When I use Sally Hansen on my legs I also add Coppertone glitter tanning lotion to it for a little sparkle. I never wear a dress without it! At 77 I regret some of my tanning days years ago… but those beach vacations were so much fun. Love your chats always look forward to them… take care.
Without knowing you had done a video on the leg makeup, I had just purchased it today and had never heard of it before. So when I saw your video I was pleasantly surprised to see you talking about it and describing how to apply it. I wanted it for my granddaughter’s wedding reception and so glad to hear it doesn’t rub off on clothing. Can’t wait to try it now!

I too love Sally Hansen's leg makeup and have used it for years. At 84 my fair freckled skin is now covered in not-attractive sun spots that Sally Hansen covers beautifully.

*The tanning segment reminds me of my teen years (in the sixties) where l would go dancing on weekends. I did my hair a very light blonde and every Friday night l applied my instant tanner.* Then came the terrible day l could NOT get my tanner ANYWHERE. I decided to go dancing with my very pale skin. I laugh now because everyone was so solicitous. They thought l was ill because l was so pale. Over the years my skin has darkened to a more natural shade and my hair is naturally light blonde. Thanks for bringing that back.
Heidibee I remember QT tanning lotion and maybe Bain du Soleil made some too. lol Also the mercurochrome and baby oil "suntan" lotion we used when laying out.
Yep- my girlfriend and I would put a blanket on the floor and do our QT on her bedroom floor. Great memory! AND I have been, for years, doing the sally Hansen exactly like RXTSTR does! I’m 71 and I still care the easiest of ways to hide some skin discoloring - I just never told anyone. Now I have!! You just had a great story and I had to add to it! @@cattycorner8 I'm 66 I remember also doing the QT Self tanning lotion. Back in the early seventies they didn't have any such thing as sunscreen! I also did the iodine and baby oil and also I used Swedish tanning Beauty lotion, Coppertone and Hawaiian Tropic oil! Silly me I would stay out all day and get the worst sunburn. When you're a teenager you don't listen to anything anybody tells you! I had to learn the hard way! Thanks catty-corner for bringing back some of my old memories!

I have enjoyed and used quite a few ideas but probably one of my favorites is the Sally Hansen leg makeup. I had just bought Sally Henson a week or so ago, used it and didn’t like it. I used to much. BUT after watching you talk about it and demonstrating how you use it, some dos and don’ts, I tried it again. I love it! I have a drawer full of sunless tanners and didn’t like any of them. My age spots ( I’m 72 and loved the sun) and freckles blend now and don’t stand out. I like to “look” like I have a little tan. Bless you sweet lady and I look forward to your next segment.
I didn't tan much and I had skin cancer stage 3 melanoma on my back. It was removed with 5 lymph nodes under my arm 2 years ago. I was 65. I'm not sure if it's the main cause of wrinkles and cancer. I'm the only one in my family to get skin cancer. I always exercised, never ate much meat and didn't sun bathe, like my fair skin blonde sister did. I stay inside most of the time and was diagnosed very low vitamin d and was prescribed vitamin d once a week. I can't tell if it helps at all. Yes,I'm afraid of the fake tan getting on everything. So I just stay lite skinned all the time. Yes,the headband is cute. The tan does look nice and natural...better than what I've used. Thanks for sharing.🤗

I used to lay in the sun without tanning lotion bc I didn't burn...Too late :-( . I've got more freckles now than than light skin. I enjoy watching/listening to your experiences. Always get a lift after watching you. Wish I'd had the pleasure of meeting you while living in Florida. I am absolutely sure you are tons of fun! when I was a child, my sister (7 years older) was a teenager. She did the baby oil/iodine/foil reflector thing. We would sit outside in our yard together. She was in the sun and I was in the shade. We moved with the sun so she could stay in the sun and I was still in the shade. I am so glad I did. I've never liked the sun and I never minded having pale skin. But your skin is amazing for doing that routine in your younger years! It did catch up with my sister but she has always been and outdoors person. Thank you for a fun video. Good Morning Patty and everyone ☀️ The only thing I teach my clients is to not put tanning products on your face. If the self tanner is natural, it will work with the melanin in your skin and darken the dark spots , Melasma or age spots, making them look worse. If it isn’t natural, a self Tanner will simply be like pigment foundation and it can really effect the health of your skin making your skin look dull and unhealthy. Sunscreen should only be zinc oxide and or zinc oxide and titanium dioxide and wear a Wide Brimmed hat or sunscreen will not matter. Instead exfoliate daily ( face & body) and and use an oil on your skin. Our skin ( the largest organ of the body) is an oil loving organ. I have told my clients for almost 4 decades to use a body brush every day with their body wash and apply an oil or sugar body scrub as well. You will be amazed. On your face ALWAYS gently exfoliate before washing / feeding your skin. Love your skin! Even if it’s fair. Blessings Patty and everyone 🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa

I’m 69 and totally did the suntanning thing. Iodine mixed in baby oil, and a moon blanket to lay on top of. Thank God I have not gotten skin cancer, but I’m trying like heck to fight the wrinkles that I do have! And when you were talking about how everything looks tan except your freckles and sunspots which just get darker- hallelujah that’s exactly what happens to me with self tanner!!! I relate to you 100%, you are awesome and lovely 🌷
Yes, I learned your Sally Hansen Tan trick years ago when you first showed us in a video. I use it in the spring when I start wearing short sleeves and continue throughout the summer. I use a kabuki brush from Tarte that came with a tanning powder that I didn't particularly like. I use it sparingly and really buff it in, kind of like you always buffed in your powder foundation. I don't use it heavy enough to really cover all my sun spots, but it does camaflouge them a bit. In first of spring I mix light and medium and then switch to just the medium after I start getting a little natural color. I love it too! Laurie

I’ve never been on a cruise and am dying to go…anyway…I had forgotten to grab my COVID card for my appointment and when you mentioned your COVID card as you were talking about your cruise it jogged my memory. Thank you so much you saved me a 30 minute trip to the doctors office for them to copy my cards. Thank you again! I love your videos and loved your idea this time about the tanning makeup! Oh Patty, I am so glad to hear you do wear your mask when needed for your situation. Too many think no mandate means do not wear a mask. Mostly the younger adults take a mask shaming stance to Not wear a mask ever. The issue seems so divisive socially. So kudos to you and Jim for using a good mind to guide your mask use.

Speaking of tanning and dark spots, I had a couple of dark spots on my face and my SIL told me about Ambi fade cream. Guess what it works! Know that it takes time, like a few months, but you just put it on the spot(s) after you wash your face and after a while the spots will fade away. It is less than $5 for 2 oz and will last you forever. When I opened it I took a straight pin and just put a small hole in the opening cover so that I can get just enough. It doesn’t take much. It’s on Amazon, I checked today and saw a 4 pack. You don’t need that much! You will never use it all unless you were putting it on other body parts which I’m sure you could. I just thought I should share as I went to put it on my spots and I noticed that my spots were all but gone! So good to see you Patti!

I have only cruised one time, but that was way before the pandemic. I hope you and JIm take the Alaska cruise; everyone I know who has taken it, raves about it! Thanks for the segment about using Sally Hanson Leg makeup. I have not used her brand, but I have used Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector, and I love it! I used it on my arms since I saw your demonstration with the Cabuki brush and it turned out great!! Westmore Beauty has lasting effects; it lasts about 3 days before I need to reapply. And, just like Sally Hanson, it does not rub off onto clothes. I have not tried the headbands, but I might give them a try; I love the sparkles! Take good care!

I think I'd get sick, but I take my mom every year to Branson, MO and love it there, we went even thru the pandemic... and yes there wasn't as many shows and not as many people, it was 'different' but we still were 'there' and we loved just being there.

Have used many Sally Hanson products, including leg makeup. When you were describing how a full up cruise is it sounded like a nightmare to me. We have never cruised. Probably not for us.

Patti I always carry Wet Wipes in my purses. I use them for washing my hands also in Ladies Rest Rooms...Most stores sell the travel size packages which is what i use in my purse ...They come in very handy when you are out anyplace.. I buy most of mine at Target and usually i get the Baby Wipes for $1.00 per package .but they usually offer several brands.....

Well, we didn't go that way, since we took the toll bridge and new toll highway from the interstate to Destin. Hubby and I love to cruise, especially river cruises. Love it when they are NOT crowded. Sailed around Iceland and up the Duoro River last year on small ships.....loved it!!! I got a SqHairband in a 1 1/2 (I have a big head!) and had some difficulty using it with my sunglasses, but eventually worked it out, now I like it a lot!!!! Just bought some body makeup that came with a beautiful brush (It Cosmetics on QVC) and there is a bit of a learning curve, but I'm liking the results. Will try Sally Hansen next time around!!!! I have the SAME pair of Belle Hollywood jeans you demoed. Love that there are NO pockets, No belt loops, No fly. I don't need any extra bumps ANYWHERE!!!! I so enjoy your youtube channel!!!!!
Every time I feel guilty about sunbathing in my youth (1970's and 80's) I remind myself that there just wasn't good sunscreen available at that time. I used Sea and Ski spf 6 and thought I was protecting my skin but here I am 40 years later with sunspots and aged skin at age 58. I knew better than to get sun burned because my dad had skin cancer but the thought then was that if you got a "safe tan" you would have good skin. Oh well, those were fun times and I try not to regret them. I was at the beach almost every day since I lived in southern California.
I've never been able to sit in the sun even as a kid and when I found out I had skin cancer I asked the consultant how come I've never ever sat in the sun and he replied "you're blonde with blue eyes " Up to that point I'd always assumed you had to have sat in the sun to get skin cancer.
I wasn't really sunbathing on purpose. Just hung out on the beach because I lived near there. It was just a place to hang out. Tanning was just a consequence.
Fantastic video Patti. Love the Sally Hansen leg makeup but never thought of putting it on my arms with a brush. Your color did look so lovely. The Sqhairbands are great. I have quite a few of them and I always have to have my hair off my face as well. Celebrity cruises are our favourite and we will go in the beginning of 2023. I can see why it would feel strange at 40% capacity. Hopefully, by next year the ships will be more full. Thanks for sharing all those tips Patti. 👏

Hey Patti, thanks for the Sally Hansen tutorial! I’m covered with age spots and freckles and I know what you mean about self tanners making them worse! As far as cruising goes, we went on our first one post Covid in March! It was very different, but we kind of loved the 40% occupancy! We had so much special attention from the crew and didn’t have to fight the crowds! We booked another one for early April 2023. Maybe because we are both still working, we are in our early 60’s, we liked the no crowd situation, I’m not sure! See you soon!❤
I just want to say thank you for suggesting the Sa!ly Hansen leg make-up for tanning! I was totally surprised to see how well it works in creating an even tan--no streaking-no yellowing, and dries quickly. I Love It! I especially liked that it gave my skin an all-over smooth appearance, and I too have age spots. I used the medium shade. I may try the darker to see if it gives me a little richer color. Sounds like the viewer you met and the early morning light were the highlights of your cruise. I have never cruised because I have motion sickness. We had a cruise planned before the pandemic. My son in law (bless his heart) will only let me go on a very big ship to minimize the motions. He’s protective in a very good way♥️ I plan to order the sq bands. Great idea! I have motion sickness too and I went on a cruise back in 1997 and 1998. The first cruise I overdosed on Dramamine. The second Cruise my ear nose and throat doctor prescribed for me Scopolamine Transdermal the patch that goes behind the ear. That really did the trick 1 patch last 3 days and I was able to enjoy my cruise without having motion sickness and vomiting.
Well, I’m sorry cruising wasn’t as expected, Patty. I’m feeling I’m gonna feel the same way when we board the Queen Mary July 1st….New England/Nova Scotia cruise which we’ve done several times before but on diff ships. It’s an Ocean Liner (last one) so a bit different in its floor plan but there is lots to do. I’m not sure of occupancy but it will have travelled into NY harbor from Southampton so it’s possible there will be many Englanders on board. We are also going to take our large family on the Harmony of the Seas Christmas time. Five grown and married, 8 grands and 2 great grands! We’ll probably not even see them once boarded. I think this will be our 38th cruise July 1st. Always pick a 5* and up but are not loyal to any one line. Went thru the Panama Canal on the Queen Elizabeth….was a beautiful cruise! Haven’t tried your hair bands but I think I will. As a redhead (in my younger years), I need some color and a way to cover the now unsightly age spots I get which used to be cute freckles! Thank you for your detailed application. I too am into caftans. When I went to your site to order I only saw solid colored ones. I too like the mixed prints. So I’ll just have to check Amazon store. I have been using Sally Hansen airbrush leg makeup on my legs and arms for probably over 10 years and it is a game changer. I use the spray on a mitt or just spray onto my hands to apply, I buff with an old cotton T shirt to remove any excess, then apply a little moisturizer and wash it off my palms with soap and water. It is not a self tanner it’s makeup, which means it doesn’t turn orange, doesn’t stink, and completely washes off with soap and a wash cloth or I use exfoliating gloves when I shower. It has a few drawbacks as it does sometimes rub off on the inside of clothing but not much and a little shout spray removes it. The best thing is a little color without sun damage. I haven’t laid in the sun since I started using it. Hi Patty! Thats the only self tanner I use when I'm wearing shorts out of the house! I've used it for years and it covers up my blotches and freckles so good! I have that brush too but didn't think to use it so thank you for that helpful tip! Love your channel pretty lady!!!❤
I havent Cruised yet but we have talked about going on Cruise. My son said I prob would like it because of all the walking & all the long lines. I'm 63yr with bad knees. Can't wait to try the tanner from SH, but our Walmart doesn't stock it. So I tried to order from Target but they only had light and dark not medium! So I will try the light as I am super light skinned it might be better for me anyway. It is funny how we are all so different. My husband and I are taking our first cruise this fall to the Mediterranean. After a lot of looking around I chose Viking as there are no children, it is a small capacity ship plus it seemed peaceful and calm. It is nice there is something for everyone, lol. You are always fun to watch - don't ever change.

When I use Sally Hansen on my legs I also add Coppertone glitter tanning lotion to it for a little sparkle. I never wear a dress without it! At 77 I regret some of my tanning days years ago… but those beach vacations were so much fun. Love your chats always look forward to them… take care.

I too love Sally Hansen's leg makeup and have used it for years. At 84 my fair freckled skin is now covered in not-attractive sun spots that Sally Hansen covers beautifully.

*The tanning segment reminds me of my teen years (in the sixties) where l would go dancing on weekends. I did my hair a very light blonde and every Friday night l applied my instant tanner.* Then came the terrible day l could NOT get my tanner ANYWHERE. I decided to go dancing with my very pale skin. I laugh now because everyone was so solicitous. They thought l was ill because l was so pale. Over the years my skin has darkened to a more natural shade and my hair is naturally light blonde. Thanks for bringing that back.
Heidibee I remember QT tanning lotion and maybe Bain du Soleil made some too. lol Also the mercurochrome and baby oil "suntan" lotion we used when laying out.
Yep- my girlfriend and I would put a blanket on the floor and do our QT on her bedroom floor. Great memory! AND I have been, for years, doing the sally Hansen exactly like RXTSTR does! I’m 71 and I still care the easiest of ways to hide some skin discoloring - I just never told anyone. Now I have!! You just had a great story and I had to add to it! @@cattycorner8 I'm 66 I remember also doing the QT Self tanning lotion. Back in the early seventies they didn't have any such thing as sunscreen! I also did the iodine and baby oil and also I used Swedish tanning Beauty lotion, Coppertone and Hawaiian Tropic oil! Silly me I would stay out all day and get the worst sunburn. When you're a teenager you don't listen to anything anybody tells you! I had to learn the hard way! Thanks catty-corner for bringing back some of my old memories!

I have enjoyed and used quite a few ideas but probably one of my favorites is the Sally Hansen leg makeup. I had just bought Sally Henson a week or so ago, used it and didn’t like it. I used to much. BUT after watching you talk about it and demonstrating how you use it, some dos and don’ts, I tried it again. I love it! I have a drawer full of sunless tanners and didn’t like any of them. My age spots ( I’m 72 and loved the sun) and freckles blend now and don’t stand out. I like to “look” like I have a little tan. Bless you sweet lady and I look forward to your next segment.
I didn't tan much and I had skin cancer stage 3 melanoma on my back. It was removed with 5 lymph nodes under my arm 2 years ago. I was 65. I'm not sure if it's the main cause of wrinkles and cancer. I'm the only one in my family to get skin cancer. I always exercised, never ate much meat and didn't sun bathe, like my fair skin blonde sister did. I stay inside most of the time and was diagnosed very low vitamin d and was prescribed vitamin d once a week. I can't tell if it helps at all. Yes,I'm afraid of the fake tan getting on everything. So I just stay lite skinned all the time. Yes,the headband is cute. The tan does look nice and natural...better than what I've used. Thanks for sharing.🤗

I used to lay in the sun without tanning lotion bc I didn't burn...Too late :-( . I've got more freckles now than than light skin.

when I was a child, my sister (7 years older) was a teenager. She did the baby oil/iodine/foil reflector thing. We would sit outside in our yard together. She was in the sun and I was in the shade. We moved with the sun so she could stay in the sun and I was still in the shade. I am so glad I did. I've never liked the sun and I never minded having pale skin. But your skin is amazing for doing that routine in your younger years! It did catch up with my sister but she has always been and outdoors person. Thank you for a fun video. The only thing I teach my clients is to not put tanning products on your face. If the self tanner is natural, it will work with the melanin in your skin and darken the dark spots , Melasma or age spots, making them look worse.
If it isn’t natural, a self Tanner will simply be like pigment foundation and it can really effect the health of your skin making your skin look dull and unhealthy.
Sunscreen should only be zinc oxide and or zinc oxide and titanium dioxide and wear a Wide Brimmed hat or sunscreen will not matter.
Instead exfoliate daily ( face & body) and and use an oil on your skin. Our skin ( the largest organ of the body) is an oil loving organ. I have told my clients for almost 4 decades to use a body brush every day with their body wash and apply an oil or sugar body scrub as well. You will be amazed. On your face ALWAYS gently exfoliate before washing / feeding your skin. Love your skin! Even if it’s fair.

Well I apply oil before drying off so it absorbs and access is toweled off. I love Pure Fiji sugar body scrub and I love simple baby oil. You will be amazed at the changes in your skin. Body scrub as well!

Yes, I learned your Sally Hansen Tan trick years ago when you first showed us in a video. I use it in the spring when I start wearing short sleeves and continue throughout the summer. I use a kabuki brush from Tarte that came with a tanning powder that I didn't particularly like. I use it sparingly and really buff it in, kind of like you always buffed in your powder foundation. I don't use it heavy enough to really cover all my sun spots, but it does camaflouge them a bit. In first of spring I mix light and medium and then switch to just the medium after I start getting a little natural color. I love it too! Laurie

Oh Patty, I am so glad to hear you do wear your mask when needed for your situation. Too many think no mandate means do not wear a mask. Mostly the younger adults take a mask shaming stance to Not wear a mask ever. The issue seems so divisive socially. So kudos to you and Jim for using a good mind to guide your mask use.

Speaking of tanning and dark spots, I had a couple of dark spots on my face and my SIL told me about Ambi fade cream. Guess what it works! Know that it takes time, like a few months, but you just put it on the spot(s) after you wash your face and after a while the spots will fade away. It is less than $5 for 2 oz and will last you forever. When I opened it I took a straight pin and just put a small hole in the opening cover so that I can get just enough. It doesn’t take much. It’s on Amazon, I checked today and saw a 4 pack. You don’t need that much! You will never use it all unless you were putting it on other body parts which I’m sure you could. I just thought I should share as I went to put it on my spots and I noticed that my spots were all but gone! So good to see you Patti!

Thanks for the segment about using Sally Hanson Leg makeup. I have not used her brand, but I have used Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector, and I love it! I used it on my arms since I saw your demonstration with the Cabuki brush and it turned out great!! Westmore Beauty has lasting effects; it lasts about 3 days before I need to reapply. And, just like Sally Hanson, it does not rub off onto clothes. I have not tried the headbands, but I might give them a try; I love the sparkles! Take good care!

Patti I always carry Wet Wipes in my purses. I use them for washing my hands also in Ladies Rest Rooms...Most stores sell the travel size packages which is what i use in my purse ...They come in very handy when you are out anyplace.. I buy most of mine at Target and usually i get the Baby Wipes for $1.00 per package .but they usually offer several brands.....

Well, we didn't go that way, since we took the toll bridge and new toll highway from the interstate to Destin. Hubby and I love to cruise, especially river cruises. Love it when they are NOT crowded. Sailed around Iceland and up the Duoro River last year on small ships.....loved it!!! I got a SqHairband in a 1 1/2 (I have a big head!) and had some difficulty using it with my sunglasses, but eventually worked it out, now I like it a lot!!!! Just bought some body makeup that came with a beautiful brush (It Cosmetics on QVC) and there is a bit of a learning curve, but I'm liking the results. Will try Sally Hansen next time around!!!! I have the SAME pair of Belle Hollywood jeans you demoed. Love that there are NO pockets, No belt loops, No fly. I don't need any extra bumps ANYWHERE!!!! I so enjoy your youtube channel!!!!!

Every time I feel guilty about sunbathing in my youth (1970's and 80's) I remind myself that there just wasn't good sunscreen available at that time. I used Sea and Ski spf 6 and thought I was protecting my skin but here I am 40 years later with sunspots and aged skin at age 58. I knew better than to get sun burned because my dad had skin cancer but the thought then was that if you got a "safe tan" you would have good skin. Oh well, those were fun times and I try not to regret them. I was at the beach almost every day since I lived in southern California.
We used to tan with Tanya sunscreen and Bain de Soleil with SPF of 4! And also, Johnson's baby oil.

Up to that point I'd always assumed you had to have sat in the sun to get skin cancer.
I wasn't really sunbathing on purpose. Just hung out on the beach because I lived near there. It was just a place to hang out. Tanning was just a consequence.
Fantastic video Patti. Love the Sally Hansen leg makeup but never thought of putting it on my arms with a brush. Your color did look so lovely. The Sqhairbands are great. I have quite a few of them and I always have to have my hair off my face as well. Celebrity cruises are our favourite and we will go in the beginning of 2023. I can see why it would feel strange at 40% capacity. Hopefully, by next year the ships will be more full. Thanks for sharing all those tips Patti. 👏

I love your Sally tan, I’m gonna give it a go, also when you were talking about other self tanners I was the same as you , age spots so magnified you could see them from space.
Hey Patti, thanks for the Sally Hansen tutorial! I’m covered with age spots and freckles and I know what you mean about self tanners making them worse! As far as cruising goes, we went on our first one post Covid in March! It was very different, but we kind of loved the 40% occupancy! We had so much special attention from the crew and didn’t have to fight the crowds! We booked another one for early April 2023. Maybe because we are both still working, we are in our early 60’s, we liked the no crowd situation, I’m not sure! See you soon!❤
I just want to say thank you for suggesting the Sa!ly Hansen leg make-up for tanning! I was totally surprised to see how well it works in creating an even tan--no streaking-no yellowing, and dries quickly. I Love It! I especially liked that it gave my skin an all-over smooth appearance, and I too have age spots. I used the medium shade. I may try the darker to see if it gives me a little richer color. Sounds like the viewer you met and the early morning light were the highlights of your cruise. I have never cruised because I have motion sickness. We had a cruise planned before the pandemic. My son in law (bless his heart) will only let me go on a very big ship to minimize the motions. He’s protective in a very good way♥️ I plan to order the sq bands. Great idea! I have motion sickness too and I went on a cruise back in 1997 and 1998. The first cruise I overdosed on Dramamine. The second Cruise my ear nose and throat doctor prescribed for me Scopolamine Transdermal the patch that goes behind the ear. That really did the trick 1 patch last 3 days and I was able to enjoy my cruise without having motion sickness and vomiting.

Well, I’m sorry cruising wasn’t as expected, Patty. I’m feeling I’m gonna feel the same way when we board the Queen Mary July 1st….New England/Nova Scotia cruise which we’ve done several times before but on diff ships. It’s an Ocean Liner (last one) so a bit different in its floor plan but there is lots to do. I’m not sure of occupancy but it will have travelled into NY harbor from Southampton so it’s possible there will be many Englanders on board. We are also going to take our large family on the Harmony of the Seas Christmas time. Five grown and married, 8 grands and 2 great grands! We’ll probably not even see them once boarded. I think this will be our 38th cruise July 1st. Always pick a 5* and up but are not loyal to any one line. Went thru the Panama Canal on the Queen Elizabeth….was a beautiful cruise!
Haven’t tried your hair bands but I think I will. As a redhead (in my younger years), I need some color and a way to cover the now unsightly age spots I get which used to be cute freckles! Thank you for your detailed application.

Hello Patti, You are just an absolute joy I’m not impressed with self tanners in general. They get on my clothes and towels but I think the problem is I use too much. I’m going to try your brush method and I have Sally Hansen leg makeup on my shopping list. Your headband is so cute. I have to try that too. I have been using Sally Hansen airbrush leg makeup on my legs and arms for probably over 10 years and it is a game changer. I use the spray on a mitt or just spray onto my hands to apply, I buff with an old cotton T shirt to remove any excess, then apply a little moisturizer and wash it off my palms with soap and water. It is not a self tanner it’s makeup, which means it doesn’t turn orange, doesn’t stink, and completely washes off with soap and a wash cloth or I use exfoliating gloves when I shower. It has a few drawbacks as it does sometimes rub off on the inside of clothing but not much and a little shout spray removes it. The best thing is a little color without sun damage. I haven’t laid in the sun since I started using it. Recently I received a tube of body blur as a gift and used your tip about using the brush to apply to the back of my hands and arms and the brush thing does work great!! Thanks for all the great ideas!. PS- it stays on when you go swimming

Hi Patty! Thats the only self tanner I use when I'm wearing shorts out of the house! I've used it for years and it covers up my blotches and freckles so good! I have that brush too but didn't think to use it so thank you for that helpful tip! Love your channel pretty lady!!!❤
I havent Cruised yet but we have talked about going on Cruise. My son said I prob would like it because of all the walking & all the long lines. I'm 63yr with bad knees. But I like to just try it & mainly to see other Island and to lay out on deck & shop!! Love the headband!! Such a Wonderful tribute to you! Why is your name Rock star? I figured you took you daughter to alot of rock con erts!! Also their is a Disney Cruise you may want to take your grand babies on when the are a little older!! Tfs

Can't wait to try the tanner from SH, but our Walmart doesn't stock it. So I tried to order from Target but they only had light and dark not medium! So I will try the light as I am super light skinned it might be better for me anyway. It is funny how we are all so different. My husband and I are taking our first cruise this fall to the Mediterranean. After a lot of looking around I chose Viking as there are no children, it is a small capacity ship plus it seemed peaceful and calm. It is nice there is something for everyone, lol. You are always fun to watch - don't ever change.
I've never had a tan. I only burn, turn red and peel. I'm excited to try it.
