I discovered the cadence presentation years ago. I am a drummer by trade, and one day I was casting over and over, and not getting any bites, so I guess out of boredom I started fishing my crank bait with little rhythms from my rod tip. suddenly I was catching fish! I have been using this technique ever since to great success. I like the fact that you are so passionate about fishing, and it shows in your videos! I'm going to subscribe right now!

Ok. The fact that Ike's kids are yelling in the background, and not edited out, is exactly why I love this guy so much! 😂 keep' it reel. (Yes, it's a pun).

The first lure I was taught to use when I was about 5 years old was the Rapala minnow jerk bait. Been using them 3 decades later. They work well in morning and evening casting floaters up to shore line and twitch it a few times and then reel in slow. Been catching bass and bluegill this way for 30 years.

Good patience Ike, with all that ruckus in the background while you were trying to record!! Great tips as well. Very small Rapala's are my go to lures when the bite is tough...they never let me down!

I was slayin them on the Husky jerk but just reeling it real slow. When I was jerkin them they weren't biting. And when you put a swivel on them it completely changes the action and still works fantastic. Great lure.
