If only this game did it any justice. It can only be used by a U.S carrier squadron in the game for some bizarre reason. Good to see the U.K and Italy have been fucking underdogged in yet another WWII shooter.
@@andrewhowell1344, I wouldn't say necessarily better. British and American aircraft were built for different purposes, for different strategies, both nations' aircraft performed their respective roles well. Don't get me wrong, I love the Whirlwind, it was an exceptional fast bomber and to a certain extent, heavy fighter, but it was plagued with mechanical and aerodynamic issues that were not top priority for resolution, given that the U.K was expecting an invasion. Light, nimble and fast aircraft were the top priority for the R.A.F, they focused on the Hurricane and the Spitfire, and I think that was most definitely the right call. With the U.K facing a general crisis, short and crude airfields were or were to be constructed around the U.K, the Hurricanes and Spitfires would have no issue taking off and landing from these airfields, the Whirlwind would. I think the Whirlwind's best achievement was the creation of the Mosquito, the Mosquito was truly a phenomenal aircraft.
@@H.M.SKingGeorgeV for most of the war the British base fighters was better then us one where we lack was aircraft carrier aircraft most of are aircraft for awhile
FIRST! good gameplay bro😊
🥇
With I remember right the whirlwind was loved by British pilots it packed more firepower then the early models of the spitfire and hurricane
