Its pretty weird if you think about it, it’s just 16/10 and 5/8 have the same interval. They’re both equivalent to 8/5, so if you rev a 5/8 siren up to the right pitch you can get it to sound like 10/16.
@@carlosethangodinez6656 bruh there is no sentry with 5 horns on the bottom and 8 horns on top lmfao. 40V2Ts have 5 horns on top and bottom, and that “10/16 port version of the 40V2T” you’re talking about is a 20V2T prb. 40V2Ts never came in 10/16 port

You should have heard it in attack mode for the volunteer firefighter calls. Freaky when you add in the ACA Screamer (dual-tone) and an STH-10 also in town. I lived there for years.
Spend many years in Jefferson, you can hear just this noon siren around town and miles out of town!
I love how you can actually see the chopper in this siren rotating!
Same here!
Its actually called a rotor but i agree its cool seeing them rotate
@@c.j.3199 They can be called both
Like any 10/16 Decot, this guy's real easy on the ears
I like how you can hear when its whining up, the different pitch in tone of the turbines
Their called roters but same here
*rotors

I will ask Sirens for cities Sentry siren for the 5/8 horn and 10/16 ports on 40v1t/40v2t.
Weird Sentry Siren 40V2T with 5/8 horns and 10/16 ports and it comes with AC or DC battery backup
yes it does a dural tone i think on the corner of bus26 and puerner St.
Sounds like a 4/5 port Thunderbolt 1000T with no blower
there is a Decot 12hp in Funk Nebraska, a Decot in Princeton Wisconsin and a Decot in Jefferson Wisconsin
but it looks like to be a 12hp Siren
There's one also in Cazenovia wi, Norwalk wi, and one in camp Douglas wi, plain wi, and funk is a 3 hp siren not 12
And there is one in Delevan, WI
But what about Monticello WI Decot Red Arrow model 12
Cazenovia wi replace by Sentry 7v8 with the Same 10/15 ports
Sentry has 2 20HP motor units while Decot had only one 12HP units (10/16 ports Sentry)
Seattle had a whole system of these in WWII. The covers were shaped differently.
Could've been scream masters iirc
@willamshugo283 nope, they were later Decot Engineering Works units made in St Paul MN
10/16 port is my favorite Decot port ratio. Great one!
But what about Sentry siren port ratios and horns
I recommend Sentry 10/16 port version of the 40v2t with 5 horns on the bottom and 8 horns on top

dead xp the reason it goes off daily it used for the noon whistle for lunch time tomah use to do that till they quit
My favorite Sentry siren is 40v2t with 10/16 ports like the sound of Decot Red arrow and color of the Sentry siren is green
It's a custom Sentry siren.
This isn’t a sentry siren
Sounds like a 5/8 port siren. In fact, 10/16 port is two times the port ratio of 5/8.
But what about the Thunderbolt 1000T with 5/8 ports custom siren
@@carlosgodinez2942 Not a thing. Please shut up
Sounds the best of all
Was it loud at all?
Nice! What camera are you using?
dang that is high pitch on the 16 port
Replace with 16 port on top 8 horns of Sentry 40v2t leave 10 ports on the bottom 5 horns.
For the first 5 seconds, it sounded like an ACA Hurricane.
Some_Chevys _ kinda also I might record this one
This thing takes longer to start up than a P-50.
Because it's single phase.
Model 12?????????
Yep
Yessir, 10/16 Model 12. Teddys Magnum Opus
Sounds like an Aca hurricane 130 with no blower
Cool .. are we done? ... now we can go to McDonalds ... thanks for posting, great catch.
What's the port ratio
Mr.Baofeng 10/16
that is a decot red arrow model 12
This would be a Decot Red Arrow Model 12
Sounds like a Major 3rd Modulator to me.
Nope.
