Hey Dan, I can appreciate a loader operator who knows how to do math. Put 22-tons on your back, come out the scales like a king baby! Listen to that Perterbuilt power through them gears, just as I thought, that engine has got power. It makes your tank truck look like childs play in comparison lol. Hello Dan, so what I'm gathering is the state of Florida is really trying to monitor the smaller trailers with the weight because most would just automatically think 5 axle or just common law across the country is 80,000 pds. I guess that makes since the shorter the trailer displaces your weight differently than say like a 45 foot bulk/gas tanker vs a 53 foot van trailer. But my guess is they focus on the dumps and bulk trailers. Great video. It's been awhile since I have been on your channels last video I seen was you was washing dump trucks... I guess I have a lot of catching up to do.
You gather correctly but they don’t just focus on dump wagons, all trailers to include those little container trailers that come out of the port. No one is immune. Every State has inner bridge limits but I don’t know to what level of enforcement they follow. In Georgia, they don’t mess with us but in SC back in 2016 I got an innerbridge violation on HWY 17 in a roll off straight truck. For most truckers, they don’t have to worry about it if they have a 45 foot or longer trailer but us dirt dwellers have to be mindful of the limits
@@dansvlogtrucking yeah I haul fuel now for pilot flying j. But use to haul cement in bulk tankers and pulled frameless dump for a few years too. In the areas I ran it seemed as if Pennsylvania was the only state that would give us a fit about mainly roads having weight limits on them. MD, WV, VA didn't seem to be to bad.

Yup! Unless I volunteer to run to Jacksonville to help our southern plants. I like getting off at 2-2:30 in the afternoon! But 99% of the time, I work 4:30 am to 3:30-4pm
