Exposing the INSANITY of HUMANITY in the Most POLITICALLY INCORRECT Book in the World

  • The great Taoist sage Zhuangzi critiques the stupidity of humanity like no other sage throughout history. In the Zhuangzi text, he warns us of the potential danger of a world where people are asleep and, as a consequence, have lost their inner spirit. Zhuangzi's final warning is one many Taoists heeded back in the Warring States period of China, when the politically correct hell of a Confucian society was established. But no time more than now in the 21st century, when the very same pattern is repeating itself, does his warning have the most relevance. The question to the entire world is: can we hear the warning and turn back towards the light of Tao?

      @@SRSR-pc8ti May I ask, are you living above your means? Not a criticism, but if you are living a ostentatious material/consumerism lifestyle, you might have to "cut back' to live a Taoist lifestyle. For example: I have CHOSEN to forego an iPhone (have a simple flip phone), drive a 20 year old car and live in a modest house. Do you feel you have to "keep up with the Jones's"? Taoism = simple lifestyle

    Nicely said. Especially 'we ARE Dao'. Not many people get that - it's essentially the same concept as Brahman in advaita.

    Are all people good? No. Psychopaths are born that way (1%). Sociopaths are mostly created, but many still have physical traits to make them that way (4-6% of society).
    I work two jobs. One of them is to promote home improvement products at home and garden shows and festivals. I stand and watch the crowds pass the booth. Yesterday (a springtime day in Dallas Texas) I saw more of the typical human traffic. So many people have ugly demonic inspired tattoos of skulls, angry faces, and things that could have come from horror movies, on their bodies. These are the things that have infiltrated society in a huge way. They are on almost everybody. What kind of crazy must one have in order to think putting such on one's body forever is a good thing?
    Ultimately, living and having full acceptance of everything as it is, is a goal of spiritual freedom. Clearly I'm not there yet with my example of judging others. Yet Lao Tsu left his city because he didn't want to associate with what was happening there. I feel that way now.
    Where can one go without plenty of money these days? In the ancient times one could live in a forest if one knew how to find food or farm. There are no places in the western world, especially the USA, where such can be done without interference.
    I might become an over the road truck driver and live in the truck; away from the world in my own bubble as it travels through the dregs of humanity bringing them the food that they need. There isn't much nature there, but I would be away from the masses.

    The quotation mentions not fearing what we should fear. What exactly should we fear according to Zhuangzi?
    ========================================
    How does one in the western world (or anywhere) just allow everything to happen and unfold and still survive? If I just sit or lay on my bed, without working, but still eating, and using the bathroom, I really doubt that somehow money would come to me to pay the rent; or that I would feel the urge to get up and do something that would bring money to me.
    In time I would be removed from the living space and forced to be outside. What then? Would there be an unconscious urge to do something to earn money? Would I sit and just wait to die? How did Zhuangzi live his life? How did he survive? Did he have his own business? Was he a craftsman?

That's a different allowing than just accepting what others are projecting as a collective consciousness, which in a sense, may keep you "poor" or "diseased". Create your own Maya, knowing it is Maya and navigate by graciously allowing the connection with the Infinite to paint and color the experiences you have requested. the goal of all beings was to gain consciousness of their own divinity, and to realise the absolute oneness of God.
    Meher Baba's teachings concerned the nature and purpose of life. He described the phenomenal world as illusory, and presented the idea that the Universe is imagination. He taught that God alone exists, and each soul is God passing through imagination in order to realize its own divinity.
