Thanks!😊I'd love to enter another one at some point. Just hard to find the time to finish something. Got a few ideas knocking around for the current competition so might enter if I can get something put together in time. Regarding the video, I borrowed (stole) the idea from this video: ua-cam.com/video/CTUs3J3bxCk/v-deo.html I exported the midi and then put it into a program called Midi Animation Machine (It's free). I then used premiere pro for the rest of it.
@@RobertDeed Thanks a million for the tip 🙏🏼 I got a composer challenge coming up that your sound would be perfect for, but it won't start before end of April and have a 2 month deadline. Also there will be ways to participate by handing in just 8 bars for those short on time. I will post a video with the details soon. How can I get in touch? Are you on IG?
One of my favorite from the competition for sure ! It’s just a beautiful orchestration and a great mix ! Would you mind telling me how you mix the mic positions from your Cinematic studio libraries ?
Thank you so much! I'm actually using just the default mix mic option for this composition. However I have done a fair amount of EQing to avoid harshness and build ups (e.g. lots of cutting in the low mids).
Sir your music so attractive I love it. Can i use your this music. Can you give me permission. Please sir can j monetize my video with your music. Please reply
I really enjoyed your slow, pastoral approach to this piece. It's certainly a different direction than I took. Congratulations on being a finalist. You participating in the next competition?
Thanks! I wanted to tell the story from the old lady in the background's point of view. Starting out calm as a normal day would and then her son, who she hasn't seen in years, suddenly appears over the horizon. What direction did you take? I hope so! If the pictures a good one and I have the time I definitely will.
@@RobertDeed I went more with focusing on the story before the moment the picture is taken -- a vagabond villager feeling the elation of riding on horseback and the anticipation of returning home. Finally, we catch up to the picture, and the music slows down and transitions into a rustic theme with ethnic instruments and a calmer denouement to conclude the track. You can listen to it here: drive.google.com/file/d/1l06QjFXK5LN7HtewHVuLzMpUBlcCFUtQ/view?usp=sharing Maybe I should've stuck more with the moment in the picture. But hey -- at least I got participation credit. ^_^
@@quartertuned Sounds great! I love the Lydian feel at the beginning and there is a really beautiful use of colours throughout! Will you be entering the next one too?
