There's a cruel humor to mass effect being so powerful in the completely wrong direction, the demons are like a loophole for their tech
kinda funny since the reapers specifically set things up to make those loopholes
But energy disruptive ammo wouldnt be like poison against demons since they have argent energy flowing through their bodies?

Hot take: the Reaper corruption might not be that slow to other universes, the ME universe has gone through countless cycles of Reapers coming through and leaving only the lifeforms that are most resistant to their very presence, so the entire universe could have evolved a resistance to it. If that applies to the demons' corruption as well, ME might be in a significantly better place.
They also are (I believe) the universe with the most potent knowledge of biological warfare, something the demons haven't dealt with, and the demons need at least some of their biological bits otherwise they would already have gone full robot by now. If the Turians go full scorched earth on the demons, which they would when push comes to shove, the demons could be significantly weakened, if not killed, almost as soon as they spawn.
Now, the demons have shown they are extremely proficient with bio-modding, but that's only on themselves. They would eventually modify themselves enough that the original bioweapon would no longer work on them, but if I can predict that, the Turians definitely can as well, so it would become a biological arms race to try to keep making new, effective bioweapons for the rest of eternity.
So not a win, but an eternal stalemate until the Reapers themselves come in and fuck everything up. They don't strike me as the type to play nice with their original races just because the demons are in town.

Ultimately their purpose is to ensure life goes on in the universe, and they kill off all intelligent life every 50,000 years to ensure that life doesn’t get advanced enough to wipe itself. The Reapers would change policy to fight off the demons to preserve life.

The demons would certainly claim a large chunk of the galaxy but that would just be drop in the ocean that is the list of the Imperium's problems. They would definitely become a powerful faction but still just a faction.
I think a Lasgun could probably handle a minor demon pretty easily, those things can blow human limbs off with a single shot.
Also, Tyranids hard counter DOOM demons, change my mind.

The main problem I see is that it's canon that Astartes can be corrupted... not all of them, but corrupted space marines, and chaos marines do exist, so being able to corrupt a number of Space Marines would give the Doom Universe quite a big advantage. Not only neutralizing a large number of their best fighters, but turning them to their side. Necrons seem like they would be also easy to corrupt. Granted, they don't have souls, but I feel like the Necrons would just join the demons by default.

I love the idea of the EDF getting invaded and it's just like another Tuesday for em. Also, very interested in seeing out of left field series like Warframe, destiny, helldiver's, fallout, and, if ya wanna stretch it, skyrim. Also just some EDF soldier staring at an icon of sin like "Damn that's a weird as ant" needs to be a thing
i'd think that Warframe & Helldivers can get far, not far enough to kill a GOD but, i think they are strong enough to kill most of the Super Heavys (Warframe ESPECIALY would have FUN killing the Murraders, Watch the Excaliber vs Riden Death Battle to see how broken some of them are.)
Skyrim is too much for any video games.. this is the same universe that out scale Marvel and DC in terms of size.. literally.. you know the sun in Skyrim?? Yeah that sun is universal sized sun and the planet in elder scrolls? Its an infinite realm of existence.. you know alduin? The dragon boss you had to fight?? Yeah that guy when he spawn his wings it destroy all reality.. like thousand of universes was destroy when this guy flap his wings and he wasnt even the strongest the god of Skyrim literally dreams of everything that happens and if he ever woke up everything cease to exist and nothing is above him.. elder scrolls lore is too much.

Doomguy in the og trilogy 1,2,64 closed the portal that allowed the demons to attack his og universe thats why in the end of 64 he got stuck in hell for ages until he was found by the sentinels who did their own universe traveling. You should consider whether or not these other gaming universes could shut down the portal too

It was told in the intermissions of doom 2 that all of surviving humanity left earth in huge spaceships and Doomguy was alone with the demons but was relieved and thinking of killing himself but then he got hope that he could win and went back to hell to kill the icon of sin.
Really if we think about it og Doomguy was exactly like serious sam from the video and he won, he didnt have magic healing or super strength. I should also bring up the doom 3 alternate universe with its dlc resurrection of evil yeah one main character had the soul cube and did damage to the hell army but the dlc guy had that heart which all it did was slow down time and make you stronger which sounds alot like the cyberpunk augments and he killed vetruger which stopped the invasion and there was no cliffhanger so the doom 3 universe is safe. I think even the doom movies were saved but I probably shouldnt bring those up.

Would they actually work against the demons in halo. Because they replaced their blood with argent energy. He wouldn't be able to fuel himself unless he converted his body to run off argent energy. Then everyone is fucked because that's practically unlimited fuel that he can recharge from

Don't discount the other machines, the stray + mindflayer terminal entry on top of the lore of the terminals, swordsmachines, ect, the machines are very adaptive. This is useful since the demons in DOOM don't bleed normal blood (Though it is an energy source) which among the obvious makes the rocket launcher weapon basically just a standard kinetic weapon. It's unclear if any of the machine's weapons would be good enough to harm DOOM demons (Bounces off of Hideous Mass stone, but the stone of demons in Ultrakill seem abnormal + the same weapons can also damage machines which are metal). So really, every machine is needed to give the machines time to adapt to give a good fight, assuming the machines would even be able to get argent. The two prime souls we know about who seem like the best candidates in terms of physical power besides maybe the Earthmovers (Who are deep in hell, though that probably isn't an issue for DOOM demons who could just teleport there) are dormant in flesh prisons. The DOOM demon's souls simply going back to their universe may instead become Husks, which would be really funny. That would open up the avenue of the stronger DOOM demons becoming Prime Souls due to their importance and that alone could be the end for the Ultrakill universe, since the Prime Souls seem to retain sapience and memories.

@@wintra8848That's just unfair. The only reason the flood isn't winning in halo is because everything is spread out and has less population to use. Most other sci Fi worlds are not gonna survive because a flood invasion would imply it 1. Invading the MAIN world and 2. Has enough flood to actually invade. It's not the start of the infection it's a force to begin with

The thing about Serious Sam is that while the weapons are as normal as they could be, even they could possibly take down even the tougher demons such as the DOOM Hunter and the Cyberdemon with the help of the gadgets you find in Serious Sam 4/Siberian Mayhem. There's also the possibility of Mental seeing Davoth and Jekkad as a threat to him too and causing him to break a deal with humanity in order to drive them out.
Sam (and his comrades too, in multiplayer) is also shown to be capable of performing Glory Kills against Mental's Horde with the help of the Sirian Artifacts of Might (S.A.M. for short), which are similar to the Argent orbs you find in DOOM 2016, not to mention they could also help recover health & ammo or become more resistant to the energy attacks of the Demonic Horde via said tools.
There's also the upgrades to the weapons you get in 4/Siberian Mayhem, some are basic, like the Grenade Launcher attachments for the shotguns, but also there's upgrades like the guided missiles from the rocket launcher, which can load up to 5 rockets and aim up to 5 different enemies at once. Not to mention the secret weapon you get halfway through the main game, the FRPCL, which fires a self-guided rocket with a chainsaw strapped to it, capable of tearing apart enemies, no matter how tough, in seconds, which could do well against the demons in the battlefields of DOOM Eternal.
I mean did you take into account Storm 1 for EDF, they literally take on God level enemies by themselves

There is an English Translation of EDF 6 and they do manage to make Mars entirely unlivable with 1 missile
I make a point to not bring up any points from games that haven’t released (in the US) yet. For instance CotL is introducing a new character The Goat who has all the powers of the Lamb which will make that survival challenge much harder but I won’t bring it up till it officially releases. Just a rule I gave myself to stop me from saying stupid shit that will eventually be proven wrong when the game gets here.
Was just stating it as it has been out for a while and is coming here within a month. But then again it was more a toxification thing more than anything and there is a lot of time travel bs in it. Also the ants and stuff are never stated in the series to be earth insects they experimented on. We do know WHY they came though in 6 late in the story.

@@Warlord835 Yes, but not in English yet. EDF 6 does introduce the EDF in their strongest state as well, since it deals with hacks (spoilers) that end up pushing the EDF into the strongest force they've ever been. I've played and completed the game and it gets real weird.

IIRC the Reapers can indoctrinate people better, but it depends on their resistance to it and exposure to Reaper tech. They can do it faster, but it would damage their minds, to the point where it can render you like a brain dead zombie, but go really fast.
I would love to see Lo Wang (both Classic and Reboot) be put into a future video against Doom Demons because Lo Want deals with demons just like Doomguy (well Yokai by the time of Shadow Warrior 3) and he has even killed the heart of a Dragon in Shadow Warrior 3 not to mention his Nobitsura Kage from the first game would be useful against Doom demons since it works on Shadow Warrior demons and ancients.
He also has chi/ki powers, demonic guns, ki enhanced guns, ki/chi tech swords and guns and many many different swords with a couple of them being lightsaber like and one of them even being made out of Hoji’s mask (which he somehow turned back into a mask by the time of Shadow Warrior 3). Also in the third game he fought a Giant F@cking Dragon that almost froze the entire Earth and according to Zilla basically made it uninhabitable.
Also thanks to Shadow Warrior 3 basically being Asian Doom Eternal with him even having his own version of Glory Kills called Gore weapons where he rips apart of a demon and using their own body parts or weapons against them and a wrist grapple hook you can actually have him do similar things to the Slayer. Plus it would be cool to see Lo Wang rip off a Doom Hunter’s canon and use it as a Gore weapons similar to the demons from his respective third game

Caleb from Blood, I’d imagine he’s been mentioned, we don’t know much except for that he gains power with each thing he kills, and he’s “The One That Binds” meaning that by his existence he holds reality together. He doesn’t exactly struggle with healing, being able to eat life essences to regain health, between Caleb and the Chosen I think they’d stand a decent chance

@@pomax1464 caleb has power absorption so he can technically absorb argent energy but it might corrupt him but i think his corruption resistance can do him a favour it's temporary yes but it will give a chance against the murader, the gladiator and the doom hunter

If the infantry weapons in mass effect were to fire at even 1% of lightspeed no one would be able to react to being hit before they drop dead even with kinetic barriers. The infantry weapons fire at supersonic speeds as what makes the infantry weapons better compared to modern infantry weapons is that they are lighter and collapsible. The ship weapons fire at 2% lightspeed every 5 seconds.

@@yeetneet5334 I know this but he claims the ME infantry weapons fire at lightspeed which doesn't make sense. At best they fire at supersonic speeds which makes them equivalent to modern day weapons when it comes to projectile velocity.

We gotta examine Samus Aran and the Metroid universe next. Samus is basically the Doomguy of Nintendo, seriously these characters and their lore are very similar and Samus is also an ultimate destroyer when she's at her fullest power in her suit. Like the Chozo's weapons and technology and magic are specifically just supremely overpowered in the level of devastation they can wreak and the only reason their empire fell was from their people becoming sterile and unable to reproduce and eventually they mostly died off. The rest of the Metroid universe may or may not be able to do anything against the invasion of hell, neither the Galactic Federation nor the Space Pirates command anywhere near the level of power the Chozo had at their height so it'd really be just Samus most likely.
The X Parasites also could be a significant threat to the demons as well, in the Metroid universe, the X represented an existential threat to all life in the universe that the Chozo deemed it necessary to create another existential threat to all life (the actual Metroids themselves) in order to fight the X
The Chozo, taken at the height of their power and empire, I would wager probably did have the right combination of military might, technological know-how, and occult/psychic understanding that they could absolutely defeat the armies of Doom's Hell without a doubt, but it may take everything they have and it wouldn't be an easy or quick fight. (And yes, they have the ability to do something like this but they somehow canonically can't figure out how to fix reproductive infertility apparently XD)
Samus is absolutely THE character who could just swap games with doom guy and get things done. Likely even get stronger weapons than him from absorbing the energy the demons generate and having her armor create a form that's resistant and stronger against them. Even worse for the demons if she gets access to the Metroid abilities or Phazon that let her run basically super tech. She's almost one step above the slayer himself simply because her power is adaptive to the threat at hand.
@@Sylvastier The only saving grace of the demons against Samus I'd say is that she probably isn't as strong willed as Doomguy, and she may struggle against Hell's corruption but also still overcome with effort. I say this because in her own universe, by the end of Metroid Prime 3, she was genuinely struggling against the corruption of Phazon and was barely keeping a hold of herself it seemed. But of course, with great effort she overcame that in the end so I'd say she could still resist the demons' corruption in the same way at least. Doomguy's straight up immune to being corrupted by anything, Samus is just very highly resistant so it's not impossible that she could reach a limit to what she can handle if she's not careful.

@@yeetneet5334 I think the Galactic Federation and the Space Pirates definitely can't do anything about the Titans at all. But the Chozo and Samus to a smaller scale extent, absolutely could deal with them. They can't kill them just like the Maykrs couldn't but they absolutely could do something similar to how the Titans were dealt with in their own universe: Putting them in what is effectively a stasis.
We see the Chozo of Tallon IV from Metroid Prime as a particular example of being able to do this kind of powerful stasis imprisonment to contain the phazon that was infesting their world and it's important to note that those particular Chozo were significantly less powerful than the rest of their people's legacy because they were basically the 'Amish' of the Chozo, deliberately forgoing much of their technology and knowledge to live simpler lives, which what passes as 'less' advanced technology among the Chozo is still comically superior than what the other factions in Metroid have, given the Space Pirates were utterly denied all attempts to breach the stasis field the Tallon IV Chozo had put over the impact crater.
So if these 'Amish' Chozo can do something like this, I definitely think the greater Chozo empire with their even more powerful capabilities could absolutely bring down a Titan and imprison it in a similar fashion as we see in Doom Eternal. As for Samus, she may have to do a whole quest that would allow her to get the power to do that when a Titan comes into her universe, where it's probably the major focus of the 'game' sort of deal. And she's be racing against the clock because as she's trying to explore ancient Chozo ruins for deep lore and technology that could be brought to bear against the demons, the Titan is actively destroying everything.

Warhammer 40000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters...... Grey Knights are known for FIGHTING DAEMONS in their universe.
Fun video but few mass effect things, cryo rounds are very common and can freeze an eight foot 700lb krogan solid in seconds like subzero, mixing that with lava blood would probably suck, there are explosive weapons in every class pistol to shotguns, venom shotgun and the krysae sniper rifle were always my favorites turning enemys into chunks of meat, ships can absolutly do ftl in mass effect outside of the relay i see most calcs go to around 30ftl the relay can just shoot you across the galaxy in hours, biotics use dark energy to warp gravity but can also use it to make explosions like flare or melt through armor/ skin with warp, they can also use annialation feild which passively rips anything apart that gets to close to the biotic, and a sovereign class reaper is over 2 kilometers and mass masseffect feilds capable of surviving exploding stars and black holes, idk how a 1000ft tall doom titan is going to "One shot" them they also don't destroy planets because they want new life to pop up to make more cylces, if they wanted to end all life forever mass effects story would have ended 50 million years ago. The krogan and the rachni were both said to use weaponized asteroids to destoroy planets and they are far from peak mass effect tech, the reapers could 1000% destroy a planet if that was their goal, if theres just a portal on earth and mars the demons don't stand a chance, if their able to bring the whole hell dimesions forces to bare it might be a different story, still don't know how their taking out reapers in space, sorry for the rant gotta prop up my team though.

ngl, i think your underselling the Reapers. they're hyper-intelligent and can use people even without indoctrinating them. Illusive Man is a example of someone who was more useful as a free thinker, only slightly planting ideas in his head like they did with the Protheans in order to create turmoil and hinder resistance efforts. Even Seran was allowed some automity before he offed himself/proven himself against Sovern, then went full Indoctern. The indoctrination process only takes as long as the Reaper want it to, between a instant and several years. The can also just orbital bombard Titans, and any demons that trespass into the ship has its brainwaves immediately taken over by the Reaper
Someone else here mentioned that the OG Doom Guy shut down the portal to Earth from inside Hell and asked if there are any Shooterheroes who could do this and I'm curious too.
It's not an instant win con but I think it would be an interesting talking point since it's said that that universe was pretty much saved thanks to that.
I wonder how Armored Core would do; orbital rail guns, plasma weapons, atom rending pulse weapons. Not to mention the stuff a Next could do.

That he took the name "Pelinal" was passing strange, no matter his later sobriquets, which were many. That was an Elvish name, and Pelinal was a scourge on that race, and not much given to irony. Pelinal was much too grim for that; even in youth he wore white hair, and trouble followed him. Perhaps his enemies named Pelinal of their own in their tongue, but that is doubtful, for it means "glorious knight", and he was neither to them.

I wonder how the Skylanders would deal with the demons. I know it sounds silly, but their feats are surprisingly all over the place. Not to mention the sheer variety that makes up their forces, they would certainly be a unique case.
The only problem is that the biggest villain they've been up against is pretty inept, something the demons definitely aren't. Besides, Skylanders have been shown to be unable to resist even their own in-universe corruption, hence why the Dark Skylanders exist. Imagine how they'd fare against something much more effective, like the demonic corruption of Doom. I love the series to death, but I can't imagine them surviving. If you have any extra details to add on, feel free to let me know though.

Like i said in the previous video, if you want a F up scenario for survival challenges, check out the Dead Ahead universe, at first glance is just another zombie apocalipse, but there you don't need bites, the infection is in the air, the zombies are just triying to kill you not bite you

The thing about the Reapers is that they are essentially glorified gardeners. Their whole goal is to specifically harvest and cultivate life in the universe before it can destroy itself. Not completely destroy it. They want to be a scalpel, not a sledgehammer. I think if the Reapers were faced with an existential threat like this, they would be able to change tactics to be far more destructive on a dime. And I'm surprised you didn't even mention the possibility of converting the demons into reaper forces which could potentially completely sidestep their ability to come back from death alongside using their own power against them overall.
When you do Metroid is it possible that Samus might be able to resist the corruption considering in her games she resists a lot of things that is like corruption. And with Metroid Prime could she also probably take the argent energy because we now know she is a Metroid so she can take the Argent Energy from the demons like how she takes the life energy from Adam. I'd like to argue against the demons' resistance. Doomguy was able to kill them before getting his slayer boost, so shouldn't some of the other universes have the same advantage with similar weaponry?

I just realized. That any universe that has cryo ammo would stand a decent chance cause the demons being super hot would suffer from thermal shock if hit with cryo.
Storm-1 from EDF would absolutely clap the demon invasion. He almost solo'd the Primer invasion alone, went through several time warp cycles of fighting them off time and time again, and killed a god tier enemy several times, one of which was in a dimension where it rules.
a few things for the timesplitters universe i don't see mentioned at all: Viola defeated a time travelling giant demon with a shotgun, now the cropolyte may not be as strong as the doom demons, but he works similarly to DooM demons for the fact that Jacque de la morte had to accomplish a ritual to let the cropolyte in this dimension, so couldn't Cortez just go back in time and deny the demons access to this dimension? even if they are timeless beings they are not in a timeless world.
Also you didn't mention the Timesplitters themselves! They are a species that would for sure react if something else were to menace their own universe and as we see both in Timesplitters and Second sight Timesplitters have those powers because they can evolve to gain the abilities of whoever they fight, meaning that even if they start weaker than demons they can evolve to match Demons abilities, imagine a timesplitter Imp, a timesplitter Pinky, a timesplitter Marauder! hell, a Timesplitter cyberdemon! So realistically speaking the world would be fucked, not because of timesplitters or demons, but because of the hybrids that would be born by the fight of the two, i see only Davoth and the icon of sin able to take the hybrids down...so yeah Cortez better go back in time and close that fucking portal to hell lmao
How about some fun maths... For the Mass Effect section. If we say that since the guns contain mini-mass relays, and accelerates the bullets to near lightspeed, the bullets will reach relativistic speeds, which is about 85% the speed of light. The speed of light being just shy of 300,000km/s, we're looking at 255,000km/s. So, having that, we look at the average weight of a bullet, which according to Google (since I'm Canadian and not familiar with guns) weigh anywhere from 0.02 - 0.04kg, so we will use the high end for this since I'm going to assume that's rifle ammo. Using the formula for calculating kinetic energy, that would give us 100347238 J of energy, which we can convert into tons of TNT, equaling 0.0239835655 tons of TNT. Converting into lbs, we get 47.967131 lbs of TNT, meaning each bullet fired from a gun with a mass relay would pack the equivalent of 48lbs of TNT.

I love mass effect being included my fave game trilogy, last video I said they would win, and it's what I would like to believe and I think under Shepard they would get far, however some great points were raised on why they would lose and I can admit when I'm wrong, I don't think it would be a sweep especially at the end of ME3 but I admit that i was wrong eventually they would lose, great video loved it, would love to see Halo next

Yeah... the demons get obliterated. Reality-bending gods that can corrupt is basically an average weekday for them. You've got the Necrons, the Krorks, the Old Ones, the C'Tan, then to top that all off you get the Enslavers appearing outta nowhere. The Chaos gods were either already there, or created during it... or both. The Warp is funny like that. Either way, they've got their own daemons.
The BFG10,000 might be able to blow holes in planets, but the C'tan eat entire stars. The Necrons have weapons that erase their opponents from history, the Celestial Orrery just deletes entire star systems with a flick of the wrist. Even their most basic weapons strip your molecules apart. That's not even mentioning the Old Ones...
The Necrons alone would annihilate the demons.
I think they'd take a week off to fight the Doom demons, then just go back to fighting eachother.

Mass effect handhold weapons shooting bullets at near lightspeed makes absolutely zero sense, since that would make them stronger then the main guns on their biggest starships. Also kinetics barriers only work on physical projectiles. So they wont stop things like fireballs and lasers.
Old Halo games didn't really have ads, they had zoom and scopes on some weapons, but that's it

Id like to recommend something interesting.
The Souls games. I dont know which one, since theyre all linked, and its difficult to say whats the strongest point. Even then, you COULD include Elden Ring and Bloodborne, since theyre linked too, and come up with the theory if you want to stretch it, they take place at different times, and perhaps a massive event happens where time is frozen or merged. (Dunno who youd include as the "main" defenders though) but id just really like to see a souls game, including min-maxed hunters/tarnished/undead, etc, who can be considerably strong even compared to the bosses.
I think for EDF the smaller demons could actually be more challenging. I think it's stated multiple times in the doom universe that the soldiers have problems dealing with imps because they are too fast, so I would assume they can also dodge bullets, maybe not as well as marauders, but probably well enough to escape most shots of EDF officers, and with their argent attacks, they could deal some serious damage
it would be great to see something like this with triple A videogame characters , like samus or kratos or similar characters like that. you could do like 3 videos with just link given all of the super powerful points in the timeline. also i have no doubt that a kirby video would be 'this is all the ridiculously overpowered stuff these characters can do. kirby beats them in 15 minutes'
The Mass Effect mass relays failing destroys an entire solar system, and those were built by the Reapers. Even just shooting large objects through them at targets is planet-busting levels of energy. The Reapers purpose was to harvest the organics, not just eradicate them. I think you're severly undestimating them.
The crazy thing is that the guns that doom guy upgrade with his power are also amped with argent energy

Dont care that they dont do well. I will say that Time grenades would be a unique benefit as well as the GHOST GUN! In multiplayer it is a vampiric weapon that could see Specters. With armor being useless. Or the MagCharger that sees though and fires through walls. Powerful enough to fly through mountains and kill those hit by it.
Also I disagree with demonic time travel. The time crystals is the only reason time travel is possible, not to mention that demons or doom guy are shown to ever travel backwards. The story fits linearly with dimension hopping, not time travel in said dimension.
Dont get me wrong they are still screwed but they could at least take care of fodder, especially with Reaper splitters being more powerful imps that can turn invisible and throw lightning.
the reapers are near damn indestructible and their weapons are absolute weapons of mass destruction, the hole in the mars is a singular prototype weapon that probably never hit any sort of demon, if it did, any demon would be just straight up gone, i say the lasers the reapers have are way more than enough to take care of any demon except maybe the titans.

For part three it'd be cool to see maybe the Destiny Universe, Warframe Universe, Alien Colonial Marines Universe, and the Metroid Universe. Could be some fun challenges to bring a little doom to.

The main problem of the Reapers and just anyone else in the Mass Effect universe would be... magic. In the DOOM universe, magic can pretty much circumvent and defeat every technology in time. How do you deal with an enemy who can teleport into your shielded ships or revive your KIA buddies to fight against you?

On the Mass Effect one, you're somewhat missing some details. Key point - how much damage to the demons can the simple double-barrelled Super Shotgun do to most demons. Those are metal projectiles moving at purely Supersonic speeds. Inferno rounds, throw those out. Even just running basic *Metal Slug* rounds out of some of those things like assault shotguns, in Mass Effect design, are moving those self-same metal projectiles at a speed that is orders of magnitude, Massive Orders of Magnitude, faster. Near Light Speed, your own words. Never forget the basic equation F=M*V - Mass Times VELOCITY. Force off the Super Shotgun, now we take the same equation, and now exponentially jack up the velocity of the projectiles, the resulting increase in force, even just maintaining the mass of projectiles, is incredibly significant. So to put it down the rails, here, Mass Effect Weapons are all in essence variations of Doomguy's Railgun, and they are throwing projectiles at an immensely higher density and rate of fire. Sure, no BFG-9000 effects here, but their standard projectile weapons are orders of magnitude more effective, so there's a bit of a balance shift on that consideration.
I go over this in a few of my videos but no gun fired by Doomguy can be compared to any real world firearm. Doomguy is a primeval that empowers his weapons with his will to kill gods.
You’re also ignoring the what Mass Relays do. They decrease the mass of an object to near weightless to minimize destructive force. They have to do this so that the recoil of firing the gun doesn’t kill the shooter. So while ME shots are fast they also don’t increase force by nearly as much as it would otherwise.
Warframe would probably be one of the few universes that survive this sort situation
The Metroid Universe could tank the Doom Universe, and that isn't even considering Samus herself.
