Ok feel I need to say this. Reason for the long winddown and higher pitch is because the siren is reverse wired. When choppers spin the opposite way on ACA sirens, they lose a lot of sound output. Pretty much like a reverse blower Thunderbolt.
I know right where this one is too. I used to live down the street in the old Copeland Ryder apartments. From there I heard this one, one of the STH-10s, and the decot. Creepy combo on fire calls.
I live in jefferson now, and i live on plymouth street near this screamer, and i hear almost every siren in town, witch i dont know if the decot still works.
Why did they tape down that intake? That's real stupid because with no air the motor has no load so it spins faster than it should creating the higher pitch and would probably burn out the motor faster.
Wow, never saw such a wind down... 5 min wind down for a E57 are really long, because they usually need 2.5 min for winding down.... A friend of me recorded one that wound down for 6 min....

So it spins Clockwise instead of regular counter-clockwise
Btw why are rest of Chopper sirens are spinning CCW?
I wish they still sold their old product line from the 80's!
The siren is getting practically no air. Look at the top suck down when it starts.
Audinos Yes but they don't normally do that! If you look- it has been taped down for some odd reason.
The top is a intake, not a shelter
Imagine these had a damper on top for a pulse signal?

My grand parents pretty much owned that town back in the day crazy!!
Great sounding Screamer***
Omg I'm so f**kin embarrassed I called it a Banshee before

Is the thing spinning backwards?
The Intake Cone has been taped down which explains the long wind-down!
Mr.Someone \Tom/ and the fact it sounds a little bit higher pitched
I love long wind downs like this
Alexander Goushy Yeah! They're really nice.
Do u have a picture of the decot and video
No video or pics of the Decot just what I filmed on wednesday.
Ok thx
Is it still there
Those are my favorite
It is reverse wired. You can see the rotor spinning the wrong direction at the end. It should be spinning toward the knife-sharp edge of the stator.
That has to be the quickest wind up on a aca screamer s10
The intake getting sucked down can ruin the siren as it is not getting any air
? Why do we hear that thing question do we have to scream out of nowhere this game is called do not disturb screamer siren
The decot is cut off since there is a new eclipse 8 kitty corner from there....
The true omnidirectional Allertor
what port is it
9/12 port
Are all S-10's dual toned?
CentralPASirens yes I believe.
Anyone else notice the writing on the right under the shroud looks like it reads 10/11/80
Yah I see that
Date installed possibly?
@@NerfRhett Probably
Either date installed, or the date it was made.
The intake is blocked
Nice!
Sounds like a High pitched Allertor 125
AAAaaaLLLLL-L-L-L--L--L--L---L---L- righty then! Awesome, thanks for posting!
OMG ITS SOUND LIKE THE B&N MOBLIE DIRECO SIREN (btw it is a 10/12 port)
Trainman Andy this screamer is 9/12 not 10/12
I mean the B&N Moblie Direco was a 10/12 port
Trainman Andy bruh
@@TrainmanAndy kiddie
@@northdakotasirens1520 Oh wow, this was 4 years ago, I was such an idiot. I'm 16 now.

This is an ACA Screamer, not an E57.
@SirenTube oh
ACA Screamer S- 10
Cool! Nice video
Got taped be like:
That sounds just like an allertor!
yolanda inda it’s bc of the 9/12 port ratio
*banshee intensifies*
That's sounds like an aca allertor
I agree
Both the Allertor and Screamer use 9/12 port chopper and stators.
Sceamer S-10 triste in aprop
Whoo
sounds like an allertor
Same port ratio I believe
Typical Bill Shot :P
Calvin Mayer maya i got the choppa winda downa
