What most people really forget is that every trade is a risk. Then, the best way is to take only those trades that can give a large reward with an acceptable risk. Pick a strategy that works for you.

I'm about 2 1/2 years into my trading and it's only just clicking for me. I've recently gotten into trading with a small account that is a small fraction of what I could put into it. Mainly so I could try my hand at growing my own money. I kept it small so that I could limit losses and I have done very well with it so far. That said, I love your content because it has brought to light that despite my gains I have been an absolute moron with my stop loss management, which has backtracked me at least 30% of my gains. I will continue to binge these videos cause out of the handful of people I've watched on the subject I've never felt like another content creator was trying to protect my money the way you do. Thanks for the enlightening lectures.

I really appreciate your videos. I'm a new trader, but luckily, at 58 years of age, I have learned how to listen. lol I'm a cash-only trader, and I do not short. I look for really good long setups and then buy very small share sizes. I'm learning about options, but don't play them yet, because I don't feel confident there. It's taken me 3 months, but I've turned my initial $3,500 into $5,200. It doesn't seem like much, but I'm not willing to risk a lot of money on a single trade. I'm really aware of the fact that I'm learning. I just want you to know that some of us are listening! Thanks again.

Hello if you trade the US30 or any of the big markets then you need to prioritize getting the SQB AMAC strategy from Yuril zubong . If you are going to be successful at trading, you will need to acquire a trading strategy that is easy to execute, easy to understand, easy to follow, and that works for you consistently. You will also need to master your emotions and trust the plan..

I have less than $200 invested and my portfolio is around $350. It is beginner's luck without a doubt. I am not trying to pay bills with this but trying to learn a little. But I am paying attention to everything that I see in videos such as this one. Before I watched this one I wondered what happened pre and post market hours. This is great info, so now on to my next video!

I just found you, love what you teach. When you say you made x amount in 2 minutes, it reminds me of a story about an old man who no one thought could fix the train, they were making fun of him and made a ridiculous bet against him, offering him an enormous amount of money if he could make the train run and save his small town.... He turned a screw, the train started up and he held his hand out for payment. The loser was mad and threatened not to pay him because he only 'turned one screw'. The old man took his money and told the young man that he didn't get paid to 'turn one screw,' he got paid because he knew which screw needed to be turned and how far. My point, albeit long winded, is that you make in 2 minutes a ridiculous amount of money bc of the knowledge and experience and discipline you exercise, that you in turn, share with us. I'm sure you didn't start where you are now. Just another reason I practice with a small % of risk, testing my patterns to see if I was right reading the chart, the news, the economy etc. March crushed my account, Covid has given me some down time and I am using it to trade myself slowly out of my losses. I'm having a blast, making progress, and I've learned a lot from the man, ( you're not old) that knows which screw to turn.

Not only can you ask yourself "WHY" throw that kind of money away, but when are you going to "Stop", at some point you need to get a clue. Ego is a major emotion that is hard for some people to tame. I learned real fast that I was clueless about trading in the beginning and it did not take but $50 to open my eyes. Still learning thanks to you guys at L.T. 's and love the process.

Even made $130 on some Ford option during this extremely volatile market. Your videos are great and really show you how trading really is. The amount of people out there promising 1000% account growth daily on a $500 account is gross. Thankyou for giving me a great place to start, and i look forward to the career i can build with this basis!

I've decided to take a portion of my savings and try this. I think I have the right attitude and the discipline to possibly succeed at this. I'm still formulating a strategy and my rules for myself. I'm not looking to get rich quick. I'm not wealthy but I don't need money from the market to pay my bills. I plan to keep paper trading until i'm showing some consistency. Start small and slow and always always have a hard stop. Most if not all of these lessons I have learned from your lectures and I thank you for that. I look forward to them each week

Unfortunately, in Russia, we don't have pre-market that long, it"s only 15 min and that information doesn't appear on graphics) But! For sure only after Jeremy's videos i got that kind of eureka when i finally can understand what is going on at the markets. Any way, your patterns work like 85% of time, it's only about trader's patience to wait for them to happen. Thanks man!

This is one of the best videos on trading I have seen. The technical aspects are spot on but its the lessons he emphasizes that resonate with me. I am in my beginning stages (2.5 months in) of day trading and I am struggling with discipline. This guy talks to you like a friend would. He might not be nice about it but he says what we need to hear. Liked and Subscribed!

@Todd Good it was on a $40 trade, still trying to learn when to get out or stay in. I'm in a position from earlier today, haven't hit stop loss but under purchase. Do I just wait to hit Target/SL? Or should I just sell and minimize my losses under 10$?

    • @mediumhobbyist6981
      @mediumhobbyist6981 4 роки тому

@Todd Good thanks, I'll look into that. I know that I lost on this trade because I had an unrealistic Target(30¢ above the high for the day) so that's the next area I want to focus my learning in. Any books/videos/resources you could recommend to a brand new trader would be much appreciated. I have a very small $ to trade with.

Jared, I learned something very important through this video. I am an option trader but don't keep any SL. I plan to enter Stock trading based on this video and I learned that the position size is FIXED based on the Risk or SL. In the FB example, 0.60c SL with $500 risk would be around 800 shares. I always thought/told, buy random # of shares with known SL. Thanks for the tip.

This is what I have been looking for. Also, I need to find the video(s) you posted regarding Gap Ups and Gap Downs which will serve as a continuation to the Pre Market Play video. One other thing I would like to ask...what trading platform are you using on you video? I like the way you setup you layout found at about 31:12 minutes into your video. The layout is very logical and I like the way you incorporated all the pre-market price charts. Thank you again...Homer Martinez

Out Law the furu's. Thank the Lord I run across your videos before I started with real money. I was one of the people you talk about when I first started, BUT I was paper trading at the time. I would make some money, then turn around and loose twice as much. I was about to give up the hole idea but then I ran across your channel. And believe me at first I thought yeah here's another guy trying to tell me that I'm going to get rich if I buy his product. But then I watched one of your videos.... I have been watching ever sense. I have been trading with real money for three months now, but only risk $10 on all trades. I was doing pretty good until the market took a turn for the worst. Now I am just watching and waiting for my chance to get back in. Right now the market is just to volatile for me to trade as a new trader. Thank you so much for putting these videos out there and telling it how it is. Great job Jared.....

You say that you set your buy and stop loss one minute after the open then go to the beach.
After 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. the stock price usually tappers down. When and how do you sell?
You don't make money unless you sell before it goes back down.

You should only use pre-market with GOOD gaps and GOOD patterns...and always give them extra room because of the spread/whip. If you get stopped out then I'd get back in on the 84% rule...That's a video from 4-6 weeks ago...

Very timely video. Been trading XOM. Noticed the pre m and had been studying it. I've sold for nice gains pre m and bought for nice gains. Just as you stated watch the hour , hour and a half pm. Great stuff. I play pluck a buck. Sounds funny. But I plan my trade. Get my entry and add one dollar. I watch for a set up I like. This video was spot on. Sometimes they gap and go. Other times they sell off early and one has to wait on entry. I work a job full time. so, I'm practicing discipline and working on scaling the size of my trade in relation for the move expected. Thus I try to pluck a buck. Hey, I will take less if candles get ugly. I errr now on the side of capital preservation. I know the next set up is just around the corner. ...
