articles and seeing reports on the television news about this Poltergeist, everyone in England was talking about this in school and at home .......
Ed and Loraine are the "Ghost hunters" (For lack of a better term) who were also the ones who investigated the Amityville House. (That is touched on in "The Conjuring 2")
I LOVE these movies for the adrenaline rush, sort of like roller coasters, which I also love😁😉🤪….i swear the more you watch scary movies the more you do get used to it👍
I remember someone leaving a comment about how there was nothing like seeing the joy on Ambers face when she hears horns ( it may have been a Chicago song or Gerry Raferty). I think I just saw even more joy on her face when she was watching Jay get freaked out during parts of this movie.😂 And just when she was enjoying being scared. Also, I ran across a clip of Joey King (she played the daughter who’s foot kept getting jerked) talking in an interview with Howard Stern about making this movie when she was 12, and how she developed a strange blood platelet disorder that gave her bruises just like the mother character. The makeup artists on set thought she’d snuck around and used their makeup to make fake bruises on herself. She had to go to the hospital every day for iron treatments. But then as soon as she was done filming and returned home the blood disorder completely went away. She hasn’t had any problems with it since.
Yeah, I've had that happened to me in this house more times than I can count. Not just my ankles either, my arms too. It would scratch me with it's claws, I could feel it and I'd have scratches on me that I didn't have before. It actually still happens but not as often. This movie just reminds me of what I went through when we first moved into this house. It's done worse to me but it is still terrifying because there's nothing you can do to stop it.
@@DrJohnnyFever. Yeah, it's been ongoing for over 20 years. If I could have afforded it, I would have moved out. Now being disabled for over 10 years, not much I can do. Even if Jay doesn't typically care for them, I appreciate you taking one for the team, for us horror fanatics.
Also, as long as I'm triple posting? I might as well horrorsplain to the husband. People get hooked on scary movies for the exact same reason that they get hooked on roller coasters. The first time you're about to take the big drop as a young'un? You objectively don't want to. Most people only force themselves in order to save face in front of their parents/siblings/friends/whathaveyou. Because why would you voluntarily choose to drop 100 feet straight down? Well, because, under those specific circumstances? It's 100% safe, and you know it. So once you get acclimated to the nervousness that precedes the adrenaline spike? You kinda stop noticing everything except the adrenaline spike. It becomes a high you chase. Ipso facto? Spirit Halloween. There ya go, you're welcome.
I agree. I am unashamedly scared heights. However, the US Navy MADE me jump out of perfectly good aircraft, including HALO jumps. In my service I had 58 training and combat jumps. No joke. However, I hope that I never have to do it again. But I was a bit of an adrenaline junkie while I was in.

And for the most part, that's what I did for the rest of my service, about 5 1/2 years. Though you're probably going to laugh, I figured out that I had no problem with night jumps. It makes no sense, I know. Most guys it was the opposite, they were terrified of jumping into the dark. I looked at it this way. If I couldn't see the ground, I had nothing to be afraid of.
Glad someone said it lol@@justindenney-hall5875
I'll second that! I liked the 1999 "Haunting' as well!
Rob Squad Reactions Skip it, watch the 1963 one and afterward watch "Sister Act 2: Back in the habit" followed by "Sister Act 3: This Ain't Kosher"✡
💯♥️
The Exorcist 1973 is a must watch!
It's definitely a must watch for The Rob Squad!!!!
So good!
The Devil Made Me Do It one wasn't as scary as these two, just more of thriller than horror.
The changeling was George C Scott is a fantastic spooky movie
Oh, that's a good one. I was always like, WTH Patton, get that guy you're not a General for nothing. LOL "Audrey Rose" with Sir Anthony Hopkins is another good one too.
@@JustTanya. Changeling and Audrey Rose are both classics!!
They definitely should watch more of those older 70's horror. Even 'The Sentinel', which though not great still had a few good jumps.
I totally agree. That’s the one movie that scares me still to this day. But it’s a great watch. I recommend Rob & Amber check it out.
Man, if I would believe in demons or the devil, I would feel like taunting them by watching that kind of movies. 🤔
Hell yeah! I call that run of movies from the late 60's to the 70's "Catholic horror" movies, due to the priests and exorcism stuff. Rosemary's Baby and The Sentinel are in that mix too.
@samhainkid yes, Rosemary's Baby is definitely included! Scary stuff!
@12:05 Bro literally pulled the covers over his head 😂
I am sooo happy that you finally saw this great movie. Now you need to see the Conjuring 2...even better. Great reaction!
Annabelle movies arent good. The Nun movies arent good. The movie in the Conjuring Universe worth watching is La Curse of La Llorona...great movie.
I like the conjuring movies but the nun freaks me out. I cannot look at it. It’s so scary to me.
I liked both The Nun movies... the first one a little more
@@fabian4ever69 I agree. I really liked La Curse Of La Llorona. I need to see Conjuring 2 soon. I liked part 1.
Heard they were fake or not true paranormal investigators. Whole controversy surrounding them and the real conjuring house.
@AlphaOmegaKnight77658 Yes, actually they are after so many years! In which people are trying to prove paranormal isn't real. They proven Amityville house was a hoax, the Haunting in Connecticut is a hoax, also this case here this movie. All investigations from Warren's.
@@AlphaOmegaKnight77658 Yes, fake or at least highly embellished.
I love that movie!!!
You can't go wrong with Vincent Price when it comes to horror movies. He's the GOAT. 😎👍
I love old horror movies. I try to watch them during Halloween each year. Last year I watched the 1920's silent horror classic Nosferatu.
Best haunted house movie in last 20 years imo. James Wan is a genius.
I love watching you guys. It's like watching a movie with two friends.
Jay's reaction to the pictures falling from the wall at 12:05 and to Bathsheba at 13:48 were EVERYTHNG 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
YEEESSSS!!! Im so hyped to watch this reaction! The Conjuring Movies are the best horror movies to come out in a long time. And most of them are based on true stories. I can’t wait to watch Jay & Amber’s reaction to this!
If it’s a ghost story it ain’t true
This is one of my favorite scary movies of all time. It's based on a true story but very loosely. They changed a lot to make it "scarier" and amp up the fear factor. What's wild about that though, is that I heard the actual family tell the story of what really happened and it is ten times scarier than what the movie showed. For example, the witch ghost was a woman they all saw the same way in their dreams, who had spiked wood hands like broken branches coming out the sleeves of her dress. That story still freaks me out. This movie is scary but I think they could've scared people even more if they stayed true to the original story.
Agree! Have you kept up with the latest drama surrounding the new Conjuring house owner?
I read, "NOPE NEVER AGAIN" and knew this was going to be good .. lol
The Perrons lived with the entity for years.I hope you continue with the series, cheers.
if you know, you know 😁
I live fifteen minutes away and I absolutely confirm this.
I'm in Cumberland RI. Also 20 mins away. I think everything in RI is 20-30 mins away from everything lol
the perron family lived with the entity for 10 years
No, its all BS.

"The Exorcist" (1973) is widely considered the scariest movie ever made. I think Jay is ready for it. Lol
I never understood that. I think it's scary for religious people. If you are unbothered by demonic stuff, it's rather boring, tbh 😬
@@renaissancepoet agreed!! The exorcist from (1973) is the scariest movie I ever watched. Jay is not ready for it but let’s just say he is lol

Hard to believe it's been 11 years since it came out
I loved the Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, these are my 2 favorite scary movies!!!! Please watch #2!!
Number 2 is a masterpiece!
One of the reasons they didn't use the original look was due to trademark issues
Come on!"
Im like that with horror movies/games. I can watch any movie but freak out with games.
That reminds me of FRIENDS...
when Joey put the book, The Shining, in the freezer. 😅
From what I remember, Bathsheba Sherman's grave was constantly vandalized, so they had to remove it. The real Conjuring house and its history is crazy. The family who lived in the house said the movie barely touched the activities that occurred
I was “lucky” to watch it late at the cinema with a friend. We were *COMPLETELY ALONE* in the cinema. 😅

Yeah 10 minutes in this movie would be over if it was my family.
YES!!!!! I love this movie! You guys gotta watch Donnie Darko
You Should watch ''The Exorcist'' for Halloween, the absolute scary movie. thank you Amber and Jay for sharing this moment with us.
I never knew I lived only 10 minutes from this house for most of my life. Wasn't filmed in RI though. The house in the movie looks nothing like the real house. Also heard comedian Matt Rife wants to buy the real house.
The actual Annabelle doll was a Ragedy Ann doll.

The original Evil Dead is a scary ride! And it's filmed in a truly unique perspective. Some great jolts and fun story. Creepy Good!
This was the best comedy movie ever made. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I watched this..
The scariest part is yanking the girl's ankle in bed. I've dreamed that several times. Sometimes they slowly pull me onto the floor.
Yeah, I've had that happened to me in this house more times than I can count. Not just my ankles either, my arms too. It would scratch me with it's claws, I could feel it and I'd have scratches on me that I didn't have before. It actually still happens but not as often.

@@carriemichelle322 But will he love it as much as "Sister Act 3: This Ain't Kosher"?🤨
Back to the Future…
@@carriemichelle322 I agree I know everyone has different tastes in movies and I’m not going to like every movie that’s suggested but I haven’t been that excited lately about some of the stuff they have been reacting to.
You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for y’all to react to this movie. But yall can’t stop now. Gotta go all the into the Conjuring Universe
This is based on a true story, that’s the crazy thing about it!!!!
😂 There’s nothing crazy about it. The Warrens were known fraudsters and con artists.
Amber should wait til Jay is just waking up in bed and yell "LOOK WHAT SHE MADE ME DO" !!! 😂 HAHAHA Awesome way to wake up
Don’t watch the Exorcist. Just don’t.
The ending is my favorite part. When the toy goes off and you can't see Rory anymore, it means he moved onto the other side. He was finally at peace.
You HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!!! WHO IN THE HECK DECIDED YALL SHOULD WATCH THIS??!!😮😮😮😮
One of my favorite horror films ever. Never thought I'd laugh while watching the Counjuring lol Jay's reaction and Amber loving it 😂😂🤣😭💀
20:22 haha that's gotta be brain to brain coupling/neuro-syncrony. My group of 5 best friends do that ALL the time lol. My favorite was trying to remember an actor's name during a sand volleyball game & all of a sudden one of my bro's shouts out "Ron Perlman!" & then gets a confused look on his face because he had no idea who that was LOL! Ever since we've noticed we ride the same brainwave quite often.
She knew the answer to his question was Poltergeist almost before he even spoke it haha
Your reactions are the best. When Jay hid under the blanket, you know he was freaking out !
You need to watch the entire series! The conjuring movies, the Annabelle movies, the Nun movies, and La Llorona! I had watched so many reactions to this universe, that I decided to watch them all myself. I absolutely fell in love with this franchise!
I am so pleased you watched this. One of the better supernatural horrors around for me. The next one is also very good.
Jay comes out swinging at the start of the video, lol
The mother is played by Lili Taylor. Remember her. She is one of the most underrated actresses in films.
I waited for the longest time to watch the Conjuring movies because the commercials creeped me out so much. Then, when I finally watched them I loved them. I especially love the way Ed and Lorraine are portrayed. Great reaction!
😂😂😂 i almost choked every time Jay jumped 😂😂😂
I’m glad y’all are starting the conjuring franchise! But the question about what Lorraine saw in that vision will be answered in the conjuring 2!
Can’t wait for the next 1🫶
One of my favorite horror movies. If you haven't seen Hereditary yet, you should check that out. That's my all time fav horror film
My daughter and I seldom watch scary movies, but we love watching Amber and Jay watch scary movies. Jay mirrors our scary feelings and Amber mirrors some of our chuckles. Thank you.
Seeing Jay react to Jump scares is my new favourite thing.
My favourite and scariest one😂😂😂can't wait to see their reactions
This is funny Rob. You're right on edge and your wife just can't stop grinning.
Jay be like nuh uh nope😏…priceless reaction😎
Whew!!
Hang in there Jay!!
You gotta watch the 2nd one to find out what Lorraine saw that freaked her out so much. The 2nd one is also the tie in for the Nun movies. Was every bit as scary as the first one. Loved it!
The actress who played the mother stars in another paranormal movie called "The Haunting". It also stars Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Owen Wilson.
29:14 That's ANOTHER movie you should watch
Oh yeah, the Conjuring universe...
I hope you do them all, they're fantastic....❤u guys
I saw this in the theater and I was yelling "oh hell no!" Ppl were screaming and jumping lol
My bf is from Burrillville, RI and conjuring is his favorite movie. We've been to the farmhouse several times as personal guests of the andrea perron.
I had an appointment to visit the Warren home and see the collection. I was in Connecticut when I got the message that Lorraine's health was in a decline and they were postponing tours. Unfortunately she passed away shortly after and I never got to visit.
