Thanks for the thumbs up steve - enjoyed that. I like the sound of the steep one there. Yeah, I can hear you and Keren now - you two are a riot. And I agree a great spot for a vamp by the tarn. Well, a fantastic time had - the hills were looking super. All the best. Mark
Thanks Mark...a great day to be out in the hills
@@atrampinthehills.841 A pleasure steve. Yeah, all good.
Wow the heather is looking magnificent now. Looks like nice walking weather. Karen’s off pace setting again. Absolutely stunning area this Steven. Oh no that wind has stolen Karen’s hat! Not a well trodden path if it is! Number 55, what a stunner. Wait number 56! Mmm, that vegetable soup looks lovely. Gosh all the way to Keswick, thats a long days hike! So much wonderful purple heather. That bridge is huge! Bye Karen 👋 lovely views and a bench on number 57. 👍
Thanks folks..Pretty much a perfect walk..Hills...Sunshine...Heather and Soup..what more could a man ask for?
I've been up Bleaklow from all sides, but never from Glossop. Great scenery, (as to be expected there). It was good to see a new route. Thanks Steve.
Thanks for watching mate
Stunning hike, Steven. I really love that route. The more you can stay away from the Insta crowd, the better. Rocking the hair cut, too. Really suits you. Thanks for sharing.
Evening Chris...it's a great route...if you ever fancy another meet up / walk..give us a shout
@atrampinthehills.841 I thought after my last effort you would give me a wide berth 😂
Stunning Steve.
You’ve got all the beautiful heather too. It’s stunning here 👍
Many thanks...its a smashing area for the walker
Ahhhh.. bloody brilliant! We just adore Bleaklow and this is our absolutely favourite way up, Yellowslacks.. love the name and it's just stunning isn't it mate. ✨ And by a glorious coincidence, Doctors Gate has become our favourite way back down! 😊 The names carved on the stones, some from over 100 years ago.. bloody brilliant ain't it. Beautiful scenes. 💚
Thanks folks...Bleaklow is such a special place
Very good place for hiking, I am also a hiker and I love to see this kind of landscapes. I enjoyed watching. Keep up the great work.
Thanks mate...appreciate that...i shall check out your channel
Bleaklow is awesome from whichever way you approach it. It may not have the many features to endear us as Kinder does, but I love for that. All of my three worst falls in the peak have been in Bleaklow. Oh and I always laugh at Shittern Clough too.
Evening Mike....lovely to hear from you...Bleaklow has always held a special place in my heart ever since my first visit...i wonder who named it Shittern clough?
Can’t go wrong with the Bleaklow area, I like it up there. Doctor’s Gate is a nice route back, especially with the heather in bloom.
Thanks Andy...yeah the Doctors gate route is fantastic...there used to be a few wet boggy areas around there a few years ago , thankfully slabbed now...cheers mate
You did pick a windy day for the walk. Always climbed on Bleaklow from the east, never the west YET. I will have to get over to Glossop and try your route. Thanks for the video.
Thanks..i am sure the wind follows me around...it's a great way up/ down...you must try it one day.
Brilliant that mate. Bleaklow certainly delivers the views.
Thanks mate...yeah a special place.
Looked very tiring this one guys for you ..Caren nearly lost her cap …can’t believe you’ve only got a few more to do guys ..it’s been a great challenge..&I’ve loved every one of them hills & peaks ..great entertainment..thank you both so much 😊Ruth .
Thanks Ruth..yes it was a bit tiring, especially that last little hill after a long walk...we are ticking them off nicely...just want to get them done now...thanks Ruth.
Nah then, ey up me duck.
Tis looking lovely now all the heather is in full bloom and yes, those views were stunning fella.
Ay a great week me owd 🙂👍
Thanks Soggy..it sure is a lovely place now that the heather is in bloom
Hi, how are you? Excellent moment, thank you for sharing 🙂👍
Thanks for that mate...glad you could watch
some lovely views there steve, and the weather was perfect for hiking.
Thanks Ken...yeah a perfect day
Two treks this time! Nice. A full day!
I really like the views from Higher Shelf Stones, overlooking Manchester and around, especially for a wildcamp. I was there a year or so back and I think I need to re-visit the area. Thank you for your tour Steve (and Karen). Cheers, Warren :)
Hi Warren..thanks for taking a look...it's an amazing area, if you revisit, give us a shout, would love a camp up there with you ..
Hi Steve, now that was a cracking walk, loved the music with the views, also was amongst the heather last weekend is a pleasure, never been up Bleaklow looks like i need to make the effort, thought the walk was going to be never ending when you mentioned Keswick LOL, anyways you getting through your Peak 75 series nicely, enjoyed this one cheers nigel
Thanks Nigel...Really enjoyed this one...one of our fave areas
Nice one Steve, where you told Karen to go to the pinnacle for a photo was class, it's bit like Scotland Mountains channel he walks miles to ridge points away from the camera just for 6 seconds of footage in his video - really goes all out on 'youtube miles' -- Doctors gate is an old pack horse route, noted as Docto Talbotes Gate from 1627 after Dr John Talbot worked on making the path to its summit better
Thanks Buddy...yeah i watch Murray he is epic
Fantastic walk 👍
Thanks mate
It's beautiful out there!
The soup looked yummy😋
A few less people this hike😁 Must have been nice and peaceful out there😊
Thanks Age...it sure was a day of nice views...the soup was good although i did have to make sure i wiped it off my beard after eating it...a day to remember.
Did manage a day hike on Kinder last week as we were up that way. The heather is superb right now. That looked a really good walk - I'll pit it on my list. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Roger...hope you enjoyed your day on Kinder...thanks for watching mate
👍another two ticked off. It sounded a bit blustery up there (when isn't it😂) that looked a proper little camp spot
Cheers Rob...always blustery where ever i go...that little pool looked lovely..a bit rough and overgrown for camping though which is a shame as it would have made a cracking little camp
bit of a pull out of glossop it looked as windy up there just the same for me and my son a few weeks ago . 2 more ticked off 👌👌👌
Cheers mate...shall be checking out your latest video soon [ just eating me tea ]
A beautiful hike. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching mate.
Lovely shots of such beautiful landscape. Such a pleasure to join you both on your adventures. Soup looked good too. Music atmospheric too. Have to say very impressed with all your channel links just found out and visited them. You are very creative in photo presentation on your channels. What camera do you have for those cracking cinematic scenes ?
Thanks Shanita...it was a cracking day out..This particular photo for the thumbnail was taken on the Gopro...although sometimes i take my Nikon 3300 or a little Canon powershot..i love taking photographs.
@@atrampinthehills.841 I have a GoPro too but no way near as good as yours. Probably an older model. Thanks for update though.
